Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

Just got off the phone to the clinic, I had too many questions about my dodgy cycle.

The nurse said they can't tell when I ov'd as they don't know if they caught the progesterone on the way up or on the way down. But there is no doubt that i have ov'd.
She said to wait at least a week from the blood test (Weds) before even thinking about peeing on anything and told me off (nicely) for using OPKs. She said she doesn't recommend them for PCOS as sufferers tend to produce iffy levels of LH. That's me told!

So, Menkul Town here I come!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 20/04/2012 17:08

Norf I failed at least two mock tests and then I passed first time!
cavey that's rather unhelpful! I will hold hands with you as you menkul.
Here's my NHS humour for the day. Received a letter for my follow up gynae appointment. Letter dated 29th March, posted 18th April. Who wants to guess when the appointment was for?!

CaveMum · 20/04/2012 17:16

I'm going to punt for 19th April???

If I had gone for the bluddy Day 21 test I'd know at least whether I ov'd before that or between that and Day 30! Ho hum!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 20/04/2012 17:29

Close cavey but just that bit more ironic. Twas for 20th April Hmm Probably arrived about 3 hours after the appointment time...
Annoying as it is cavey, I guess all you can do is chalk it up to experience. I'd be miffed in your position too!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 20/04/2012 18:08

Ps winkly has gone a bit quiet, iz you ok winkers?

Northey · 20/04/2012 18:19

Someone has started a thread asking if 33 is too old for her 3rd child. Fuxache.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 20/04/2012 18:47

Jeepers creepers!

Northey · 21/04/2012 07:40

BFN on CD30. And yes, I know that testing now is v v silly :)

eurochick · 21/04/2012 10:31

Faithey that is quite spectacularly sh1t.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 21/04/2012 10:39

NHS genius innit?!
norf it's understandable since your cycles are so variable!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 21/04/2012 11:29

Well I'm a happy bunny cos I've ordered my iPhone. Get an NHS off my bill too so essentially I'll get more minutes and data per month for less on my monthly bill Grin with cashback for my old phone that covers the cost of the new one I'm essentially quids in!
We're off now to spend MSB's bonus and my tax rebate: replacement necklace for one I lost for me, dart board Hmm for him.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 21/04/2012 11:56

Morning BESHes.

Have fun with the fun shopping faith. I'm going out later to try and get a new red lippy if I can be arsed

Norf, try not to stress. All the best people fail first time Wink (eek, not that you will, but if you do, but sure you'll be fine )

Droid has mounted a successful surprise attack here. Boom, the fufc win out he window. So my Saturday is going to be spent in a cd1 strop. Hence the hunt for a new red lipstick. Screw you droid.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 21/04/2012 11:59

But cycle was 32days. Post ov drilling have gone from 44-60-37-35-34-32. Shortening cycles have got to be good, no?

eurochick · 21/04/2012 12:25

Good news on the shorter cycle sink but boooooooooooooooooo to Droid.

Enjoy the shopping *faify"

Thanks euro. Went for a run. Almost vomited. Now had bacon sarnie and a cup of tea. Not sure if I'm going to move off the sofa today. Blush

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 21/04/2012 12:59

Wow sinky running on cd1 is somewhere between impressive and insane. Shorter cycle is definitely the silver lining on the Droidal cloud. I definitely recommend a sofa afternoon with chocolate!

sinkingflameofhilarity · 21/04/2012 13:34

Now faife, are you v efficient and have already done the shopping, or do you need to get of interweb and go buy shiny things?!

Have no food in house (well, have fruit and yogurt, but nothing fun) so may have to get off my bum to fully wallow in cd1. Rats.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 21/04/2012 13:48

Shopping was from Argos round ze corner so done in short time. Am pleased to have necklace again, cried when I realised it was in a bag that went through the washing machine it was lost!
Can't Mr Sinky get you supplied?!

sinkingflameofhilarity · 21/04/2012 13:59

The boy is off playing sports. Have said I might go and watch the match later with my fingers crossed behind my back, maybe He did make the bacon sandwiches and me a cup of tea earlier so am not too neglected.

What's necklace like? Going to a wedding next month and have decided I need a bracelet to go with my outfit (not sure where this whim has come from. Do people even wear bracelets any more?). I could do with inspiration.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 21/04/2012 14:14

I have a Pandora bracelet that my sister go me for my birthday and it's all I really wear on my wrist. But bracelets are still good in my mind!
I'll try to link the necklace [[http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/2195676/Trail/searchtext%3EWHITE+GOLD+NECKLACE.htm Here] for you to see. MSB bought it for my birthday for few years ago!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 21/04/2012 14:15

Try that again! here

sinkingflameofhilarity · 21/04/2012 14:32

V naice. Glad you could replace- I'm still mourning one of earings I lost while drunk and fiddling with it in taxi

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 21/04/2012 14:52

Yes I'm really pleased they still sell it. I washed the bag in a pot-fire tizz and a lot that we'd lost in the fire can't be replaced :( so it's great. I'd also lost/broken all the chains I had so I haven't been wearing any necklaces in the last few months! All my pendants have a nice lease of life!

Northey · 21/04/2012 15:00

Nul points and a technical disqualification for sinky's droid (are there disqualifications in Eurovision?). But douze points and a bunch of groupies for faif's replaced jooooooolery. Did MSB get his silly dartboard?

AMNH has drilled SIX holes in the wall and hung SIX paintings (well, posters and photos and shit too) for me. Hurrah!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 21/04/2012 16:23

Wooooohooooooo! AMNH has hung the paintings! That's phenomenal news norf. Doesn't make the house seem more like home? One of the reasons I hate being in this rented house, no hanging anything on the wall. White walls too. Very clinical :( Ah well, not long til we get home.
Yes MSB has hung his dartboard and has played for a while. I don't mind too much actually, gives him something to focus on and he's talking about joining a pub team locally which I think would be good for him.
