Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

Well I just had the tiniest hint of brown sludge which is usually a sign for me that I am about to start bleeding as I don't usually spot. I have been waiting for it all day cos my temp fell off a cliff this morning.

I went out shopping this afternoon to cheer myself up. It didn't work. The shops are all full of nasty pastel coloured shite. The 80s were bad enough first time round ffs! I went to reiss, whistles, oasis, zara and ted baker with my bonus (well, the small part of it I have decided to spend on myself rather than IVF) burning a hole in my pocket and couldn't find a single thing I wanted to buy. Meh.

Always the way with shops euro. When you're skint, everything is luffly. When you have dosh, it's all pants. I still have £22 of Next vouchers left from Christmas cos I couldn't find anything I liked. Found some shoes now I can put the vouchers towards but it's taken months to find them! Sorry to hear about the temp drop and sludge :(

Is there a single BESH who isn't full of woe this weekend?

We're you looking fr anything in particular, euro?

eurochick · 29/04/2012 22:06

Nothing in particular. I need work clothes as most of mine are 5+ years old and starting to show their age, and wanted to pick something up for the weekend in France as we will be staying with my superstylish and superslim stepmother in law who always looks great and makes me feel very dowdy and plump even though I am more than 10 yrs younger than her and a size 10.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/04/2012 22:15

drizzy has been quiet, maybe she's happy?!
euro I always feel dowdy. I think I need to be Gok'd! I have nice clothes but always end up in jeans and jumpers! Some of the nicest clothes I have are ones my sister picked put for me. Maybe I should go shopping with her?! MSB has agreed we can each have some money from the insurance compensation to replace clothes we lost. That should be a fun day out!

Northey · 29/04/2012 22:25

Envy of the size 10ness.

I am dowdy too. I have some nice clothes but feel like there is never any point in wearing them just to impress the cats.

eurochick · 29/04/2012 22:33

Maybe the cats would like to be impressed? Wink

She's just one of those people. I feel ok until I stand next to her. In one way she is my consolation - because she never had kids and has a fab life. KFZK and his bro were teenagers away at boarding school when she got together with their dad so she never mothered them and doesn't have kids of her own. I refer to her as SMIL on here for shorthand but she is never called that IRL. She has a great life in Dublin, with a house in France, a wonderful wardrobe and a lot of interesting travel. I do occasionally remind myself that ending up like her wouldn't be too bad really.

Sounds like going to weddings. I think I scrub up ok, and then I suddenly encounter people who are just somehow glossy with grooming.

eurochick · 29/04/2012 23:16

That's it. She's glossy. Even when sunbathing. When I end up with frizzy mad hair, a sheen of sweat and burnt bits where I have missed with the suncream. I'd love to know how she does it.

I lurk on Style and Beauty for tips, which I never put into practice, just mull over, while wearing bedsocks and a dressing gown.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/04/2012 07:40

Me too norf, me too. Maybe part of my problem is budget. I don't spend much on clothes. More recently I've tried to buy less but not shop in supermarkets slightly nicer clothes. Inspired by Dsis buying me an oasis long sleeved t-shirt. I'd never have spent £20 on a t-shirt before but it's luffly and really nice fabric.
In ttc land, my temp is still high. Refusing to test again til I'm officially late, last 5 cycles have been 26 days and I'm cd26 today and 15dpo chart here for people who want to nose!

FriendofDorothy · 30/04/2012 07:46

How long is your LP usually?

Northey · 30/04/2012 07:48

Woke up with a bathroom dash to deal with blood, so I guess that is definitely droid now, and Clomid tomorrow. Had better phone to book tracking scans :(

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/04/2012 07:54

Oh norf that's crap. Bring on the clomid!
dor average is 15, minimum 13, longest 16 FF does come in handy! but it's unusual for me to not have had a temp drop or spotting by now

CaveMum · 30/04/2012 08:01

Faith the chart still looks promising Grin

Norf sorry that Droid has now put in a full appearance Sad Try not to see the Clomid as a bad thing. As HWHNN very wisely said to me once (don't tell him I said that!) if you were diabetic you wouldn't think of insulin medication as a bad thing, it's there to help you and the same applies to Clomid.

In my world, Fertility Friend has backed up my assumption that I ov'd over the weekend. Chart here. So god only knows why the Day 30 blood test said I had ovulated Hmm
That's another cycle down the toilet because of crappy sechs timing Angry

Northey · 30/04/2012 08:02

Chart looks good, faith. Testing tomorrow?

Northey · 30/04/2012 08:04

cave, do you think the test on day 30 caught your progesterone surge on the way up, rather than the way down?

CaveMum · 30/04/2012 08:09

It's possible, but 11days before? I thought the surge only lasted a few days.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/04/2012 08:14

I think testing Wednesday norf, droid is officially due tomorrow and I just can't bring myself to test til I am late, properly late. I have no tests in the house, I will one loads tomorrow if droid does not show up

Northey · 30/04/2012 08:21

There must be personal variations in how long the surge lasts, but yes, 11 days does seem a bit much.

CaveMum · 30/04/2012 08:25

We had sechs yesterday, but if I ov'd on Friday surely that's too late.

Northey · 30/04/2012 09:03

Have you found FF reliable with PCOS? It could be the chart that is wrong.

CaveMum · 30/04/2012 09:16

It's been spot on for all my other cycles, so no reason to doubt it now.

Northey · 30/04/2012 09:19

Bollocks. Don't know then :( Stupid, stupid ttc. The whole thing is just emotionally exhausting. Will you call the clinic?
