TTC #2 and turning into a nut job!

Ladies, bring me back down to Earth before it's too late! I'm TTC #2 and its only the 2nd cycle and I'm already doing my own head in not to mention my OH.....we're not the kind of couple to have regular sex when not TTC (much to my disappointment Sad) so it's a real effort for DS to, erm, pull his finger out as it were and DTD every other day. With DS1 I had no idea about CM and OPKs and just used an ovulation calendar for timing but this time round I'm in danger of falling into the OPK trap! I'm aware of my constant whittling and DH even said that he hopes I get pregnant this month so he doesn't have to listen to me begging for him to do it just one more time! Anyone in the same boat?

Congrats Cookie - that's v exciting news!

How are things with you Ninu? Are you holding off for a few days?

Commiserations Bartbaby - let's hope June brings more positive news.

Hope everyone's enjoying the sunshine - not much happening here except a busy work schedule. I'm CD 6 or 7 and think I ov around cd12 so need to get busy!

StoneBaby · 05/06/2013 22:03

Looks like we are all determined that the dtd this month will get us a BFP. That's a year this month that DH and I started ttc and my last chance for a winter baby (DS was a winter baby so I'm thinking reusing his clothes Blush )

Ninunina · 05/06/2013 23:29

I wish I could say I'm holding off coolhand but I'm on a role now! Clearblue was negative this morning, my urine was very light in colour though because I drank loads of water before bed yesterday. I bought another 2 cheapies today and will do one tomorrow. I really hope I see something cos it's getting a bit demoralising now. Still nauseous and crampy at times though. ..so still have some hope (plus it's only 9dpo).

Ninunina · 06/06/2013 06:23

Another BFN! New rule! No more POAS until at least Tuesday Shock

How many of you think I can do it? Only problem is that I have a wedding tomorrow and I want to see if I can have a glass of champers... not that I feel like it with this nausea!

StoneBaby · 06/06/2013 08:20

ninu have champagne. If it's a BFP next week at least you would have had a drink and if it's a BFN you won't regret not having one Grin

StoneBaby · 06/06/2013 10:38

I'm going to invest on CB opk smiley tests as I'm convinced I can see a faint line on my cheappy it's all in my head as I'm only cd13 and I'm determined that this month is MY month Confused

Coolhand · 06/06/2013 21:19

I second the 'have champagne' Ninu.

Willing you to stay strong until Tuesday...except I know that I set myself targets like that all the time and never stick to it! At least tmorrow's wedding will be a distraction. Hope you have a good day.

Ninunina · 07/06/2013 10:50

Champagne it is! Grin I thought I'd test this morning just in case so I can have it guilt free. BFN of course. No more tests left. . and I'm not going to test again until AF is due!

StoneBaby · 07/06/2013 13:12

ninu enjoy! At least with on test in the house, you will not be tempted Grin

Tonight is a planned dtd but my opk are still showing as a non-ov time. So fx, DH little swimmers have a long life or that I manage to get another dtd close / on the ov date... Hmm

AbiBub · 07/06/2013 14:38

Hey Ladies!

I hope you all have wonderful weekends. Just thought I would drop by and say helloooooo!

ninu enjoy that champagne lovely! and then sit on those hands till af is due Wink

stone hope the dtd goes to plan Grin and that dh swimmers know how to stick it out for a bit longer, and that you manage to get to dtd a bit more, just in case of course Wink

coolhand so your ov around the time of this weekend then? hope you manage to get some dtd in too. Wink

How is everyone anyhow? So I am cd17 today I think, my OH and I dtd yesterday, and then I have planned at least dtd on sunday (cd19) and then Wednesday next week (cd22) and if we feel like it next Saturday too (cd25). I had decided to just pretty much fill up my 2ww with the regular dtd, just in case I ov late. Had no EWCM that I have noticed but we have been dtd every 3 days, so it could just be its gone unnoticed because of leftovers (excuse the TMI!!) Blush

So whats everyones plans for the weekend? Its mine and my OH anniversary of being together for 6 years today so we are child free tonight/overnight (good job too as he keeps waking me up at 2.30am!!) we have a meal at home, then off to the cinema. Really looking forward to it Grin

StoneBaby · 07/06/2013 18:12

abi have a great night childfree

AbiBub · 07/06/2013 18:14

StoneBaby · 07/06/2013 21:08

So the good news is - I have not yet. The bad news is - not dtd tonight as DH is fast asleep Sad Angry Confused

StoneBaby · 07/06/2013 21:08

not ov yet

muzzy2011 · 07/06/2013 21:14

Wake him up!!

winterpansy · 07/06/2013 22:09

Hey abi just checking in - hope you're enjoying your evening out!
It's our first wedding anniversary (although have been together for nearly 14 years) this weekend but we have no babysitter so celebrating next weekend. Can't wait!

