Thanks for the kind thoughts guys.
And two BFPs. Congratulations Zombie and Mother.
Well, these things happen in threes ...............

Pipbin · 20/12/2012 00:07

Sorry, MrsMustard, not mother.

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 20/12/2012 00:11

pip, bunny and mother - rooting for you!!! Xmas Smile

MeanMrsMustard · 20/12/2012 07:20

Thank you everyone! I'm still getting my head around it. I kept getting the pregnancy test out of the bin to look at Blush . Obviously it's early days - AF was due on Tuesday I think. but fingers crossed.
It's so great to be able to announce It on here. I'm already desperate to tell RL people so this helps ease that a little. I will always be crap at secrets though!

Fingers crossed for pip and mother. bunny, I really thought I had missed my chance this month - only dtd twice and quite early. So hopefully all not lost for you?

BottleRed76 · 20/12/2012 07:24

Seeing as things were getting too happy on here with all the good news....

I'm off to hospital this morning for bloods. Had a bit of browny stuff last night which normally heralds start of AF. I can't tell if I'm twinging any more than before because I'm so over sensitive to every feeling. Can't tell what's real or in my head. Constant boob poking to check they're still tender and not sure they are.
I know this could be an implantation bleed but first MC started like this.

Trying to find positive - if it is MC, then I'll now get a referral to recurrent MC unit.
Really thought we were going to be lucky this time.

Expecting worst so can't get dissapointed....

MotherOfCleo · 20/12/2012 07:32

thinking of you bottle really hope its good news and not bad. fx! xx

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 20/12/2012 08:21

Hoping it's a false alarm bottle. Hugs.

janey1234 · 20/12/2012 09:52

Mustard - massive congrats Smile

Bottle red - everything crossed it's a false alarm. Thinking of you.x

Non ttc/pg news: bloody monkeys nicked my camera this morning. A whole gang of them chased DP and I off the balcony and stole it, dropped it, tried to eat it, and then disappeared into the trees with it. Gutted. All my pics from Dubai and Thailand gone Sad

Hey Ho.

HazleNutt · 20/12/2012 10:03

Bottle, could be nothing, fx for you!

Janey oh those monkeys are evil in Thailand! I'm pretty sure at least some of them have been trained to steal.

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 20/12/2012 10:07

Are twinges normal? Low grade stomach pain on the sides?

janey1234 · 20/12/2012 10:39

Very much so early doors in my experience zombies. It's stretching - already - apparently. Mine was like a stitch from day before AF due to a couple of weeks after. Really quite painful at times, even when sitting still, and quite unlike any other pains. Odd feeling IME, but nothing to worry about Smile

BottleRed76 · 20/12/2012 11:27

God I love my local hospital! The Nurses on Gynae are always bloody brilliant!

Some more pinky brown stuff (TMI) when I got to hospital so I assumed it was game over. Nurse did bloods which I have to call back for in a couple of hours, but she also took swabs and thinks It may be a slight infection. She said my cervix is closed and no sign of any blood coming through it. AIR PUNCH! TMI?
So depending on HCG levels, I'll go back for bloods again Saturday and Monday to see if they are going up as they should. Fx
Had a quick chat about sticky blood as well, which was nice as due to timing of last MCs I have a suspicion that may have been a possible cause....

MrsMustard Brilliant news! Well done for holding off testing until after AF date. That is some will power!!! I never manage it!!

Zombie From all the info I've read - Yes, twinges and even period pains can be completely normal. It seems that symptoms to be concerned about is if it gets very painful and concentrates to one side, or is accompanied by bleeding.

Janey Bad Monkey!!! How bloody annoying!!

janey1234 · 20/12/2012 11:42

Oh bottle that sounds good... Fx hormones rise as they should Smile

Purplemonster · 20/12/2012 11:47

Fingers crossed bottle, I had some similar browny bleeding a couple of times early on but nothing much since so I'm hoping you will be ok. Zombie, I had TERRIBLE almost constant twinges and cramps some of which were really painful but they passed by about 6/7 weeks so I don't think it's anything out of the ordinary.
My scan is at 2.45 today, didn't sleep, I know I should be excited but I'm just scared Sad can't wait for it to be over so I know either way, the waiting is killing me. I'll let you all know how it went as soon as I get home.

janey1234 · 20/12/2012 11:50

Oh purple I didn't realise it was today. GOOD LUCK - will be thinking if you. Fingers crossed for good news for you x

BottleRed76 · 20/12/2012 11:57

Purple Good Luck! x

Purplemonster · 20/12/2012 12:15

Thanks guys! I'm just sitting at work gnawing my fingernails to the knuckle fretting about so it's really helping knowing you're out there cheering me on, thanks!

HazleNutt · 20/12/2012 13:18

And we want to be updated ASAP!

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 20/12/2012 13:32

Check out the comments from two ladies Emily and Aruna. Their bosses sound like bosses from hell. In this country they could throw the book at them. link

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 20/12/2012 15:01

Hope purple's scan is going well!

HazleNutt · 20/12/2012 15:07

Well, can I just warn you that if you don't want the whole world to know about the pregnancy yet, do not tell anybody. Tell one colleague and the whole company knows in about 5 seconds. Angry

Had to tell my boss now as well and I was certainly not planning to do it before January - we're in the middle of a massive deal that needs to be closed this year and a colleague from my small department just resigned, so honestly, the worst possible time to come out with my announcement. She took it reasonalby well though. Must be the shock.

janey1234 · 20/12/2012 15:12

Grrrr why do people feel it's their bloody news to spread? I'm sick of being asked due to the boobage situation - the main culprit has two children of his own so must remember how stressful it was for his wife to keep it secret, so his knows why he kept trying to out me. One of the best things about all my dec hol has been the whole avoiding work and Xmas drinking - such a relief.
Glad your boss was ok hazle.
Yep hoping it's going ok for purple too...

janey1234 · 20/12/2012 15:13

His knows = god knows!

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 20/12/2012 15:26

janey what a jerk!
hazle can't anyone respect the concept of secrets anymore?

BelissimaLol · 20/12/2012 18:04
