Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

Dor my bessie mate told me she felt exhausted in the first few weeks. Not good when she does such a labour intensive job!

[strokes sinky's hair soothingly]

They never did give in to the [kitten] or Cake campaigns either Sad

Wow - you lot are busy. Many posts while I briefly looked away. I don't care the dragon was for St George day. I liked it

Vino was good and thankfully not hangover today, not menkulling yet, so today might be a top day (if I leave MN and do some work :) ).

Sorry you're so knackered dor, but yay, you get to go somewhere for antenatal care. Wow.

How are you feeling today norf? And fee?

PS I like Rulvakia

FriendofDorothy · 24/04/2012 08:52

Yeah, and I am definitely not complaining about being tired (I promise). I think it is just a bit of a shock when it does actually happen (if you know what I mean!)

KatAndKit · 24/04/2012 09:01

Hello shlaaaaags!

I have got both my hands free for the first time in 11 days so I thought I would pop by and say hello. Baby Max is snoozing in his chair and I am still in my dressing gown. He is simply gorgeous! All is going well so far. This time tomorrow last year I was having the worst birthday in my life ever (2nd miscarriage) and this year I'll be having the bestest birthday in the world ever. Hopefully this will encourage some of you who are hanging on in there against the odds.

Was hoping to see a win in my absence according to the one in one out policy of the PESH. However, am very glad to see that dor still has her fanjo glued shut and by the sounds of it, you are having some good differ symptoms too! Anyone testing soon? I love a bit of POAS action.

northey the NHS policy sucks. It all sounds extremely annoying and frustrating for you. Hopefully the Clomid will do the job. All fingers are crossed.

bugs how are you? Are you on your holibobs now? Hope you enjoy lots of Cyprus sunshine, sea and brandy sours or whatever you choice of holiday bevvy is! Weather is shit here and it's days like this that I miss living in Cyprus beneath that lovely blue middle eastern sky.

blonderthanred · 24/04/2012 09:39

Happy birthday for tomorrow Kat! Delighted to hear all is going well with the real actual amazing baybee. Give him a cuddle from me.

Glad to hear Northey got the Clomid after the epic wait. It will work.

Northey · 24/04/2012 09:49

Hae a lovely day, kat!

I now have a box of Clomid in my hot little hand. It occurs to me that this is another ironidiff checkpoint. I shall be waiting for my period so I can start the pills, and it will never come .

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 24/04/2012 09:49

Wow, a Kat shaped visitor! Congratulations Grin I luff the name Max. You sound so happy! Have a wonderful birthday, you deserve it.
And hello to blondie, how are you doing?
drizz I'm ok until I move! Quiet day waiting in for my phone to be delivered then will spend the remainder setting it up!

eurochick · 24/04/2012 10:13

Happy burfday kat! Welcome to Baby Max from his insane BESH aunties.

Dor glad to hear you are still diffed and getting proper preggo symptoms!

lemons I'm sorry the outsourcing was crampy. Funnily enough, I don't think our wombles much like having a catheter shoved into them!

faith that chart is still looking good! Mine is following its usual pattern.

Shall we start a new BESH Republic of Rulvakia?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 24/04/2012 10:26

Happy - very happy - birthday kat and enjoy snuggling with a Real Baybee!!

I see a theme for the next fred: Rulvakia!

euro, I think it is entirely unreasonable of womble to complain about having catheter shuffed in. GRRR. But yes...

Waves to blondie, you are diffed too, right? How is it going?

Just keep still, faithy! Hope you're ok and enjoy the new toy!!

CaveMum · 24/04/2012 12:12

Hello Kat, how nice to "see" you Grin
Glad all is well with you and Max.

I'll third the suggestion of The BESH Republic of Rulvakia Grin

Northey · 24/04/2012 12:25

Can we have national dress, possibly including lederhosen? And a diet involving thrilling ways with potato?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 24/04/2012 13:21

norf - I like it. And we can all speak Rulvanglish for the whole of the next fred.

I think it is great efficiency to have the next fred sorted before we're even halfway through this one... Let's talk loads to get onto Rulvakia!!

eurochick · 24/04/2012 13:32

Excellent. Can I nominate myself for the role of Lord High Commissioneress of Rulvakia? I would get to wear a hat with some ridiculous feathers sticking out of it. And lots and lots of megals for doing nothing at all on a garish sash.

OP posts:
eurochick · 24/04/2012 13:32

megals=medals, btw

OP posts:
Northey · 24/04/2012 13:33

I shall practise wearing my lederhosen now. Possibly as an interlude entertainment. None of that wshy washy Irish dance shit here. It's leather pants and oompah bands all the way.

eurochick · 24/04/2012 13:53

I can just imagine what the wogan would have to say about you in lederhosen, norfy.

OP posts:
Northey · 24/04/2012 16:14

Good point. Possibly I shall rock the buxom, dirndl-wearing look instead then.

eurochick · 24/04/2012 16:21

OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!!!

(That was me in my new role as Lord High Commissioneress of Rulvakia reacting to the announcement of a "surprise" second pregnancy of one of my old yooni mates. Sigh.)

PS - nice dirndle.

Northey · 24/04/2012 16:26

I have to confess I don't entirely know what one is. It may be a ceremonial clog, or a dress or a peephole bra for all I know.

Northey · 24/04/2012 16:26
Northey · 24/04/2012 16:28

I wish the whole world could be struck with temporary infertility, just until the BESH catch up, I must say.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 24/04/2012 17:33

iPhone has arrived and I have set it up a bit!
norf I'd like to simply get off the world for a while. Is it t'other place causing your woe? Or RL people?

Northey · 24/04/2012 17:35

I was responding to euro, really, but I do share her woe in general.

How is iPhone looking?

eurochick · 24/04/2012 17:54

This is someone who had very severe anorexia (she was hospitalised for it) when she was younger. I wouldn't wish subfertility on her (or anyone) but I wouldn't have expected a surprise instadiff either in her circumstances. Or am I just bitter and twisted? Oh, and she's also older than me.

OP posts:
HaveALittleFaithBaby · 24/04/2012 17:56

Ah clearly didn't see euro's post properly. Think I need the MN app for the iPhone, the mobile site doesn't work very well on t'iphone.
