Having recommended this fab little gadget for everyone ttc I wonder whether everyone who has now got one wants to join a thread and keep each other posted on our fern days etc?!

About me: Am ttc db2 but still bfeeding dd (9mths) about once a day. No af since giving birth so no idea if ovulating etc but have just started using my isis scope :o

I don't think you do. I'm just getting blood tests every month until they show something useful.

Been away for the weekend without DH so no BD opportunities. feeling rather stressed and very tearful, so wonder if AF is on the way. I'll keep licking the scope and let you know.

I've had my scope for about a month now (I think), started licking as soon as it came but then thought maybe I should wait for beginning of next cycle!!! I also licked the wrong side to start with Blush. Am now worried, being the negative type that I am, that I'm not going to get ferns at all and won't be ov'ing. Had m/c in December and not sure how long things will take to settle down. I think I know when I'm ov'ing anyway, get quite a lot of cm (TMI!!)but we'll see this month with the scope if I'm right. Lots of luck to everyone!!

Thanks teacups :-) Bobblhead - you have to remove the lens and lick the flat side, wait for it to dry for about 10 mins, then replace lens and look at it!
Mine came with a great leaflet so if yours didn;t let me know and i can email you a copy!
Good luck MrsBilly - i'm sure you will get some ferns - you have more chance than us lot who are still bfeeding anyway :-)

No frens for meSad. Hope I did it right! My leaflet said to use finger to put on sublingual saliva- sorry for being thick but where is sublingual from?! I think I will just lick it next time sounds a bit easier!

bobblehead - sub lingual means under the tongue so i think you need to use that saliva

Buffy i ordered mine about 2 weeks ago, it still has'nt come, so im gonna ask them for a refund now.

I then ordered another one from ebay, which come within 4 day's. Hope your's does'nt take that long ,maybe mine got lost in the post some where.

Bloomin heck day 7 and I've got something that looks very like ferns!!!!!!
Dp home tonight aftr working away...
I usually get ov pains on day 14 of ym cycle
Am astonised to think could be fertile so early in cycle - bleed only just stopped spotting yesterday! We'd never normally embark on nookie before day 10!!!

Piffle - you do get transition ferns as your fertile period begins - mix of spots and ferns together. Your peak fertilty and prob ovulation will be only ferns and very strong obvious ones! Your Dp will think xmas is early if you start now!! :o

I gave in and bfed dd this morning. Her little ecstatic face was worth knowing af will be even longer to return. Have decided to be grateful for the gorgeous baby i already have and stop getting so obsessed with being currently infertile :)

I'm temping as well, with proper bbt for the first time, its a pain in the ass...
Temp all over the show!!!!!!!!!
It's fine ferns, with ne or two dots
So will be interesting over next few days to spot a pattern!

Me too RubymummySmile (although deep down I'm yearning). I am working on stopping the night feeds, but will do as much during the day as she wants. I will just keep an eye on things just now (such as ferning and cm!) and hope to get some results when she turns 1- which is only just over 2 months away!Shock

got mine today!postie put it through the door as we were at the hospital with dd.bloody dog ripped the packet open,has eaten the two free preg tests and is now feeling sorry for himself as hes been banished to the garden!little sod!!pleased to say that he hasnt damaged the scope!

Have you had a lick yet bobblehead? I had trouble waiting for a 2 hour window without eating or drinking to try mine out. Eventually did but no ferns for about 2 weeksSad. Think am about to have AF so will start again at the weekend.

I have been doing mine first thing Teacups as I'm sure I never go that long without eatingGrin.
No ferns for me thoughSad. Actually my saliva looks very 'clean', there are just a few blobs there- is that normal? In the diagram it looks like there is more to look at, hope I'm doing it right.
Have cut out a night feed last couple of nights so if I can keep it up maybe see ferns soon (but thats a big if as I really like my sleep and dd really likes her nighttime feeds!)

Anyone else ferning?

I'm on day 10 and on 3rd day of ferns Shock
Yesterdya was more ferns than the day before tody is LOADED. seems o early for me
Have been ahem, using my window of opportunity a LOT
You can argue the theory that sperm motility improves every 48 hrs so bd every 2 days - this theory has proved PANTS for us!
Or you can throw 60 million plus 30 million at an egg every day and hope like hell just one cracks it Grin
