Lol golden you make me smile. Ewcm is def the right consistency theres just very little of it. Monitor now reading high for 8 consecutive days on cd24 now and temps as erratic as ever but no significant hikes, so posituve there has been no ovulation. Ah well...on the plus side me and OH have an empty house for the weekend...just us and the hound.
Hope all you lovely ladies have a fantastic weekend x

goldengirl71 · 29/09/2012 09:27

I don't think I have ovulated. Look: www.fertilityfriend.com/home/goldengirl71. Days 15, 16 & 17 are high temperatures, I think, because they were taken very late morning after being interrupted all night by the kitten (this is why they are white circles). As soon as I have managed to return to 8am waking times, yesterday and today, the temps look rubbish. Can anyone help, please? Sad

littlepinkfizz · 29/09/2012 10:08

tina that is wonderful news .You must be sooo excited! Keep calm!

Poor gum I have a year 8 dd and I said to her yesterday that I felt sorry for her teachers as there are 33 of the monsters in her class. Would drive a body to cheesecake...

calibee any ewcm must be a good sign. Keep Dtd!

Now on cd 17 and got a smiley this morning!! So excited.....however DP very tired and has work to do today. Will send him to bed shortly for a sleep then try to accost him later.. it's difficult when he has these erectile problems and the window of fertility in each month is so small. Keep those fingers and toes crossed for us please x

Have a lovely weekend eveyone Thanks

littlepinkfizz · 29/09/2012 10:10

Sorry golden I am a newcomer to all this monitoring so am useless to you. But some of these lovely girls will be able to shed some light on it for you,I'm sure. Try to enjoy your weekend with your mum x

CaliBee · 29/09/2012 20:05

Hmmm....golden I have to say that I am swayed to thinking you did maybe ov on cd16. Even though you have disregarded the temps after this date due to naughty kitten (lol gotta lovem) your temps still remain elevated in a typical biphasic pattern.
Goodluck in waking DP Pink...excited for your smiley face :)

littlepinkfizz · 29/09/2012 20:27

If I got my smiley today then when is 1st DPO?? Already counting the 2ww!

goldengirl71 · 29/09/2012 20:35

Calibee, do you mean CD14? Please tell me you mean CD14!

goldengirl71 · 29/09/2012 20:39

Pink, depending on what you read your smiley (ie your LH surge) indicates you will ovulate in the following 12-48 hours (some say 12-36 hours, others 24-36 hours). Only charting your temps will confirm the exact date of ovulation. Without temping you cannot be sure what DPO you are. Sorry!

goldengirl71 · 29/09/2012 20:49

Somewhere, what do you mean you 'have no right to be on this thread'? On the contrary, I think you have no right to get upduffed and bugger off back to where you came from without a backward glance Wink Please stay. We don't need to talk about babies; there are lots more Stanley Kubrick movie locations we need to debate.

Mrs. Gum, glad you had a good time at your soireé. Did someone spike your drink? Wink Your year 8s have reminded me of the reason I got out of teaching. That, and the fact that I could no longer tolerate this pathetic excuse of an education system we have over here (unless you can afford to educate your children privately, but do not get me started on the class system..)

Pink, do try to have sex tonight or tomorrow at the latest. Ask DP to take his pill. Just do it...

goldengirl71 · 29/09/2012 20:51

Sorry, I have come across as a little bossy and abrupt. I am missing DP and Little Ted terribly Sad and I am worried I have not ovulated Sad

littlepinkfizz · 29/09/2012 21:29

Don't worry golden miaow from ted!

Managed to Dtd this afternoon when ds having his nap, without need for tablet and was initiated by DP with no mention from me- even better! So happy for DP, bless him. Hoping that will be enough as not likely to happen again within next 36 hours. Also Dtd Wednesday but unlikely that the swimmers would stay around long enough to do the trick. Anyway I'm hopeful- I have to be, being optimistic and happy by nature.

goldengirl71 · 29/09/2012 21:40

Ah, Pink, bravo! And well done your ace DP. You have done a great job with excellent timing, if you ask me. A little weirdly, I feel like a proud mum at sports day Hmm

littlepinkfizz · 30/09/2012 08:17

Aw golden your the best! I'm so glad there is someone else here who has a DP with same problems as mine. It's very difficult all round and they need lots of love and patience . Hopefully golden we will get BFPs in October.
Hope your enjoying your stay with your mum and not metalling too much x

CaliBee · 30/09/2012 08:51

golden cd16 was the first day your temp rose above the highest of the normal fluctuations of the previous weeks readings. But I am definately no expert on this.....I do confess to being a geek though and doing the chart taking course on fertility friend hehehe. Does FF say anything in its analysis??
Low mood for me today...feeling fat and gloomy this Sunday morning. Oh still in bed...hound gone back to bed so its just me and me coffee (yes I still have proper caffeinated coffee first thing!!)
Have a lovely day ladies x

TinaO99 · 30/09/2012 11:48

well i had two embryos transferred successfully yesterday so its a question of wait and see now. Feeling a bit sad though as the other two embryos deteriorated so we have none to freeze this means this is our last chance so we have to hope it works we cant afford another go :-(

CaliBee · 30/09/2012 13:45

Ooooo Tina.....lots and lots of luck to you x

goldengirl71 · 30/09/2012 17:20

Hiya girls. Calibee, thanks for looking at my chart. I do believe, despite the vagaries in temp times, CD15 shows a significant shift in temperature which is likely to be higher than the previous six, so that would indicate ovulation did indeed take place on CD14. That's my story, anyway, and Im sticking to it. What does anyone else think, please?

