Just Shagging Part 10; No science or skill, JS at will!

AWomanCalledHorse · 27/06/2012 14:03

Welcome to the lazy way to make a baby, part 10!!

Just Shagging (JS) is ttc using ye olde shagging & crossing fingers methods, our tools are your body, OH?s body..urm some wine & lots of finger crossing.

All are welcome, most leave happy & upduffed! The last two threads have been very successful; thread 8 had 5 BFP?s, thread 9 had 6 BFP?s....so we?re due 7 BFP?s here, which means we all need to get shagging.

We don?t ?do?; OPKS, taking temp or harcore charting...although it is nice to know when ERTD is due.
Which brings us to acronyms & slang;
AF=ERTD (Evil Red Tide Of Doom).
EWCM=Pant Snot
Getting a BFP soon after joining thread= Doing a kitten
You=Are a viroid, no idea why but it goes long back to the dawn of time.
DTD=JS or donning the Shag cape.
POAS=Sometimes referred to as PIAR (Pissing In A Ramekin), as we?re such classy ladies

Here is last thread for proof that it works, and that you can't shut us up Grin

Here is the Graduates thread!

Hmm So I cracked and bought a HPT but the bastard pharmacist gave me ones that work from the first day of missed ERTD. I had convinced myself there was a very faint line but now it seems to have faded.
I have done all I can to lure ERTD out into the open, I have worn white trousers, been bike riding and now bought a HPT- now all I can do is wait and test again in the morning!

Kittenkatzen · 24/07/2012 15:56

Welcome hooya! :o at you on here singing to yourself occasionally! Thanks for the natural yoghurt tip, I'm pretty sure you apply it rather than eat it so will give it a go tonight!

top eeek how frustrating. I think you should give luring ertd out one last ditch attempt this evening by donning white skinny jeans and a pair of roller skates and then zooming round your local town centre grinning like you've never heard of PMT.... :o

Kittenkatzen · 24/07/2012 15:58

oh and swimming in answer to your question about coping/working during the 2ww - i don't! Luckily for me my work have yet to ban MN on works computers....dread to think what my web history must look like! Confused

topbannana · 24/07/2012 16:21

Ha ha kitten I am off to agility with the dog so skinny white jeans are not really the order of the day :o Perhaps I will take to my bed in a delicate and refined manner and wait for things to progress Hmm

ICompletelyKnowAboutGuineaPigs · 24/07/2012 16:49

Welcome Hooya - I too thought DP was the naughty acronym when I first read it Grin! Not sure about the hips, will let you know.

Practising you'd be surprised how excited EVERYONE gets when shown amazing kitchenware! Men are the worst...I love having men at my shows, they always end up spending a fortune Wink! Some people have a PC party just to have a fun night in, but most people leave addicted to stoneware. Where do you live?

I am currently being bitten to death. Suddenly these itchy red spots appear, I find it very weird. DD is poorly. Nursery rang me to pick her up. She's currently fast asleep on the sofa with Ice Age 3 in the background. She NEVER sleeps at home during the day so she really must be ill.

So my charting is going well - managed to do one day out of 6 and even then I have no idea what the tempertaure actually was as I read it half asleep and then the thermometer ran out of batteries. JSing it is then...

WingDefence · 24/07/2012 16:59

Guinea that is very funny about your progress on your 'experiment'!

Welcome to Hooya and hello again to Swimming and blardy good luck to you Top!

ERTD is just creeeeeeping along here like it did last month (but that was after 9 days) and if it weren't here I'd swear I had pg symptoms but I keep giving myself a good shake and reminding myself that I'm not. Dur.

I'm on annual leave the next two days as DH is down to London for work so I've planned some fab things to do with DS. Including visiting a RL friend on Thurs who I found out a few weeks ago is a MNer but I have no idea who. I shall have to be super careful not to mention this thread or my MN nickname to her! otherwise I'd have to name change again which would be a PITA

I hope you're all enjoying the nice weather btw. It's been overcast and muggy up here. Joy!

fryingpantoface · 24/07/2012 17:27

Welcome thread newbies!

It's all dying down here, thankfully, I'm at the brown blood stage of ertd (I'd apologise for the TMI, but you are all filthy anyways and love it! :)) which is good. Today is my 4th day on, so hoping I'm off soon.

It's hot and muggy here which is rubbish. My son said his first word today (Hello) which is exciting and we're getting his first pair of shoes in Friday because he's starting to walk!

AWomanCalledHorse · 24/07/2012 17:37

Welcome Hooya!

Kitten, hope your day has improved? summer thrush is the worst!

2ww sounds like a nightmare (wasn't ttc last time so only tested on the off chance), I got bad enough last month being a week late!

