Fred rules;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Mice poo in the living room now, the upside is we're palming DS off on relative most of next week to give the place a clean (and exterminate) so hoping I'm still fertile(ish) then, if not we'll practise JS.

GaryBusey, we had a mouse problem last year and we got one of those plug in things that emit some kind of offputting signal to rodents. I was sceptical, and it took awhile (resident mice don't leave if they have a nest, so you have to wait for the babies to grow up), but they eventually went away and never came back. It might even help to persuade visiting mice to leave.

Day 35 in the big shagging house. 15 DPO according to app, maybe a bit less than that according to me, boobs a bit less sore but no sign of AF yet. I have no way of procuring a pregnancy test until Sunday so just have to be patient, a skill I do not possess.

I have and have switched off work emails for the weekend. It's our village Christmas Fair tomorrow so we are off to see what delights that holds then a visit to our local (with dog in tow). Can't wait. Had a really stressful week at work but finally feel caught up.

Sorry to all I have missed, will try to post more this weekend and catch up properly.

Well after 40-something days post MC my ERTD finally showed up yesterday, so here I am on CD2 again. Quite relieved really, especially as it should be out the way in time for dirty anniversary weekend next weekend!

I must admit, though I am most pissed off that this month's epic shagging did not result in another pg, a lot of fun was had along the way

im sure somewhere i said all symptoms have dissapeared. ....yes, and now replaced with more symptoms but im 99% sure they are af related :-/
im crampy and windy typical of af, the bitch.
Although ....this is first cycle after 5 years of pill so im thinking that with ov on predicted day and af right on cue today at 14dpo (btw i did test this am, bfn).....i seem to have returned back to a textbook cycle. not all bad.

Thanks guys - tested at about 4am today. Was wide awake for about two hours in the middle of the night and felt really, really sick, so thought I'd better find out for sure and got a big fat BFN. But I was due yesterday and still no sign of actual ERTD. Never felt sick with it before, but I've had some back ache. Quite confused now. Thought my cycle had settled down into 28 days but no, it's decided to do whatever it likes again. I hate being in limbo. I want things to happen one way or the other so at least you can then deal with it. Argghh. Still feel on and off sick. It can't be food poisoning though as I cooked it all and it was fresh and DH is okay. Very confused and a bit that body won't sort itself out.

Oh, hello ERTD :(

Hello everyone! Was back from my holiday earlier this week but its taken me this long to catch up! You lot write loads!

ERTD didn't show up on holiday and I thought I had loads of symptoms so I Poased when I got home and it was a bfn. Ertd turned up next day. Gutted.

Ok ok, so I (the self-confessed Anti POAS patrol ) gave in at 2 days late today & POAS'd shamefaced

Wish I hadn't. DH & I got a pack of 3 cheapies...from £land of all places so dunno what I expected. They're the kind that you PIAR rather than OAS & dip it in. Immediate dark single line so I figured game over. But 2 mins later came up with a 2nd, considerably fainter but still def there.

So now I'm in limbo til the morning to try again with a half decent test. Hmmmph.

Boy, you have considerably more will power than me. Would have about twenty tests in my Tesco trolley by now...

Annoyed.com. Been thinking friday night probably last chance to js this month, then h2b decides to be a twat and have stupid argument just before bed. I did not want to as he was being a shit but i put on squeezem up bra a sexy chemise to js. He is obviously thrilled that he is apparently in the right as i have succombed like a good wifey. We get to the crucial moment and he takes it out and (ahem) does it on my boobs!!!! Soooooooo angry still. Feel utterly stupid and duped. Still going to try later though then give him hell for last night once i get what i want up there. Ha ha.

Back from the conference and catching up here.

rock I am late to this piece of conversation but I wanted to say thanks for your refreshing honesty. I can relate to all of you and I enjoy being here because of it. It?s easy to overthink things. Like boy referenced, I oft worry that I won?t have the same maternal instinct that other women seem to have ? the ones that adored being pregnant and seem to know exactly what to do when their child is screaming, or crying, or vomiting a la the Exorcist. (Though in reality, I?m sure it?s difficult for all women.) World -- yup. If I didn?t have finite resources, I might have postponed TTC a little bit longer, too!

But at the end of the day, the idea of becoming a parent excites me more than terrifies me. There were tons of babies at the airport and on my planes this week, and they didn?t annoy me! Even the fussy ones! Huge 180.

Frog isn?t it so reassuring to get that kind of reaction from DP? My DH was a bit skittish at first but now has totally embraced the process. It has calmed me down considerably since I know we?re in it together.

Sorry about ERTD, retro and country. We will all be waving around our BFPs soon. We all will. I just know it.

Time of day is not really that important. The difference is fractional and think about it: hcg increases all the time so in theory ought to get darker as the day goes on. But I get excited very easily so would have emptied the local chemist of sticks and be carefully comparing them. Mind you, when I got my bfp for ds I think it took something like 10 poas PLUS bloods for me to properly believe it! Fx for you.
