As if I'm not on enough threads already....but...
have decide to get pro-active and get fit.

On clomid for three months so I have decided to commit to 100 days of good stuff body-wise.
By 5th August (if I have got my maths right) I WILL be a twiglet!!
Slim (a long way to go), brown (healthily done of course) and with all the bumps in the right places!! Including a nice little baby bump too please!!

I thought if I posted on MN I would HAVE to do it!
Here goes....only 99 1/2 days left.....

I think i might go buy the plan this evening, is it food OH will eat as well? Main meals only?

muminamini · 06/07/2006 21:18

My first day has been a disaster

Had porrige for brekkie - ok there but the celebrations which were open at work were calling me all morning!

Didn't have too many but have just had this 'I must eat tonnes of chocolate' head on.

I had a ham salad sandwich on brown bread for lunch and spag bol for tea (slimming world recipe) but I haven't stuck to the plan and had too many naughty things - bah!!!

The only exercise I do is typing or BD'ing! lol

coggy · 06/07/2006 22:14

BDing in heat is good MIAM!!!!

What is (or who is) the plan man????!!!! [confused emoticon]

WannaBe - I bought the Rosemary Conley magazine..her classes are based on low GI I think but I'm just looking at the suggestions in the July mag.

I'm intreged by this plan though!!!!

Hi coggy

Had at look at the RC plan (lose up to a stone in 2 weeks) looks good but you would have to buy and waste so much food. Eg one day it says thin bread next day it say thick, why can't they just make them more simple with stuff you would normally buy. - suppose it would look boring then, wouldn't it.

Anyway stayed the same this week 8 weeks till hol want to lose 7 lbs so going to aim for 1lb lose each week.

Angsthase · 07/07/2006 09:37

Plan = RC lose 1/2 a stone in 2 weeks
man = you lot

Bought the mag last night. Too many different brekkies for me - who can think that hard at 7:30 in the morning?! Will choose one and stick to it. Also going to adapt the meals so I don't have to eat pork!!yuk hate it.

All of which will probably result in me loosing no weight atall!!!! Heyho, worth a go.

Alc admission - had two glasses of wine last night.
Todays mantra: Must drink water, must drink water...

wannaBe1974 · 07/07/2006 11:14

morning all, still being good - although must drink more water. lol.

coggy · 07/07/2006 18:16

OOh...I feel a little dim Angsthase!!!
.....of course.....reading back it all makes sense now!!!!

LOL!!

Thin bread/ thick bread......I would adapt...you're right Natty it isn't practical to do that.
Adapt, adjust and overcome I say..........

Sorry to crash, but seriously, Weightwatchers is a LOT easier. No giving anything up, no following stupid menus that tell you to eat crispbreads as if it's a treat...

As I'm now resigned to putting weight on (a rather large mental adjustment), I need to live vicariously through you. I love dieting - it's so bracing!

You all have to get nice and thin for me.

coggy · 07/07/2006 19:10

I can't get used to you being Booboo!!

I will have to do some of my own adapting, adjusting etc. etc.!!!

Booboobedoo · 07/07/2006 19:23

Oops coggy! Just realised I'd changed my name and popped back to clear up any confusion.

Sorry: I'm Hopecat, for those wha are confused.

I feel weird having a different name. Think it's totemic. Will change it again when the little one comes along (keep your fingers crossed).

Anyway, this is the twiglet thread so...erm...everyone do some sit-ups.

Natty1806 · 07/07/2006 20:05

Hi Boo Boo

If you love dieting so much i think you should now become our leader and give us weekly tips and advice and in return we will tell you how much we have lost.

No fee's though.

Also don't take this the wrong way but i read somewhere that ideally you should only put 3lbs on in the first 12 weeks followed by 1lb a week, therefore making it a more gradual weight gain and only 31 lbs in total.

So maybe you could stay on here and we can make sure you are eating all you fruit and veg and only putting 1lb on a week.

coggy · 07/07/2006 21:57

Hey yes Natty - you tell her!!
No getting away from us Twiglets y'know Hopey!!

