oinker · 31/05/2006 09:45

That's good news nadine. Smile
Things are slowly getting back to normal.Smile

oinker · 01/06/2006 15:51

Went to work today. What a LOB!!!!!

Got the usuall..'Oh..You're Back!'
I was not expected. I have to be seen be Occupational health and HR before being allowed to do anything. Well, gues what? Neither were in today!!! I sat there for 3 hrs going thru emails and chatting. I finally had enough at 12:15 and left to come home.

Just to add insult to injury.....No sod watered my plants and HQ have blocked us using certain web sites and MN is one of them!!!!

babyfettle · 01/06/2006 21:29

Annoying isn't Oinker - our head office has just banned access to certain websites, MN being one of them!Angry

Anyway, sorry been so quiet recently, been really busy at work and wallowing in self-pity about how unfair life is at the mo, that I didn't think I'd be a very positive influence to the thread!!

On CD26 and don't think ovulated yet, so not sure that it is going to happen this cycle, but keep hanging on the fact that I ovulated on CD25 when I conceived DD, so only a couple of days different so far! Anyway, going to a wedding on Saturday, so going to enjoy myself! Anyway, finger's crossed it might still happen, and still have 3.5 weeks left with DH before he goes.Smile

babyfettle · 01/06/2006 21:31

Blimey, 3 "anyway"s - definitely bit stressed at mo Grin!!

weewilliewinkie · 02/06/2006 14:21

hi everyone,

quiet here again, isn't it? well I thought that I had no chance to try this month since DH went away on CD12 and isn't back till Sunday CD17, but according to my temps I obv'd on CD11. So here I go again, another 2 week bloody wait. I was really pleased about not having to think about it this month! And now I have that glimmer of hope yet again.....oh bugger it.

how is everyone on this sunny day? Smile

ruthlouise · 02/06/2006 14:50

Hi WWW (and everyone else Smile)

My goodness what a lot has happened whilst we were away. Had a lovely time, was 36 degrees in Cyprus so have been freezing since our return!

Congratulations Bobbynog!

Oinker - So sorry, can't believe how appallingly you were treated on your return to work Sad. What field do you work in? I hope things improve for you. (((hugs)))

Really don't know where I am in my cycle. Last month I OV'd on 3rd/4th May, had spotting on 11th May and my first AF on 14th May so was expecting to OV around 28th May but I got loads EWCM on 24th May decided I'd better start using OV test sticks etc but never got positive so think I may have OV'd early on day 10 (sounds like you WWW). So I think I'm on 2 week wait bit don't hold out much hope as we didn't BD on what was probably the best days. I guess AF would be due on about 7th June? DH and I are having some differences at the mo so might end up being last attempt for the present time Sad

I return to work next Wednesday so AF would be the last thing I need on that day but I'm lucky that my colleagues have missed me and are looking forward to my return (benefit of working in the caring profession!)

Lovely and sunny here - hope it is wherever you are Smile

oinker · 03/06/2006 09:41

Things got better at work.......

Saw the Occupational health lady......

I was talking about my situation and whilst doing so noticed she was really clued up on everything.....Urmmmmmmmmmmm...i thought this was too good to be true. She even knew about Lesley Regan and her works... After about an hour I questioned her regarding this and she admitted she had been seen by the Prof about 8yrs ago regarding recurrent m/c....
What a releif I finally have someone at work sympathetic and understanding. I cried when she told me....What releif....
I have been placed on reduced hours for at least 10 weeks and until the hospital decide what they are doing with me. Re: Ops etc.....
I am now just looking forward to Tuesdays appointment.

ruthlouise · 04/06/2006 22:17

Oh Oinker, so glad you finally found someone who can empathise with you. It makes you feel so much better knowing someone understands doesn't it? Reduced hours sounds good too. You certainly sound like you need them as respite from your work colleagues. It'l be payback time when they're working whilst you are enjoying the summer sun!

Angsthase · 05/06/2006 10:00

Just wanted to wish you luck for tomorrow Oinker. Hope they come up with a plan that works for you.

AF arrived Sat, so looks like body is getting back to normal.

Hopefully now the sun has finally started to shine it'll give me a boost of energy. Been feeling grumpy and low for long enough.

Bring on more sun SmileSmileSmile

oinker · 05/06/2006 14:09

Angsthase.

So glad all is getting back to normal.

Thanks for the thought.....Smile I am getting a little nervous. Not sure why? I think it's the fear of being told to give up. Sad

bobbynog · 05/06/2006 14:28

I'm Back - thanks for all your messages. I think i am still in a state of shock - i am trying really hard not to think and plan too much. I will try to get an appointment with the doc next week, and beg for an early scan. When i had the eprc, the woman in the next bed said to pretend i had some spotting, then they would scan me - but that seems to be tempting fate.
Am i banned from the thread yet, or can i loiter for a little while?
Wishing you all loads of luck
xxx

oinker · 05/06/2006 14:40

Bobbynog.........

It is so natural to be cautious. If you want to have a scan at the EPU that is the only way to really do it.. It sounds naughty but if it's going to put your mind at rest do it... Stress and worrying about it is worse....

Go to your GP and fib...Just make sure to keep something crossed whilst doing it. Smile

oinker · 05/06/2006 14:41

Oh, keep loitering.....

