Glad u have had nice birthday queen It was my friend's 30th on Thursday, we have given her money to put towards a "Styling day" its a day with lunch where u find out what clothes/styles etc suit u best, for my 30th a couple of years ago my mates gave me a big frame filled with pics of us all in our going out days!

Back to the age gap debate, there's 4.5 years between me and my dsis and then 3.5 again before dbro came along, it worked well as I hit 12 and didn't want to play so much my sis had a 4 yr old to play with! Think this is another reason I'm glad to have waited a bit (although had enough of waiting now!)

Off to deliver pressies tomorrow to 3 baby girls that were born last week (2 friends and a cousin) hoping that cuddles with newborns shocks my ovaries in to action!

Got some cheap sensitive ic's on order so will start peeing on them probably from mon onwards (roughly 12-13dpo!)

Well................... not really sure when af is due, cycles are a bit random, last one was 31 days, (one before that was 35 days post early mc) so I'm cd28 today will be cd31 on mon or app predicts af on cd34 on thurs! think I may have ov'd on cd18/19 only going by cramps, so who really knows!!!!!!Grin

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Went out and got another First Response early result test this am (making total amount spent on tests: like £25!) and the line was nice and dark. Now the question is, do I check out of this thread and start a new one over in becoming a parent? I want to talk about the chaos of 3 kids with someone, anyone... Only know one mum with 3!

Good luck anyone testing this week. x

Another BFN for me today Sad just want AF to start now so I know where I'm up to after coil removal.

Planning on buying more expensive tests and wearing white underwear tomorrow - usually a sure fire way!!

congrats twogirls, moon and ttb! Is this your first month trying for all of you??

I think I'm going to have to come back in may/june time when (I'm hoping!) OH will be 100% behind me and we'll be ttc no.3. Signs are good, I just need to be patient! Good luck to all of you already ttc and hopefully I'll be on here soon sharing pregnancy symptoms with you! x

Moonblues YESSS!! Congratulations!! Grin Wine Thanks
That is amazing! How quick was that! I'm so happy for you! I wish you all the best, I hope you really enjoy it!
That is great! Two BFPs already on this thread, wow!
I am so excited! (anyone would think I am the one who's pregnant.)
moonblues definitely the emotional thing was a BIG one for me, so I'll be looking out for that when I start trying, IF I start trying.
I keep changing my mind it's doing my head in. Why is this happening?
Plus I'm embarassed because DH read this thread Blush
He said he found it sweet what I said BlushBlush
He doesn't seem to be hesitant at all and I wish I was feeling like him.
Also I'm taking iron at the moment due to low ferritin levels, does anyone know if it would be harmful to the baby? I've been prescribed 72mg a day by a consultant and she didn't seem to think it was a problem if I did fall pregnant, on the contrary she prescribes it to pregnant women sometimes if they are low on ferritin, but I can't help feeling a bit cautious.
Does anyone have any idea about this?

Oh my goodness, I go away for one weekend and everyone gets upduffed!!! How exciting :)
Am feeling rather gloomy as my plans for ttc in April will have to put off for a month due to inconvenient timing (clashing with new year and both dd's were early so poss Xmas). Was feeling really fed up but all this positivity makes it easier to be patient.
And hello clarey, fingers x that you will get a BFP in a couple of days.

Congrats moon and two girls. Part of me is jealous and part thinks thank god is someone else!!!!

Can you guys do a glossary of all the ttc abbreviations. Am a bit lost with what people are talking about!

Popsy, did you not bleed at all after coil removed? I haven't not one drop and am frustrated as don't know what's what!

Report
QueenofClean · 11/02/2013 06:34

Well I tested and got a bfn. Will test again if i'm late but think AF will show her face so I expect it now.

BFN = Big Fat Negative
BFP = Big Fat Positive
POAS = Peeing on a stick
2WW= 2 Week Wait
AF/The Witch = Auntie Flo

Sorry Queen about your BFN, but at least you're only 30 so you can afford to lose a few months.
Especially the fact that you've only just started TTC.

sorry to hear of your bfn queen. Im sure that alot of us will be GrinGrin with joy at christmas time though when we are holding our new little bundles of joy being very presumptuous that we will have a good old shagfest and get our bfps within the next 2 months
im already getting broody over things like moses baskets and trying VERY hard not to pick bits up convincing myself that they will come in handy for when babes 3 arrives! (not preg at mo might i add!) just my bonkers side kicking in Grin

Smile offers a baby dust shower for us all to bask in cos hopefully this next 2weeks (for those of us with af) will be when it will be magic for us and do its job! best of luck ladies

Hi toffee. Agree iron supplements are totally fine. I've just been taking folic acid, but now wondering if I should be taking other stuff as well... Does anyone have advice? Should I be taking vit D too?
Sorry fairy that you're going to have to put off TTC for a bit. hopefully there will be a January baby for you.
