You don't have to be crazy to be on this thread but it helps

(Ladies, I thought I would jump in and start a non-sweary titled fred. Feel free to turn the air blue now!)

You're not a knob, tame. You've been through a lot the last few days and weeks. Take care of yourself.

twinklestar2 · 20/06/2013 17:33

Fab news wish! Look after yourself :)

mejust · 20/06/2013 18:17

eurozammo · 20/06/2013 18:24

motor every clinic seems to do things differently! IVF seems to be an art rather than a science...

wish 15 is amazing! You are a machine! Sorry you are feeling so crappy after the GA though. It's vile stuff. Go and sleep it off some more.

JuicySausage · 20/06/2013 18:40

Aw, Wish, fifteen eggs is super, well done!

Motor, I will be forever mystified why i had Ovitrelle (trigger shot) exactly at the same time time as my donor 72 hrs before EC, as I had no eggs Confused The shot I had at ET was HCG to support the embryos.

My award for best tea today goes to.......Mejust for her chicken and mash Thanks

JuicySausage · 20/06/2013 18:41

Tortie, you are worrying me. Please rest, lovely.

wishicouldhavealargeMalibu · 20/06/2013 18:48

Thanks peeps! I'm very happy with the result. We also had a bit more good news as DP's sperm was boarder line when previously tested but today is was a great batch. I almost did a commando role in celebration Smile

They gave us the choice of ICSI and IVF and recommended the natural selection IVF so we went for it. Lets hope it was the right choice.

Get some rest tame or ill have to put my cross nursery nurse voice on and you will not like that!! Wink

tametortie · 20/06/2013 19:14

I've got my feet up now. Smile and DH is giving them a rub.

Juicy- that is strange about the 2 triggers! Wonder why they do that?

I have booked our review appt at nurture for 19th august. Will hopefully have my cycle back in order by then and have the DNA frag results. Can breathe easy till then and concentrate on eating well and getting myself in tip top condition.

Oh and DNA frag test is booked for Saturday 6th July at 12 noon so if anyone fancies cake and a coffee while DH thrashes his trouser snake, let me know Smile

JuicySausage · 20/06/2013 19:43

Can I watch him thrash?

JuicySausage · 20/06/2013 19:44

Commando roll! Grin

MotorcycleMama · 20/06/2013 20:43

Oh god is it usual to have an HCG shot? I don't think my clinic have suggested that for me.

tame Glad you are resting now.

mejust · 20/06/2013 21:00

motor i think you will as juicy did you will need hcg, look the other way while its done.are you excited now?

Thanks for the award juicy,if we do one for knowing every swear word in the book you win Wink.what day are you testing?

its nearly time for the dreaded menopur jab which i fucking hate with a passionAngry

mejust · 20/06/2013 21:04

fish where are you whens your scan?

JuicySausage · 20/06/2013 21:44

Motor, I asked why the Pregnyl was required and Petra dish said it was to support a pregnancy. The biggest mystery for me was why the heck I needed Ovitrelle (trigger) 36 hrs before the donor's EC Confused

Are you afraid of needles, Motor? How are you feeling? Is EC the 24th?

Mejust, I think you're fucking bang out of order with your bastard accusations that I'm a batshit potty-mouth. You twat. How was you mash? Was the chicken roasted?

Big waves to twinkle, choco, resipsa, nooknook, nokkie, fish, Raquel, Fleur and anyone who is so shy that they can only lurk most of the time xx

JuicySausage · 20/06/2013 21:46

....or can't get a word in edgeways Sad

chocolocodowninacapulco · 20/06/2013 21:47

Well hello there

Great news about the eggs wish and hope you are a feeling a bit better and hope they looked after you well

karbea not at argc, no, but my consultant was saying they use Clomid in IVF cycles there, so was worth a try. How is the 2 week wait going?

tame try and take it easy my lovely, glad the worst of things seem to be over and you are making plans

mejust menopur is a giant pain in the arse. How much longer do you think you will be on it?

joos how is pupoland?

zammo good going with the follies

Hello to everyone else.

I'm trying hard to be patient and failing miserably, to be fair can't believe that it's nearly 3 months since the miscarriage and I guess it's only another 5 week's ish til I can start again

chocolocodowninacapulco · 20/06/2013 21:51

Random greengrocer's apostrophe courtesy of phone - weeks!

You think joos, can't get a word in edgeways Grin

About to try and convince DH that he doesn't want to go to sleep, but instead wants to have rampant sex- not liking my chances!

JuicySausage · 20/06/2013 21:58

Choco, I love the name change!

I'm okay, thanks, but trying to ignore the fact that I've felt seriously nauseous all day. I have a stomach of iron and never, ever feel sick so, of course, the menkulling is telling me it's a sign. My rational self admits it is far too early at 2dp5dt to be feeling sick!

I'm watching Happy Families on Ch4 and getting all teary imagining never knowing the pain and the ecstasy of having my own family Sad

chocolocodowninacapulco · 20/06/2013 22:13

Ah, joos we'll all get there my love. It's hard being positive in the 2ww, but we're all here to get through it with you. Hugs xx

Karbea · 20/06/2013 22:17

Arr ok choco, yes'm fine. Had my parents and aunty and uncle here today, my aunty had to do an insulin inj ans asked if it was ok for her to do it infront of me, I said after ivf nothing bothers me, so my mum asked if we were going to do it again.... I had to lie and said err maybe, and I had my baby boy (puppy) and she agreed!

JuicySausage · 20/06/2013 22:20

Hey, Karbea, I missed you out! Sad Are you mentalling yet? When will you test? I think I'll wee on a stick next Thurdsday (9dp5dt).

eurozammo · 20/06/2013 22:21

I'm feeling a little odd this evening. Like I'm coming down with something or am hitting a sugar low. Usually eating will help the latter, but I have had food and still feel strange. Sort of spacey and slightly queasy. I guess it's the drugs.

twinklestar2 · 20/06/2013 22:22

I don't post much as I don't have much to say at the moment.

twinklestar2 · 20/06/2013 22:22

I'm just very scared its not going to work :(

JuicySausage · 20/06/2013 22:36

Twinkle, can I Be Very Scared With You? Sad
