I hope nobody else has started a May conception thread; April isn't going to be it for me, so onwards and forwards ladies!

Trace - Do you think that perhaps it was your body getting ready to ovulate but it just didnt that time? I Dont know if thats possible.

trace are you being monitored at all while you're on the chlomid? I don't know an awful lot about it, but surely they shouldn't just write you out a prescription and send you on your way to hopefully get pregnant without doing bloods to see if the drugs are actually working?

Well I've just returned from gp, saw different gp this time, but she's still not ruling out pg. She said that I need to take in a urine sample for a pg test, also they're going to check my bloodagain for thyroid, to make sure it's not underactive, I had an over active thyroid 12 years ago and my last test did show that my rhyroid levels were ok but she does want to check those again, she said that if thyroid is normal and if the pg test is neg then she'll send me for an ultrasound sooner rather than later.

so got apt for blood test on thursday and then will have to wait another week or so for the result but hopefully we're getting somewhere now.

yes i am having bloods done on day 21, but i wont find out results until july

Hi all well I'm off to the june thread as I got my AF late last night.
I'm still not feeling top class and have had another day off however have to go in tomorrow as My NN rang and said she is not in either as she has got her BFP! Its great news for her, but she has been signed off for a week due to the slapped cheek, so goodness knows how my class has been today!

wannabe hope you are feeling ok - - can you ask them to do an ultrasound? then you would know for sure if you are / arent?

I'm still here too - tend to be more a silent observer than a contributer! AF not due until a week tomorrow (and even then, since it is 1st month off the pill it might not have come back properly yet). I have had tender boobs the last week and am trying not to read anything at all into it so I don't set myself up for disappointment. So hanging in there with the rest of you ...

Hey ladies - crashing this thread to say hello. Been on the June thread, but actually AF is due at the end of May, so you never know.

Wannabe - glad your GP was more proactive this time. I've been telling my DH about you, and he's keeping his fingers crossed for you too!

Having trouble fitting the BDing in this month as it's a busy one for both of us at work, but we're managing.

I am indeed hedging my bets Coggy. Think that being on 2 conception threads at once will double my luck - it's the only logical course.

Mind you, even if AF doesn't arrive when she's supposed to, I still won't test 'til June. It's my cast-iron self-control you see.

Am already eating bar of Green & Blacks and it's only lunch-time - that's how much self-control I have.

I had high hopes for you and me this month.
I am also feeling pre-menst. and have crampy lower tummy-ache. Sad
I'm only CD24 of a usual 28(ish)cycle.
This clomid is supposed to lenthen my cycle and yet all three of us (you, me and Rachee) have all had really short ones this month.

I feel disheartened....

AF arived properly today. Had had uncomfy heavy boobs for 2 weeks so was feeling ever so slightly hopeful even though bd'ed quite early before ovulation. But no, not to be. Off to find June thread. God its hard this isn't it!

Had first real af after depo 14th april but bleed for over 20 days.

Feeling naueous and very sore boobs, not like before af.

So dont really know

A test will surley sort me out!!!

I keep thinking that Trace...I am such a positive, hopeful person!!! But every now and then I think that it is just wishful thinking.
The cramps have gone on for several days and I can't find any books that say it could be a symptom!!
Still...it's not over til the old AF sings Wink

yes we are hanging in there, ive had nothing since yesterday, going away to morrow night, only for a week, so hold off testing if you have no af please, then if i dont get af we can test togetherGrin