Guinea, you do realise if you get a BFP this month we'll all have to start charting & shoving thermometers up our collective foofs...or is that not where you measure temp when ttc? I have no idea!

frying, YAY! for first word & getting his big boy shoes! Grin
DS is crawling, trying to pull himself up & is babbling..he makes a 'mamama' sound when sad which gets to me!
And hurrah for you dying down!

top, fingers are crossed here for the morning poas-ing!!

swimmingnotdrowning · 24/07/2012 18:07

Hi hooya. Now I'm not the new girl! I am, however, the girl with pms cramps who is getting a cold - boo hiss.

It is muggy and overcast here too (wouldn't it be weird if we are people who pass each other on the street and it turns out we know about each other's pant snot!?). wing better be careful!!

Fx for top. And happy JS to everyone else - hope the muggyness doesn't put a dampner on things (pun poor but intentional).

NicolaHazel · 24/07/2012 18:11

Woman...I have just had to suppress a snort of laughter on the train when picturing the thermometer insertion technique mentioned! :-)

And hi to Hooya too, I'm another 17 years on hormonal BC TTCer. I do find my body a bit odd without it! I certainly don't remember all these weird internal feelings around OV. :-/

WingDefence · 24/07/2012 18:42

Well tell us where you are Swimming and we'll see! I'm in the NW (nice and general) Nicola there is fairly near me in Southport and Frying (I think) is in Bolton which is also vaguely near in a different direction.

:)

swimmingnotdrowning · 24/07/2012 18:47

Further north and east!

WingDefence · 24/07/2012 18:55

Well I'm further north and east of the spot between Bolton & Sp
Southport but not in the NE IYSWIM :) I am in Lancashire, are you in Tyne & Wear?

If you look further up, here should be a roll call. Please as yourself - and you too Hooya!

fryingpantoface · 24/07/2012 19:09

Hey! I am a Bolton girl :) originally from Northumberland.

I'm pretty sure ertd has ended. It's gone all quiet. shag cape to be ironed! We're going to see Batman tomorrow so tomorrow night baby!

Practisingparent · 24/07/2012 21:01

Swimming I always wonder if the other RL mums i hang out with are on here, my ears are alert for an similar sounding acronyms or phrases,. I also know 2 of my best friends are now TTC and wonder if they might be perusing these threads to pick up more tips.

Guinea Im in the midlands (enough info?). Also I followed the hip advice when we were TTC no 1, but took it a step further by actually lying upside down on an arm chair, legs dangling over the top, i now have a DD so will try it again!

Happy shagging all!

Practisingparent · 24/07/2012 21:04

Top ERTD showed up yet? Wear your most delicate lingerie, also a good way to lure it!

swimmingnotdrowning · 24/07/2012 21:57

Woman can you add BFP to Child?! :)

AWomanCalledHorse · 24/07/2012 22:06

Going to have a bounty hunter stylee hunt for all the awol posters so I can update BFP's if there are any, Wing, just realised I forgot to change your name so I'll do that next post.

top, hope you're still ERTD-less and get a bfp soon!
So many Northerners around!! DH has decided he'd like to move oop to the midlands in the next few years (sick of London), hoping I'm not still on this thread then!

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 24/07/2012 22:10

I'm a fake northerner having been born and brought up in the East Midlands! :-)

ViciousChicken · 24/07/2012 22:13

Hello! New on here and this looks like my kind of thread!
I live up north, have no kids and been TTC for about 2 months. Hope to chat more soon. :)

Hooya · 24/07/2012 23:57

horse may I be on the list? Or am I supposed to just make a new list (new and don't know the netiqette?):

Name: Hooya Location: somewhere in Asia DC: None TTC: 1 month.

Nicola have you found that your sex drive has changed post BC? I couldn't believe there would be any difference but it's been shagtastic since I came off it! Grin

frying we're on the same cycle I think, day 4 ERTD for me and at that icky stage, though I never know how soon to start again in this stage of ERTD (TMI alert) always risk of overenthusiastic JSing dislodging something...

practising love your commitment with the on-chair handstand action. I should try to drag my lazy ass out of bed post-shag and attempt something!

top hope the faint line turns into a big proper one!

wing love the idea of you and a friend trying not to give away your MN details, ooh it's a bit like a secret world on here!

swimming boo to cramps and colds - my DP has one and is leaving a little trail of used tissues all over our flat!

I feel all left out not being in the UK / north! However it is 28 degrees, sunny and lovely here so must not grumble Smile

NicolaHazel · 25/07/2012 06:31

Hi Hooya...yeah, my sex drive has increased a touch. But I was on the injection which is known to dampen it somewhat, so I'm not surprised (though pleased!).

swimmingnotdrowning · 25/07/2012 08:46

Welcome viscious.

What a lovely sunny day - just the thing to put us all in the mood for JS (if ERTD holds off in my case).

Have a lovely day one and all!