.....Urm....BooBoo!!!

I knew you changed your name cos I like keeping an eye on you!!!

Hey...I forgot to say....got something from my local Rosemary Conley class through the door today.

Do you think it's a sign??!!!!

When my AF comes (sorry - IF my AF comes!!) I think I may have to join again which actually gives me a BRILLIANT excuse for not trying so hard for the next week!!!

Whaddayathink??!!

wannaBe1974 · 08/07/2006 07:58

hello all - can't stay so haven't read all posts but just had to share - I weighed myself this morning and have lost 1 lb since Monday. Not tremendous loss and all that but it's a start. hmmm but going out to dinner tonight as it's my wedding anniversary on monday so have decided to drink only water instead of orange juice then that's a few more calories I can use ey, grin.

Natty1806 · 08/07/2006 09:14

Well done Wannabe

Coggy - did i sound bossy who am i to talk anyway i can't even lose a pound at the mo and here i am tell hopecat to only put 3 on in 12 weeks, think it is more likely for me anyway going to be 1 a week maybe2 when i get preg.

Maybe it is a sign coggy, like you say good excuse to eat crap this week as you will want to weigh the heaviest you have been so that next week you have a good weight loss.

We don't have a RC club in our area, i did go to WW for a while but everyone kept looking at me saying you don't need to be here , just because they had like 2-5 stone to lose and i only had 7-14. Still can't lose it, think i might me stuck with it forever.

Have been reading the RC mag and love the girl who is now a size 8 - which my body was like that. what a flat tummy.

Anyway off to do some toning exercises after my 30 min walk this morning.

have a nice day

Natty1806 · 08/07/2006 09:15

me 7-14 lbs - whoops

coggy · 08/07/2006 10:40

LOL at you 7 - 14 stone Natty....my mind's picture of you altered dramatically!!!!

No...not bossy at all....it's all good fun.....bossy is when you order someone back from the August thread to the July one!!!!!!

wannaBe - a pound is good Have a fab meal tonight.

well looks like dinner's going to have to be cancelled as dh is at work and they're having serious problems and he doesn't think he'll be home till late . Now I definitely have to avoid all those flakes in the fridge, and the biscuits we made on thursday, and the chocolate minni doughnuts in the fridge ... .... ... I must resist, I must resist, I must resist. But was looking forward to italian

wannaBe1974 · 08/07/2006 12:27

on the plus side I was just in asda and the woman who helped me was raving on about how healthy she is because she has a glutin free/dairy free diet and only eats meat, fruit and veg, and she was huge, lol!

Booboobedoo · 08/07/2006 12:58

Hello soon-to-be-skinnies.

I know about the ideal weight-gain, but there doesn't appear to be anything can do about it. I've gone off sweet things anyway, and am just having three good meals a day including lots of fruit and veg and no snacks.

I've just swelled up!

Think a lot of it's water-retention, but I'm not worried about pre-eclampsia as I get WR at the drop of a hat anyway, and my blood-pressure is low-normal.

Go on then, who's done the most exercise today?

Natty1806 · 08/07/2006 14:09

PSML - coggy

Shame about the WR Boo sound like you are being good though - well done. x

Angsthase · 08/07/2006 15:22

Oh buggar - was at a bbq last night and ate really healthily and drank sensibly until... someone said "lets go to this party of this german graphic designer amazonian woman I know" - come on how often do you get offers like that??

Couldn't resist and am now nursing hangover after big fat pasta with gorgonzola lunch

Oh the shame.....

coggy · 08/07/2006 15:30

Blimey....I've NEVER had an offer like that before!!!!! Sounds.......urm........interesting!!!!

BooBoo.....so you are swelling up then are you.....nasty!!!

NO exercise today....do I win anything??!!
I walked round Next and Per Una though - does that count?!

OP posts:
wannaBe1974 · 08/07/2006 15:39

exercise .... hmmm, well walked to the buss stop (about 10 minutes away) walked round asda, walked back from buss stop, haven't been on the cross trainer yet - am waiting to lose a bit more weight because last time I exercised I didn't lose anything.
