Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

Bloody hell. I do a day at work and come back to a whole new besh nation!

Im sure we can work out some way of vetting potential baybee makers in Rulvakia. Obv won't cut out all our friends, who we are happy for really, just not right now, but could make inroads into all those undeserving of a diff.

How's the phone fee?

sinkingflameofhilarity · 24/04/2012 18:21

Bit of a xpost. Again.

Know the feeling euro. Delighted. No really. But don't talk to me right now.

Is that the emotion?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 24/04/2012 18:21

Yes, we will have a BESH only pregnancy bylaw.
Phone would be better with wifi. Cannot download any apps as yet. Generally good though!

Northey · 24/04/2012 18:26

Is there no wifi in your current place? Are you well enough to nip out and use free wifi in a coffee shop or something? I know that's a bit difficult when you're off sick (for actual physical reasons as well as presentational ones).

What sort of a land is Ruvlakia? I'm thinking it needs to include barren and inhospitable-looking mountains which miraculously burst into beautiful and fertile flower every spring. Metaphor, do you see?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 24/04/2012 18:31

I am sorry euro, it is just not fair. I really don't do well with unexpected diffness.

As to Ruvlakia (was that its name on the last page). I was thinking of endless depressing forests. But that might be me (or my current state of mind).

Yay for the iphone, faith and well done for setting it up, at least partially!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 24/04/2012 18:33

Just for consistency's sake, I thought I should add that our BESH country was called Rulvakia on page 15. Just checking out its origins on page 14 now...

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 24/04/2012 18:34

sinking you made Rulvakia up yourself. I understand the confusion brought by slight misspellings, but really you are responsible Wink

Northey · 24/04/2012 18:44

Who should rule on this matter? The Lord High Commissioneress (feathery hats = great wisdom)? Or sinky as founder?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 24/04/2012 18:46

I think the Lord High Commisioneress - as sinking did not remember Rulvlakia and euro is having a rubbish day...

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 24/04/2012 18:46

Correction: a Rulvish day, of course.

Northey · 24/04/2012 18:49

Poor euro, yes, she can whip her medals out and judge.

eurochick · 24/04/2012 19:08

At least instadiff friend lives in Oz now so I won't have to be contfronted with the bump. I was doing so well. I even managed to ask preggers-after-IVF-friend-with-bump if she wanted to go shopping this weekend yesterday.

I like Norfy's topological description of Rulvakia.

OP posts:
Northey · 24/04/2012 19:19

So you have decided on Rulvakia, then.

You sound really glum, euro :(

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 24/04/2012 19:19

These things are sent to try us euro :( well done for getting in touch with your friend.

blonderthanred · 24/04/2012 20:03

Hello you sechsy Rulvakians.

I am still lurking, hopefully still diffed. Leetle scare yesterday but have seen doc & having scan Thurs so fingers toes and all else crossed. Have been poorly sick all weekend with aggressive coughing sneezing and noseblowing so pliz pliz let it just be that. Was mess yesterday but feeling much more positive today.

Looking forward to some excellent Clomid results soon from you all. Fwiw my swi pattern was 2-3 days throughout cycle with week of everyday when I thought I was oving. But I know there's no magic formula.

Btw what happened to the newbies?

sinkingflameofhilarity · 24/04/2012 20:15

I think we scared them off...

I blame the dragons

drizzel, I know I may have named dropped Rulvakia initially, but honestly didn't think it would become a whole world with high commissioners, barren wastelands and judgey pants. Not that I'm complaining. I like it here.

But can I have some medals for being the discoverer? I could be like Raleigh, or drake, or Columbus or something. Not really sure of the details. But I want medals. And a velvet sash. Purple. And a hat

That is all.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 24/04/2012 20:23

Surely you get a flag sinky, to stick in the ground? And a national holiday in your name?
Pleased to hear the baybee is staying put blondie! < superglues fanjo shut> How far along are you now?
I'm not sure about the newbies, I think shredni is just not a very prolific poster. winkly has gone very quiet. New Beshies are you ok?

blonderthanred · 24/04/2012 20:31

All being well, I am twelve weeks on Thursday Faithy.

I think you should all get badges. I luff a good badge.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 24/04/2012 20:49

Wow nearly twelve weeks?! Tentative congrats, have you got a scan date?

ShredniVashtar · 24/04/2012 21:08

My ears are burning! I am here, just not a prolific poster as faith says. I often look at mn on my phone, which makes me purple with rage is not conducive to posting. And you ladies post FAST!

Not sure what I've missed up fred, but briefly:
Hello blonde! Good news about still being diffed. Fx for your scan.
Northey - good news on getting the clomid. Sending positive thoughts your way.

News here is that it's cd 15. Temps still low, and trying not to get upset about sechs fail earlier this evening. Tomorrow's another day and all that.

More from the outer reaches of Ruvlakia anon!

blonderthanred · 24/04/2012 21:10

I know, every day has felt like an aeon but still can't believe nearly at that point. Official scan is Monday but am having "reassurance" scan Thurs following bleed. Well hopefully it will be reassuring anyway.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 24/04/2012 21:35

It does seem like a long time since you got your bfp. I always find that when I know about diffedness after 12 weeks it flies by but if it's early days, it seems like a long wait. Well hurry up Thursday! And then pop along and tell us all so we can do some celebratory nekkid dancing because I'm brimming with positivity for you and bean

CaveMum · 24/04/2012 21:54

Just wanted to share this link with you all. I posted it in Chat but it didn't attract much attention. It is truly amazing, though unfortunately it won't open on iPhone/iPads.

eurochick · 24/04/2012 21:55

I'm not too glum, really. Just a bit "meh". I think the PMT hormone dip is starting and it is contributing, tbh.

12 weeks, already blonde - wow!

OP posts:
HaveALittleFaithBaby · 24/04/2012 22:23

Aw cavey I've only got iPhone-iPad! :(
euro I just started a major blurb fest here due to a combo of what I can only a assume is hormones and pain. I have admitted defeat and will go to the GP tomorrow even if it means facing the horror of being readmitted
