Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

Good luck at the doc's today, dotty. Come back and update straight away so we can live the diffedness dream by proxy. Any symptoms yet?

The Wogan lives near me

Today I have really sensitive nipples. CD somewhere in the mid to late 20s.

FriendofDorothy · 17/04/2012 09:06

Saw my lovely GP. He was almost as excited as me!

Gave me forms to get a whole raft of blood tests done and told me to book in to see the practice nurse who is also one of the senior midwives, and he gave me a script for 5mg of folic acid as I am fat!

He reckons my EDD would be 17 Dec. I reckon it's the 15th.

FriendofDorothy · 17/04/2012 09:07

Oh, still not feeling many symptoms other than having sore nips, although I am wondering if I feel slightly sick today. I just can't tell.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 17/04/2012 11:09

Laura bonjourno! How iz you? Awesome dance :)
dor that's so luffly about your GP. It may well be just a hint of sickness since it's still early days. I think the tiredness and the BFPs and the best indicators of your diffedness!
northey I luff the vagueness of the comment about Tezza. Leave us hanging!
Well I'm grateful to the fella who lives next door for going out in his van at 9.30 otherwise who knows what time i'd have woken up? I have managed to get up in fair time today so I'm definitely progressing. Now I have the proper measurements I'm off curtain shopping. Think I'll walk there (about 15 minute walk) though I'd best take my brolly since it looks like it might pour again
Oh and futility fiend reckons I laid an egg on cd10 Hmm despite the lack of fertile pant snot and a pretty small tenp rise. MSB is working super late tonight and tomorrow like til 11 doing 15 hour days so he won't be up to the sechsing. Grr I wish it was just simple..

eurochick · 17/04/2012 13:08

Dor how sweet that your GP was really happy for you. I doubt mine could pick me out of a line up! You are going to have a luffly Xmas present this year (or alternatively be huffing around the house in a bad temper shouting "WILL SOMEONE JUST GET THIS BABY OUT, I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS"). Grin

OP posts:
FriendofDorothy · 17/04/2012 13:11

Well the fact that I work with the the GP on a professional level also helps I guess!

Right now I just want to go to bed!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 17/04/2012 18:15

Oh my days, someone come and fan me, I just spent 400 squid on curtains and poles Shock. All the windows are at least 90 inches wide and I've bought enough for the whole house. But I'm still Shock. Haven't told MSB since he's working late. Just put them on my credit card since long term the insurance money will cover it . Will show him Thursday when he's got time to take it in...Still the positive is I've Been talking about going curtain shopping since I was discharged and I've managed to do it now. I'm definitely on the mend.

I'm particularly in luff with the living room ones - a combo of chunky stripes of black, grey and silver :)
Colds suck bugs, hope you shift it soon. I know what you mean about holidays, when you've paid for AI you want to make the most of it don't you?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 18/04/2012 09:14

Bonjour, guttenmorgen, hello!

Loving the curtain buying, they do sounds nice, faith. And well done on making it out of the house and actually getting them.

Sorry you are poorly bugs and impressed with the removal of excessive apps (as I have an ancient phone I don't have any of these, but I think that has its uses!)

Yay for Xmas babies, dor. Very jealous and very happy at the same time.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 18/04/2012 10:18

How do la BESH? MSB was Shock and a tad miffed about the curtains :( I think worried about spending money we don't have....except we do have it, because we still have over half the lump sum we were given to set up the rental house Hmm. We need curtains and poles. It won't feel like home without them! I had to start somewhere too. So I will stop justifying it. Hmph.
In baybee making terms, FF has brought my ov day back by one which makes more sense to me and the sechs was then pretty well timed my chart is here if any of you want a nose!
Later today I am collecting DNephew from nursery since my Dad is off on a day trip. Fun! The replacement windows are coming in today and tomorrow too. Progress indeed!

eurochick · 18/04/2012 10:27

Priecājos jūs atkal redzēt. (That is "glad to see you again" in Latvian, apparently!)

