As if I'm not on enough threads already....but...
have decide to get pro-active and get fit.

On clomid for three months so I have decided to commit to 100 days of good stuff body-wise.
By 5th August (if I have got my maths right) I WILL be a twiglet!!
Slim (a long way to go), brown (healthily done of course) and with all the bumps in the right places!! Including a nice little baby bump too please!!

I thought if I posted on MN I would HAVE to do it!
Here goes....only 99 1/2 days left.....

Hi Coggy - not like you to be chating in the day, day off work?

Have managed to be good for a few day, am taking fruit to snack on at work and managing to avoid ice creams etc.

Going for my 6th acupunture session tonight last week she worked on some energy points and i think it has worked as i am having less sleep but feel better for it and have managed to get on top of my ironing pile which never usually seems to go down, at the moment no ironing to do. Am keeping the house tidier as well.

All good.

Hi Natty & Coggy - I would kill now for something delicious and fatty, probably the nasty, rainy and cold weather (I live in Scotland). It makes me feel really down, we had some sun yesterday but I was stuck indoors in a meeting all day could also be hormones I guess! enjoy the rest of your day!

coggy · 12/07/2006 14:44

Sorry MrsMcJnr but it's lovely here!!!!
I'm off to work now (kindof a quarter work day for me on a Weds!!)

Internet bill is going to be MASSIVE this month!!!

Belly is going to be EVEN BIGGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oops!

OP posts:
coggy · 12/07/2006 14:45

....just re-read that and it sounds hopeful..but don't be!!

Belly bigger does not (sadly) mean I'm pg....just means I've been very bad and piggy!!!!

Tut tut!!

Hi Coggy, much better day here today and though I am stuck in the office and not working from home where I could have been outside, I am meeting a friend for champagne in some gardens after work so that's something to look forward to .

I really thought that when we got back from honeymoon and we stopped having 3 course breakfasts and 3 cocktails at lunchtime that some of the weight would drop off, no such luck!

Have a good day!

coggy · 13/07/2006 09:43

Mmmmm! I'd like champagne in someone's garden - how civilised!!! Less calories in champagne than any other alcohol i believe....so have an extra one for me!!

How long ago was your Honeymoon?
I guess quite recently?

Natty1806 · 13/07/2006 09:49

Champagne - how lovely. You weighing tomorrow?

Think AF is on her way so not sure if the good days this week will make the weight go down as i tend to get a bit of water retention.

Not sunny here yet today but think by this afternoon it will have broken through.

coggy · 13/07/2006 09:52

My belly in HUGE....!
When AF comes I thin everyone had better stand well back!!!!!

Okay..sorry...TMI!!!!

You sure your not preg. Maybe you should do another test in a few days .

Angsthase · 13/07/2006 10:37

Been keeping away this week. Had a very bad one .
Far too much alcohol and some other crap going on so haven't been watching what I eat - and from Friday (lost 4lbs) to yesterday (put 2lb back on)
Plus no running.
Oh dear, back to the beginning for me!!!

MrsMcJnr · 13/07/2006 10:43

I know! I'm really looking forward to the champers and you are right about the calories Coggy.

Champagne was so expensive (as was wine) on honeymoon (we were in Thailand and Singapore - only back two weeks)! We're drinking to celebrate me coming home from honeymoon (trying to stretch the wedding celebrations out until our 1st anniversary!).

Hi Natty - yes, I will be weighing in tomorrow. Feel so bloated and strange though but at least it's my first weigh in. Would be good if AF arrived (really don't think I'm pg) as then I might feel and look better.

Speak to you both later!

coggy · 13/07/2006 12:02

Hey congrats MrsMcJnr - excellent plan to keep celebrating til first anniversary...I'm all for that idea!!!

Angsthase - look on the bright side...it's still a 2 pound loss overall and you've had fun?!! Me? Just going up and up!!

Natty did you notice I typed thin instead of think ? A rather appropriate error for this thread!!!

Natty1806 · 14/07/2006 09:23

Lost 0.5lbs not brill but better than nothing.

P.S no more signs of AF arriving, prob be another 2 weeks so can't blame the expanding tummy on that. Took my measurments this monring and what that was, looks like i need to lose inches as well as pounds.

MrsMcJnr · 14/07/2006 09:52

Lost 1 1/4 this week (yes the 1/4 matters) maybe some of those cocktails are wearing off! Well done Natty, down is better than up or staying the same! I feel horribly bloated and uncomfortable.

How about you Coggy? feeling any better now after the arrival of AF.

Have a good day.

Natty1806 · 14/07/2006 11:10

Well done, that is a good start. {Grin]

coggy · 14/07/2006 12:56

Well done you too....steps in the right direction are good no matter how big or small....you're going down!!

Thanks for asking MrsMcJnr...AF hasn't arrived yet..still hanging in there.......!!

OP posts:
coggy · 14/07/2006 12:57

Ooops!! Aterrible mistake for a teacher to make.....I meant two not too.....can't even blame it on a typing error!!

Booboobedoo · 14/07/2006 13:08

Quick hi-jack:

Ooh coggy! Are you going to test?

coggy · 14/07/2006 15:31

Tested a couple of days ago and got a bfn (no surprise there then!!) and now feel grumpy so I guess AF will arrive whenever she feels I've suffered enough!!!

I looked back at my cycle lengths and had one 32 days a few months ago, so still plenty of time sadly.
(CD29 today)

Well done Mrs McJnr - 1 1/4 thats hugh!! Great start

Natty - 0.5lb is great - isn't that about what you're meant to loose a week to have healthy weight loss?

Coggy - weight will drop off after AF arrives - trust me I'm an optimist

My terrible week has just turned catastrophic! Bag of chips for lunch

Sunday is officially the beginning of my new week. Starts with a run at 9:30. I'll report back on Monday with how the reality is shaping up

Natty1806 · 14/07/2006 16:37

Thanks Angsthase.

Chips sound yummy - hopw you enjoyed them. Have fun on your run on Sunday.

coggy · 17/07/2006 07:55

I can't rememebr what I weighed last week - I was so horrified that I've erased it from memory...so...I've either stayed the same or lost a pound.

Not bad considering a MASSIVE AF (sorry!!) and eaten like a pig cos I was so fed up last week!!

I am going to shame myself into being good from now on by writing down my weight each week as well as my losses...that way I won't forget and I'll be embarrased if I go up!!

CD2
?lost 1lb ?stayed the same
11 stone 6

Hope everyone else's week's are better!!
Have you gone for that run yet Angsthase??!!

OP posts:
Natty1806 · 17/07/2006 08:10

Well done, good idea about posting the weight. {smile]

Angsthase · 17/07/2006 09:17

mia culpa...

Met up with a friend on Saturday who I haven't seen in 3 years as he lives in the states. Dinner led to drinks ....needless to say DIDN'T manage the 9:30 run - knew it was optimistic.

HOWEVER, today new week has officially started.

Weight is 69.5Kg. (only have funny continental scales). This week: Lost nothing, gained nothing.
But when I started was 70.7Kg, so not hopeless ...yet!