Tina, glad yesterday went well. I'm sorry there is the added pressure of knowing this is last chance saloon. Crumbs. How does any woman prepare herself for this not working out? I fervently hope this ends in joy for you, love, I really do x

I'm feeling gloomy today, Calibee, too. I have arrived home after a wonderful weekend with mum. As I was leaving she gave me a gift of JK Rowling's The Casual Vacancy! What a thrill. It's already unputdownable. So..I arrived home forgetting that DP is away all day and most of the evening visiting his son Sad I have really missed him. I am 6DPO and breaking my New TTC Resolution of not temping during the 2ww but..you know. For some reason I feel it's not going to be a pregnancy this month (let's face it...why the hell would it be??)

Gum, I take it your period has arrived? Otherwise you'd be pregnant, right? Where are you? Do you take a religious sabbatical from this thread on Sundays? I look forward to you reading your posts..

O.K..enough from me. I am awaiting pizza delivery. And Downton Abbey. And my soul mate's return...

goldengirl71 · 30/09/2012 17:22

Gum, that was supposed to read 'I look forward to reading your posts'.

goldengirl71 · 30/09/2012 17:22

[waves at the lovely Pink]

goldengirl71 · 30/09/2012 17:23

Somewhere, speak up! We can't hear you at the back! Wink

littlepinkfizz · 30/09/2012 19:43

That sounds nerve wrecking tina and thrilling! How will you manage the wait? Metal here with us!

gum have you packed yet? You lucky thing!

Poor golden on your lonesome . I hope that at least Ted is keeping you company until DH returns. Enjoy your pizza! Is JK Rowlings book fantasy like Harry p? May be swayed to get a copy myself.

My next door neighbour has just had a baby girl on thurs and myself and dd2 had a quick peak today! Oh I am glad I had just finished my dinner as she was adorable and squidgy and so perfect, I could have devoured her!

AF due 13 October so now just to endure the 2ww.... Not getting my hopes raised and certainly not testing early this time I'm saying that but dont believe a word of it

hopefulgum · 01/10/2012 01:46

No, Golden, no religious sabaticals for me, but don't have a lot to say, so trying to keep a low profile.

I am feeling better mentally now that AF has arrived, and the sun is shining and I walked the length of our beach and back yesterday (about 6 km) in the sun, which was so lovely, then dropped in on my friend and had a cuppa and a long chat. Later that day we went to a fabulous picnic spot on the beach to have a drink with our friends. So it was a really fitting start to the holidays and I feel so much better. The weather forecast is for 30 degrees (celcius) today, so we'll go down to the beach this morning and make the most of the sun.

Golden, I think you are right about your ovulation. Now sit back and relax, knowing you did all you could to get that egg fertilised.

Pinkfizz, I haven't started packing, but have certainly started writing lists. I also have a mountain of laundry to catch up on so that we at least have some clean clothes to take. I always stress about which clothes to take on holiday. Will I need a sun dress,or will shorts and tees suffice? Will I need just one cardy, or two? I wish I was a bit more relaxed about this sort of stuff. There is actually a sweet little clothes shop on the island, but I know I shouldn't plan to leave something behind so that I have to buy something knew, should I?Wink

Anyway, I'll worry about packing on Friday, we are leaving early Sunday.

Tina, I am glad you had two healthy little embies to transfer, so sorry about the other two. I'll be keeping everything crossed for you. I hope you have a busy couple of weeks to keep your mind off it, though I'm not sure anything will help in that department, it is exciting and harrowing at the same time. Hugs to you, sweetie.

Well, I'd best get some laundry on while the sun shines.Grin

somewherebecomingrain · 01/10/2012 09:23

tina good luck good luck hon.
golden hi there - good luck to you too! i had a big row with my sis over the weekend and thought of you! Grin
xxx

goldengirl71 · 01/10/2012 11:09

Hi, Pink, Little Ted did indeed keep me occupied last night - with two steaming great turds on the already horrid retro carpet. He must hate it as much as me. Blimey, you have a looooong wait for your period, huh?

Gum, I can (almost) feel the wind in my hair when you talk of your long walks on the beach. Your heat makes me very Envy We only have one 30° over here and that's fahrenheit! Confused Thank you for reassuring me about my chart and taking the time to look at it. I'm a little worried that you'll be on your hols when my period comes and I am wretched and defeated. How sad is that?!

Somewhere, was the row with your sister resolved? Are you feeling o.k (I always think the aftermath, when we are licking our wounds, often feels like a deperately sad time)? My sister rang me this weekend whilst I was at my mum's to ask advice about how to deal with mum's recent bout of melancholia (fresh pain in new location). We talked for a long time and I explained things to sis which she hadn't known about mum and she listened and was very grateful and lovely to me. I just felt kind of... helpful, if you know what I mean, and it felt nice Smile

Today I am going on a very hilly walk to work off last night's pizza and to escape the lingering smog of kitten poo which is languishing in one of the spooky corridors, despite my application of white vinegar, bicarbonate of soda and elbow grease. Little Bastard.