Hey everyone else - hope all is going well with dtd or waiting to poas etc.

Everything good here - 10 weeks on Sunday and scan on Tuesday. The sickness is wearing off a bit and I'm feeling a good bit better.

BartBaby · 07/06/2013 23:17

Ive got a question for you lovely ladies, im putting a TMI warning on first though!! its a bit personal so dont read on if you're feeling queasy Hmm

Right... AF turned up wed afternoon. Not too heavy , just steady away. Bit heavier thurdsay morning, then medium again thurs night. Normal reddy brown colour (i did warn you's!) friday am there was barely anything there. Little bit of brownish when i wiped friday afternoon. As it was pretty much done we dtd friday evening, no blood or anything. But afterwards ive had bright red blood when wiping (quite a bit of it) Totally different to earlier in the day.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal? Ive never had anything like this before...

StoneBaby · 08/06/2013 10:08

bart no experience of this but take care

So we dtd this morning Grin opk is still neg so I'll continue testing and see if I can fit another dtd once the smiley appears Hmm

AbiBub · 08/06/2013 23:10

Hey ladies!

Hello winter how are you lovely? Thank you we had a wonderful time last night! After Earth is a really good film if any of you get the chance to watch it! I hope you and your DH have a wonderful anniversary lovely! Smile

stone glad you have managed to get in a dtd this morning Grin hopefully a smiley will turn up soon and you can get in another dtd session! Wink have you had any other signs if ov?

bart I have had that before, but I think that was my body trying to settle down after being on the pill, the next month I had a chem pg ( they are more common with me than most people as over fertile just my environment isnt right for it to be a sticky bean very often!) Was it really heavy or could you class it as spotting? I quite often get blood after dtd and its because my cervix is tilted and I suffer from cervical erosion, but it can be down to a chance of the hormonebalance, which could be your bbody's way of settling down (our bods are more sensitive than we give them credit for sometimes! !) If you are really concerned perhaps worth a trip to the docs? Have you goggled it? Im sure everything will be fine though!

How are the rest of you lovely ladies?

BartBaby · 09/06/2013 00:00

Hi abi thanks for your reply. It was a bit heavier last night, mostly spotting when wiping today. But its all but gone now so im not overly converned. Like you said it could just be my body settling down after having the coil removed. It was only 2 months ago although it feels a life time ago with this ttc malarkey maybe dtd disturbed something up there!

I hope everyone else is doing ok Smile

AbiBub · 09/06/2013 00:09

He may have done bartbaby !! Those sorts of things I think can happen. :0/ I know, this ttc malarky does seem to make time feel longer than it normally would!! Hey ho a least we have LO's to keep us busy eh!!

Wink
Ninunina · 09/06/2013 10:36

AF arrived 4 days early! I was back to feeling a little hopeful this morning since still nauseous and my boobs are tingly (not usual for me). It wasn't meant to be I guess! Oh well!

StoneBaby · 09/06/2013 10:41

ninu Sad

abi I never get any ov symptoms. It's down to day countings and okp for me Smile

bart as it's only 2 months you're ttc I will guess your body may still try to find its normality

AbiBub · 09/06/2013 12:11

ninu is it deffo your af, not just spotting? sorry to hear the evil af witch has arrived Sad

stone ahhhh well at least you're on track with how to gague it, which means that you will get the most out any cycle that you possibly can! Keeping all pinkies crossed for you! Smile

How are we all doing ladies?

Im on cd19 here, have a dtd set for tonight and then wed, was gonna try for next sat too but that will be cd25 so may give it a miss, not entirely sure?!? Confused
