TTC #2 and turning into a nut job!

Ladies, bring me back down to Earth before it's too late! I'm TTC #2 and its only the 2nd cycle and I'm already doing my own head in not to mention my OH.....we're not the kind of couple to have regular sex when not TTC (much to my disappointment ) so it's a real effort for DS to, erm, pull his finger out as it were and DTD every other day. With DS1 I had no idea about CM and OPKs and just used an ovulation calendar for timing but this time round I'm in danger of falling into the OPK trap! I'm aware of my constant whittling and DH even said that he hopes I get pregnant this month so he doesn't have to listen to me begging for him to do it just one more time! Anyone in the same boat?

I've been lurking since April - delurking to ask a question, if that's ok! Am 11dpo, af due 20th, not really trying so much as being deliberately careless (really want DC2 but know now is a really bad time), and some symptoms:

-Didn't really fancy wine last night
-Incredibly tired (but DD sleeping badly this week)
-Craving chocolate and fruit (related to tiredness?)
-Tummy ache last night that feels like the beginning of af, but af never comes early (but may be due to eating rubbish)
-One sore nipple (but DD is feeding like a monster at the moment)

Still drinking tea and coffee though, and I went off them immediately last time. What does anyone think?

Well my smiley face had gone by Sat (cd13). We DTD cd12 and cd14 in the end...I think cd14 may have been too late so only one chance this cycle? not sure though, I'm still a bit new to the opks.

Hey everyone sorry I've not been around, the move didnt happen and we still haven't got the keys!

Currently on cd17 I think ovulation was 14/15 managed to dtd 9,11 and 15 couldn't do anymore cos we are staying with my dad and his girlfriend.

Will they little swimmers last that long?!

POAS this morning but bfn. But af isn't due til Thursday, and with DD I only got bfp at 3w!

Hello! I'd really like to join this thread please as I'm sufficiently loopy. I'm TTC #2. I have a DS, and had a MMC earlier this year and been trying ever since. All my friends who I know through #1 are pregnant or have had #2 already so I'm beginning to despair. They don't even talk to me about my MMC and almost pretend it never happened so am feeling a bit isolated. I know its probably because they don't want to bring it up but I'm starting to think I can't hang around with them any more. I can't really have a good old moan to them about POAS at every opportunity even when I've got AF (yes, really), forcing DH to DTD on a monday night, being afraid to go running in case I 'dislodge' and egg thats trying to implant and imagining every pregnancy symptom under the sun! Anyone else as crazy as me??!

So to add to my symptoms, I'm now going for a wee every 15mn!!! That's driving me insane!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi muzzy hope you're good? No symptoms per say apart from the ones im imagining of course back ache, hungrier than normal, twinges here and there and the other night I was laying on my side and coughed and got an excruciating stabby pain on left hand side of abdomen, but last time I had that was just before I had my chem pg. Im trying to just assume that af will arrive bcos I keep getting my hopes up too much :0/ it only takes one dtd to make a sticky bean, so your cd12 I would have thought would cover it, so keeping fx for you!!

Hello babyrose the swimmers hopefully will have lasted as at time of ov the ewcm should protect them a bit, at any other normal time they can last a minimum of 72hours and if you were ov day 15 rather than 14 that should be covered by the dtd that day :0) keeping fx for you too! Can believe the move didnt happen, do you know ehen you do get the keys now then?

Welcome fedup best place her for the nutty's!! We are all a little crazy in our own way here! ! I know what you mean about the feeling of not wanting to dislodge, I think that all the time!! Thats why I gave up dtd after a certain point just because I didn't want anything to be dislodged! ! I wonder why your friends wont talk about mmc with you, imo its important to talk about the things that happen to us to help with accepting it and coping with it better so feel free to offload if you need to. What stage cd are you?

I'm CD 6 today, AF was 3 days late this month, so I'm now gearing myself up for OPKs and DTD from today. I think they don't want to talk about it because its uncomfortable for them as they are all preggers and their pregnancy has all gone / is going OK. Thank you for the off-loading offer, it does help to talk about it with fellow nutties!

Looking forward to meeting everyone else on here and FX for everyone due AF that it doesn't rock up!

I got a BFP!!!!!! DH doesn't even know yet as he is away until tomorrow night :)

I got 2 faint lines yesterday and today on my cheapie sticks so bought some superdrug ones today and although the line is still faint its definitely a line!

Although this was our 5 month of trying, it was the first month we dtd around ovulation (thanks OPKs!) as due to ridiculous circumstances we kept missing the boat (same as with DS - was trying for 6 months but only got my ovulation dates right then)! Anyway, I'll be due roughly end of Feb, which going by my family history, baby will arrive in March.

muz no advices unfortunately. You can still dtd on Thursday and if it doesn't work this month I would opk from cd 10 as you seem to have an odd patern.

babyrose if you think you may have ov on 15/16 and you dtd on 15 then in my book I would say you're still covered, what do you ladies think too? Good luck with the move tom, glad you gave the keys now! Im cd28 today but not entirely sure when af due it was either today tomorrow or thursday as last cycle was 30 days. I had what felt like dull achey pains today, so I expect af will probably turn up soon, but the pains went off so notentirely sure now as they nnormally stay with me right through af!!

Abi I always worry we never dtd enough over the fertile period even last month was every day! But who knows we only did what we could this month so keeping my fingers crossed!

mrscookie that nausea thing is horrid isn't it, I had awful nausea with our DS. Hopefully it wears off before too long, they say around 16 weeks, but I hope it doesn't affect you for too much longer!!

babyrose keeping my pinkies crossed for you. I think its mainly down to the environment that is there for a sticky bean, thats why when anyone comes off the pill it takes a while for the environment to be right bcos of thechemicals to be rid of our systems! The main thing is you know you have been actively trying! ! Not really had any symptoms, I have a funny feeling that af will be imminent. I have a bit of nausea off and on but I think thats mainly down to being hungry! I have weird dull achey pains here and there but not all the time which I normally do have with af but it can change at any point so im of the mindset that af will arrive. Ive been a little nut job in my own way this end of cycle and been checking my temp (only in ear) and its actually gone down as of this morning. Im pretty sure if you're pg it stays hi doesnt it?? Af due by tomoz by my estimations so I guess if it doesnt come on by the morning I could POAS then maybe, or perhaps leave it till friday/weekend time?!
