TTC first baby

Hello all! DH and I are TTC our first baby, I'm 31, he's 32. We've only been trying for a month so it is extremely early days but I'm so excited at the prospect.

DH may have some fertility issues (picked up on a scan) but I was pretty convinced it was going to be a BFP straight away as I had so many symptoms - but that shows how much I know! Blush

Is anyone else TTC their first baby? Please join and keep me company!!

Oh yes i have read one or two threads in there...

I thinks its a handy platform to spew your own beliefs... :)

NicolaHazel · 03/06/2012 19:31

That woman with a kid really should have just moved, IMO.

We get arsey with people in shoulders at gigs too. It's wrong wherever you are / whatever the age of the person on the shoulders.

KickingUpQuestions · 03/06/2012 19:39

What happened? It has to have something to do with a push arrogant mother who put her kid on her shoulders and bitched because her kid is more entitled to see than anyone else...?

I bet she has a massive Pam and she stops in the middle of a busy aisle to answer her phone

KickingUpQuestions · 03/06/2012 19:39

Pram not Pam

Pinkie29 · 03/06/2012 19:56

Long story short - thread starter put her dc on her shoulders so they could see the boats, woman behind told her off cause she couldn't see although had the option to move to the left for the same view? Then muttered she was a bitch behind her back, thread starter got upset and left.

Personally id have moved and let them enjoy their day not made a fuss and think its no different to a very tall person obscuring your view? That's life just move on but honestly some posters were horrible to this woman then cause she posted from a museum one asked where the children were?!

NicolaHazel · 03/06/2012 20:02

I stopped reading before the end of the thread.

AIBU does wind me up. A lot!

Pinkie29 · 03/06/2012 20:02

Yeah me too!

KickingUpQuestions · 03/06/2012 20:55

Lets not bring it here then

pink are you a road cyclist or mtb ?

Pinkie29 · 03/06/2012 21:22

I have an all terrain mtb generally stick to paths and grass as much as poss as I just don't feel safe on the roads Sad

KickingUpQuestions · 03/06/2012 21:47

Yet the buses are the worst for me.

But there are some nice places - on and off road.

Between DH and i, we have whittled the bikes down to 5of them. Storage nightmare!!

Pinkie29 · 03/06/2012 22:46

5 bikes?! Wow! I'm fairly new to it do maybe once I've got a bit more confidence I'll get on the road more, thing is as a driver I can't stand cyclists who take up half the road!

I've almost come off the 3 times I've actually been on the road but that's due to my wheel catching the kerb!

Popinda · 04/06/2012 08:25

Wow Pinkie and Kicking! Good on you doing all that cycling! Sitting here in Envy as I would like to do it, but unfortunately are flat is to small to store a bike. But we are moving to a massive house (a bit of exaggeration going on here Grin, just because it's feel massive after living in one bed flat Grin) in few weeks time. And then we planing on buying bikes too! Can't wait! Grin
Same as Pinkie, I think I would be to scared to go on the road! And also hate bikers who take up the whole road and I have to drive behind them at 10mph! Smile

Pinkie29 · 04/06/2012 08:37

Pop I'm one of those cycle haters lol! I steer well clear of them when on the road and hiss if they take up half the lane!

In other news... I've had 5 (yes 5) very very faint positives this morning Smile going to wait a few days and test again hoping for a clearer result

MumOfTwoCats · 04/06/2012 08:50

Wow how exciting Pinkie! Fingers crossed for a few days time!

My test day is this Friday, which is still 3days before I'm due but I'll try a first response!

redstrawberry · 04/06/2012 09:03

DulcetMoans · 04/06/2012 09:19
