I think due date is around the 5 Feb if I last had AF around 30 April / 01 May. Not sure if that's right exactly as my cycles aren't typically 28 days.

Will have to try to get to the docs before we go away on Friday!

I have Monday 3rd earmarked as my testing day. Dd will be at nursery, dp at work so it'll just be me and the stick though I doubt it'll be a good'un

Sure you can hold in your first pee of the day until you have dropped DD off at nursery? Good luck with it!

I think I'm planning on the Sunday 2nd June, just in time to go back to work on Monday.

I think I'll also test around 2nd / 3rd although I'm not hopeful for this month. First cycle after the pill, which was a bit messed up so I'm not sure when ov occurred if at all, but there is still a chance we got it right.

coffee and catherine when have you planned to test? Before AF, or on the day you expect it or after?

Well this is my first cycle after my AF straight after implant removal so I'm guessing at my cycle and when AF is due. At 28 days it would be due on the 31st, and apart from the 1 cycle I had before conceiving DD (30 days), its been many years since I had a natural cycle to know how long it is.

So, this is the long way of saying - its complete guesswork, based on my only natural cycle in the last 10 years, I'm testing on my guessed AF due date.

Yep, guessing here too! Can't remember what natural cycle was, it's been too long! But i got some indication for this month as I used cbfm. Even though it never gave me a peak, by reading the sticks I can guess ov, so I think I'll just wait two weeks after that for AF or test.

According to clearblue website you should test at least 19days from the last date of unprotected sex.

What a lovely way to start you holiday! There's no better feeling then when you are carrying a child especially before anyone else knows.

I'm giving it a bloody good go this month. I had planned to do EMSP but as DH has been horny as hell and the OPKs informed me i was high fertility we've dtd every day - hope his little swimmers can keep up. I'll test again today to see if I'm now peak fertility.

I'm guessing too. Had my mirena out 27th march, and then a pitiful withdrawal bleed on 8th may so I'm taking that as the start of my cycle but who knows. I haven't had a natural period for about 9 years!

Well today was my POAS day - So i did - and it was -ve. I think from now untill AF shows up i will POAS once a week. However not expecting much - All my symptoms have gone now

Hope everybody had a lovely bank holiday weekend - I consumed far too much wine, it would of been rude not to!

Hippo - I have no symptoms at all. But I didn't get any with dd until I was about 6/7 weeks pregnant as she was a pill baby -never missed one so stay hopeful! I'm CD21 today. Only dtd four times this month but all around (my guessed) ovulation so who knows.

My house is goin to be super clean this week as I procrastinate to avoid report writing!

MrsLadyL do you think you did ovulate yesterday? Any signs of pain, increased cm etc. I would say you are still in with a chance. Could you seal the deal by dtd today and tomorrow too just incase your app is slightly out?

OPK saying still high fertility for me. Clear blue website marketing blurb says that it identifies 4 fertile days by measuring lh and estrogen. As this is day3 of high fertility, I'm guessing I should get peak fertility tomorrow or thurs. If thats the case we might be in with a chance of conceiving before a trip to my parents puts a hold on things. I hope we don't wear ourselves out before then!

Hello MrsladyL Hope you are well. I've been learning a lot from reading different threads on MN and apparently you can sometimes ovulate later in your cycle then you think so don't give up this month yet, keep DTD as much as you can :)

Also I've learn that the smiley face OPK are the best ones to use as the cheapie ones always give you a line even when you're not ovulating! I've used a OPK for the first time this month but not had a positive yet.

I'm also doing the SMEP this month but haven't been following it as much as I should of been!

With regards to the SMEP we've been DTD on more days then we are suppose to so i'm not complaining :)

Hope everyone is O.K. I saw my friend on Friday and hopefully created my amazing lil miracle. Seeing him again this Friday. Not feeling very positive only making love once a week, but you never know... I just hope my next cycle is not like last month.... Late period and had me building my hopes up. God Mother nature can be a right bitch at times

coffee 19 days? Thought it would be less. Seems like forever to wait.

bnmum is that the first time for you using cbfm? I am just at the end of the first cycle. It doesn't always register the peak in the first cycle. Mine gave me 7 days of high with no peak, but I think by interpreting the lines on the sticks that I had ov on the first or second day of the high. The device just needs to learn to read your cycle, so you might not get a peak, but that doesn't mean you didn't ov.

Thanks blueamber, I will bear that in mind. I'm using the cb OPK with hormone indicator not the fertility monitor (but they may work the same?), a friend has also given me her leftover cb OPKs so I have a comparison.

I did both today and had high fertility on one and no ov on the other so they both tie in. I'll test with both again if/when I get I get a peak fertility symbol.

I used the cb OPKs for the month I conceived DS so I have high hopes for this month. Even if it doesnt work, I think I will continue to use OPKs to get to know my cycle better.

I prefer cb OPKs as there's no second guessing, they're so simple and easy to use. The can be expensive but I managed to get a great deal by shopping around. Are you using them too Cristabell?

sorry bnmum for the useless advice! I'd never heard of cb OPKs so I just presumed you had the monitor. Oh well

I caved and poas at (don't laugh) just cd21 and of course it was negative!

Hi ladies, Tiny massive congratulations that is fabulous news!

I have some good news too, I managed to get a cancellation and am having a hysteroscopy this Thursday! I can finally get the coil out after trying since March! I am apprehensive but so relieved that the end is in sight!

Does anyone have experience of a hysteroscopy and what to expect pain wise?