Faithy it sounds like you are getting the house back on track. You have to have curtains and £400 for a whole house really doesn't sound extravagent!

(PS your chart link doesn't work.)

FF hasn't given me my crosshairs yet, but I had a pretty big temp rise today so it really does look like my IUI on Monday was perfectly timed, so we should all get douze points for that. (Chart is here if anyone is interested: www.fertilityfriend.com/home/343af6) But we've had lots of perfectly timed swi before without it leading to anything.

Bugs I can't get over the fact that I had a dry holiday. As KFZK isn't much of a drinker I found I didn't miss it as much as I expected. I'm not sure I would have been able to hold out if it had been all inclusive though! Where are you off to?

Erm does this work? I'm struggling from my phone

eurochick · 18/04/2012 11:24

Yep, that works!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 18/04/2012 11:30

Allejujah! :)
Is it as miserable with you lot as it is here? I could sort some boxes but somehow I'm glued to E4...

CaveMum · 18/04/2012 11:46

Tis absolutely foul here (east angular). Nil points for the weather.

CD30 here and still no ov. The clinic told me to have a blood test so I've given them an armful this morning. I know what the result will be, but hey ho! HWHNN is coming home tonight for precautionary sechs, though I'm not convinced anything is going on down there.

£400 for curtains sounds tres reasonable Faithy. I daren't tell you what we spent on just 4 pairs for our living room and hallway, though to be fair one window is 11ft wide!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 18/04/2012 12:20

Cavey my trip to Dunelm could be summed up with this: when my Dad came to meet me, I was rummaging in the bargain bin Grin
I can't believe you've got to cd30 now without laying an egg :( At least the bloods will prove you're right to the clinic very fine silver lining Here's hoping that the travelling for sechs is prudent.
Yes somehow I think this weather will leave me looking after a rather hyper 2 year old!

Hello bonjour from ze French adjudicateuse.

Congratulations to those who have timed sex and ovulation well. And commiserations to cavey from one who understands all too well the frustration of just plugging away endlessly with ovulation happening unpredictably (if at all).

faifster, in my experience, the menz have no clue at all how much house things cost, so their approval or otherwise of the price isn't something that should concern us.

ShredniVashtar · 18/04/2012 18:36

Bon soir, toutes les BESH.

Faith, I agree with others about the curtains - you'll have them for a long time, they'll make your house feel homely and that's a really good price for a whole house! So enjoy them and don't listen to any naysaying.

My body is playing some confusing tricks on me this month. CD 8 yesterday, and had lots of ewcm. Wasn't expecting that for another 7 days at least. Anyone else get random cm? Maybe it's my ultra healthy lifestyle paying off

Good work on all the sechs and happy holiday planning, bugs!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 18/04/2012 19:04

Gracias all re the curtains. I reminded MSB last night that since he's in the building trade he will think of the house in terms of bricks, mortor ?sp and timber but what makes it a home is the furnishings etc. At which point he declared I sounded like a Homebase advert to be fair he was tipsy! but I stick by it. He also underestimates how much the furnishings will cost!
Shreddie I have relatively short cycle - average 26 cycles but shortest on record was 24!- so I tend to ovulate on the early side. I tend to initiate the sechs as soon as the Droid retreats and it's comfortable iykwim...I am confused cos FF thinks I've ovulated but I've only really seen sticky pant snot! My advice would be to lure your OH to the bouidor ASAP! Cos who knows?!
bugs sounds like you have a health approach to ttc this cycle. What will be etc.

Ah bugs we're all unreasonably jealous, is why we are BESH. I had similar with a school friend who got married a month before us, they announced her pregnancy about six months after DC#1 was born! Then I wondered if they had ttc issues with DC#1 and DC#2 was a surprise? Who knows? I congratulated her then hid her on Facebook!
Oh my days, the codiene withdrawal is just hideous. Probably a good job MSB is working late, not sure he'd want to procreate with me if he sees me like this! I'm just trying to push through it. Can distract mysef with The Apprentice for now anyway!
