POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).

Been in similar situations myself and in hindsight, it might've been worth having a little word ( just to set the 'don't fuck with me' record straight) . Now people I know that sticks are forbidden but or those who use them, how long do u wait for a result?? Ov sticks I mean not hpt. I've done one and the line was darker, much darker than the control....but I left it for about an hour cos I forgot it.... Tomorrow is my girlfriends' and my annual pilgrimage to the outlet mall in middle-of-nowhere, NY for marathon Christmas shopping. We take this very seriously, with a favored route (heavy items first, then move the car to the other end of the parking lot) and strategically planned meal and coffee breaks. Hoping to get a few nice things for myself and maybe some gifts for other people as well. It's going to be damn cold, so we'll have to move swiftly. Sunday is house cleaning and possibly holiday decorating! And, even at just 4 and 5 days post, twitching at every boob itch....

I'm roughly 3dpo and have woken up feeling like someone's tried to twist my left boob off. WTF?? My three year old spent the night without a nappy and stayed dry, yay!! Potty training is my least favourite process.

So anyway, like I said it HAD to happen last night...,, I was exhausted and fell asleep at 9pm. But when we actually went to bed, DP made all the necessary moves, saying 'you keep saying we're making babies but you're not getting it on!' So that's positive, lol.... But I think (tmi coming up) because I wasn't really 'up for it' to start with it wasn't so easy. Dp ended up using good old saliva to sort the problem despite me saying he's killing the fishies! Lol. Anyone know if this is true, should I invest in some of the fish friendly stuff?? He said no, but if it helps?? Oh his I'm breaking Ll the Fred rules!!! Anyhooo fx for more of the same tonight. ;)

Well, in Bear World ERTD ended up lasting 11 days - so thinking I had a chemical pg. Can't say that fo sho as never got a BFP but I definitely felt different earlier in the month when I felt sick and stuff. Going to see the docs on Monday so will ask then what they think although I may be met with a blank stare It is possible to have a chem pg without a BFP apparently and this has only happened to me once before in March this year. Anyway, that aside, I am back in the saddle again. Trying to use OPKS but not always remembering to do it Shhhhhh - don't tell anyone.

Saw my friend who has got pg first time with both her DS and current 7 months pregnancy. She mentioned it yesterday and although I know she wasn't being insensitive, because she just dropped it into convo and didn't know I'm TTC, it still grated a little.

Also, had a real moment the other day when my SIL asked in front of my whole family at dinner when my DH and I would be having babies because apparently her DC 'wants a cousin'. I spoke to my mum about it later who said, 'You just laughed - why didn't you say anything?' but I didn't want to spoil the atmos. I had real rage inside though, as this is someone who has had several miscarriages and was TTC for about 3 years. You would think therefore that she would be even more sensitive to other people. I've come to the conclusion she's either stupid as, or a total b*tch. Can't decide which.

Also, was chuckling lots at your one-liners from OHs in order to initiate DTD. Not sure I have anything to add that I want to put on here IYKWIM. Will have a think and see if anything is suitable!

Potentially. You may still have a couple of days, but it is best to DTD before OV.

But there's been no other signs, no cm, no pain no nothing like normal!!:-/ I really wanted to go for it with ov this month. Oh well.

Frog Thanks for the little cheer for my DS.lol. I'd say yesterday and today were the last chances this cycle. Your contraband item seems to have suggested ov within the last 24hours and eggs are only viable for 24hrs maximum (some are only 12)