It sort of gives the rest of us some hope.
Smile

Piffle · 05/06/2006 14:54

Another lurker here - dipping in again as I head through the 2ww... The worst time.
Not sure about this month, pretty sure I ov'd although fertility software says no! Got the ov pains and ewcm though as per usual. Am temping as well
Hope all is well and look forard to a load of bfps while I sit out my 2 weeks!

time4tea · 05/06/2006 18:05

hello all

Oinker, glad you found someone helpful at work, its amazing how many links mc brings. I was talking to the priest at my local church about the mc and feeling low afterwards (something I had seen recommended but thought might be a bit of a risk, in case the priest didn't get it - even more upsetting) but in fact he had been the priest at St Mary's Paddington for a while and spoken to lots of women in our situation and he was really understanding and supportive. Today I met a colleague who had a mc and like me found out at the 12 week scan, she is pregnant again (24 wks) and all is well. She said she got pregnant the month after the mc - and had been told the ERPC actually can help conception, it clears the uterus entirely and stimulates hormones. This really gave me some hope.

Angthase - I had my first period while I was on hols 2 weeks ago, now approaching ov - I thought it was scary to start ttc again, but it feels great to be getting back to normal.

Bobbynog - just ask for an early scan, I really think you should feel entitled to the reassurance. At the EPU I'm at, they offer it from 7 weeks in subsequent pregnancies just for reassurance. its completely inhumane to deny it to you.

good luck all

time4tea · 05/06/2006 18:07

sorry for long post, worried it reads a bit tediously Blush really glad to have this possibility for communication

Angsthase · 05/06/2006 19:05

time4tea - not tedious atall! I'm just behind you then. I plan to ttc this month, but am kind of not too fussed as I don't know how likely it is. Maybe we'll both get lucky {wink]Grin

Oinker, I'm sure it'll all be fine tomorrow, if they've sort of identified the problem anyway, they must have an idea to help you. Anyway, lots of things crossed for you. xxx

Bobyynog - when I had my ERPC the EPU said I could ask for an early scan. I think if you tell your gp that he should refer you. Good luck Smile

babyfettle · 05/06/2006 19:20

Hello All!

Welcome back Bobbynog - hope holiday was good! I really hope they give you an early scan for reassurance. They would be pretty heartless not to (at least I'm hoping, if and when I next conceive they let me have one, or else I'll spend the 1st 12 weeks worrying is everything alright, which has to be counter-productive).

Good luck tomorrow Oinker, hope all goes well.

I think I'll join you on the 2 ww, Piffle & WWW. At least I think I will as my temps have been up for last 4 days, so we'll see what happens over next week or so. Trying not to think about it too much, but it's hard not to, isn't it?

oinker · 05/06/2006 19:42

Though I am glad I have finally got to the appointment date I am not looking forward to the proding about etc tom. Sad
It's going to be a long day....got a uterus and womb scan...Then chat with doctor..then bloods and then a biopsy from womb.. They have told us to expect to be there from 0930 to 1400hrs. I hope we get a lunch hour in between !!!!

It'll be worth it, I hope. Smile

Fortunatley I am not superstitious...
It's....06/06/06 tom... Shock Shock Wink

time4tea · 05/06/2006 21:18

oinker

treat yourself to a lovely dinner after all your appointments, and a few big glasses of wine! dealing with every step on this path is a real achievement.

will be thinking of you tmrw.

and thanks Angthase Smile glad to know I'm not too blahblahblah

rubles · 06/06/2006 11:52

Hi all, I just thought I would post something here to bump this thread up.

I am ov'ing today, I think. Had a mammoth 6 days with very fertile cf and did and opk yesterday which was positive so today is the day I guess, if it is happening at all which I suppose it may not be. (I wonder if the starflower oil and grapefruit juice are the reason for the cf by the way??)

Oinker - I hope it goes well today. It sounds very gruelling but thorough.

All those on your 2ww - my sympathies, it's agony, although I'll be joining you too.

Bobbynog - go get yourself a scan. When/if I get pregnant again I will certainly ask for an early scan, you'll be a bag of nerves otherwise.

What a lovely day it is today.

weewilliewinkie · 06/06/2006 14:37

Hi everyone,

nice to see so many new messages!

Oinker - I'll be thinking of you. Hope you get some answers.

Bobbynog - absolutley force them into giving you an early scan. Surely they can't refuse a pregnant woman! You need the peace of mind to help you relax and enjoy this pregnancy. My midwife told me that I'd go for one at 6 weeks when I got pregnant again, and then have much more regular ones. But I am in Germany, and you do tend to get scanned lots here.

Rubles - know what you mean about the grapefruit juice - kind of makes you 'out of control', iykwim! I guess that means you're making a lovely fertile environment!

My temps chart change my ov date to cd14 rather than cd 12, so whilst I am on the 2ww, i'm holding out Very little hope this time. We last bd'd late on cd11. I'm trying not to think too much about it this month. Can't be bothered for another disappointment, so at least I know there's little chance this month. Good luck to everyone else though - time for another BFP, methinks!!

Piffle · 06/06/2006 14:45

Another message for Oinker, hoping it went ok.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

weewilliewinkie · 06/06/2006 14:58
