Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

Cavey my shag dictator gave me lots of highs this month but no peak, leading me to think I hadn't ovulated. That was clearly bollocks it would seem!

Winkly · 15/04/2012 21:10

Thanks. I'm not on fertility friend. I signed up and got scared by the bombardment of emails with tutorials and ones shouting at me for not logging in enough, plus I do shifts so temping seems too difficult. Shall go try for some lovin' shortly :)

CaveMum · 15/04/2012 21:48

That's good to know Dor!

Hoping hugging a pregnant lady means something will rub off on me Grin

FriendofDorothy · 15/04/2012 21:51

Snuggle up then ;)

blonderthanred · 15/04/2012 21:56

I had given up temping & FF as too stressful, actually had given up everything due to lack of ovulation but did an opk in Feb on a whim and got a medium-strength positive on an Amazon cheapie - my first ever + result. The packs say anything other than a strong positive is a negative which was obviously bollocks as that was the night that sperm met egg.

So I'd say opks are worth a try if you don't get on with charting.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 15/04/2012 22:09

I tried opks, but never got a positive on the Internet cheapies, and only mustered some 'almost as dark' on boots own brand. I only used them once a day (afternoon) thought, and I gather from her that the surge can be

sinkingflameofhilarity · 15/04/2012 22:11

Bloody autocorrect. Though, not thought. Here, not her.

CaveMum · 15/04/2012 22:11

[settles down next to Dor and rubs her belly]

Wink
CaveMum · 16/04/2012 07:57

Hmm, I appear to have broken the fred Hmm

I suspect everyone ran for the hills when it became clearing was going to start rubbing people's belly's Wink

Shag Dictator no longer wants sticks from me and OPKs are looking very iffy - had 2 slightly darker lines on Sat night and Sunday morning but today it is barely visible again, no temp shift either.

[fed up]

CaveMum · 16/04/2012 08:16

[dances around naked in desperate attention seeking fashion]

FriendofDorothy · 16/04/2012 08:31

I think what broke the fred was me getting my wobbly gut out. Sorry about that.

I spelt badly and would like to be in bed, not at my desk!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 16/04/2012 09:08

Actually I think what suspended the Fred was simply that it was 10.30 on a Sunday night and most people got to bed a bit earlier on a Sunday?
I'll rub your belly for good luck dor!

FriendofDorothy · 16/04/2012 13:07

Ooo you can see the tumbleweed in here today.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 16/04/2012 13:31

Indeed :)
Grr I'm frustrated that I finally I decided to be proactive about trying to sort my phone out instead of talking about it a lot so I rang my current provider to see about getting out of my contract but their systems are down . Bah! And I think I forgot the carpet man was coming today .:(

CaveMum · 16/04/2012 13:36

I think I deserve a Dedication to Sechs award - we did it at 5am this morning before HWHNN had to head off for work Hmm

I better bloody win a baybee after all this effort!

eurochick · 16/04/2012 14:08

Ooooo, good work, cavey. As you know, we have now outsourced that messy business. I have to say, I didn't get the usual warm afterglow with my feet up in stirrups and three people wandering around the theatre, but if it does the job....

CaveMum · 16/04/2012 14:30

Ooo fingers, toes and all other apendages crossed for you Euro. Is it a 2ww or do you get tested sooner?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 16/04/2012 16:01

Hello-goodbye (isn't that eurovision

eurochick · 16/04/2012 16:56

Normal 2ww, cavey.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 16/04/2012 17:20

Well done on dealing wiv the outsourcing baybee making. I know it's a lot more clinical but like you say, if it's worth it...
It sounds like you've made a valiant effort this cycle cavey, 5am is super impressive!
I've had a better day, I've been round to my sister's and played with DNephew. Lots of tickling and giggling :) and I've also been into Tesco and puchased the a few bits and the jammies I liked -Northey I decided you were right - £5 off too! I also filled the car up with petrol and got home without wanting to cry Grin progress indeed!

sinkingflameofhilarity · 16/04/2012 19:12

Bonjourno europhiles.

Looong day a work. Utterly ker-knackered.

Excellent seching cave and stirrup gymnastics euro.

Don't worry drizzly, I'm too chaotic for ff. I can barely keep my work diary/work lists up to date, let alone chart my pant snot and nipple tenderness.

Am still vaguely hoping for a win pre clinic, but can honestly say have never felt less preggo.

Faith - onwards and upwards- marathon, not a sprint etc!

FriendofDorothy · 16/04/2012 22:03

Bonsoir BESHes. I was thinking of you all this evening whilst at choir as we are singing so many songs in European languages that it feels like the Eurovision song contest. To be fair our accents are so bad Terry Wogan would have field day!

Northey · 16/04/2012 22:41

Ciao my darling other Eurovision nations. I am quite splendidly plastered (in the style of Terry Wogan on Eurovision night) whilst on a romantic city break with AMNH. It has included some sechs for fun, for the first time in years. I had forgotten how nice it can be. Is that the sort of comment that will turn out to e really vomiting when I read it sober?

By the way, have I mentioned that I very faintly sort of know Terry Wogan in real life?

LauraBunnyBoilerPalmer · 17/04/2012 06:22

What what what???!!!! I leave the country for a few weeks and I miss all the excitement - Dory you're diffed!!!!!! Yahoooooooooooo!!!!!

I guess I've gotta go get my Eurovision on - for weeks I've been stuck out at sea in that leaky little dinghy...

Muchos besames, BESHes!

FriendofDorothy · 17/04/2012 07:38

Thankyou very much Lor. I am off to the doctor in a bit to make it official.

Northey plz explain how you know The Wogan.
