Do you think he'd consider changing what he drinks winkle? Not cutting down the amount but changing to a beer with lower alcohol content?

My DP did this and cut his consuption by half but he still gets to drink a few beers everyday whilst staying within the recommended limits.

Can anyone explain why I got a smiley on OV on cd 16 and then AF 19 days later? That's a long luteul phase. Could I have ov'd later?

winkle, you may have trouble convincing him on these but....Tesco Value Larger. They're only 2% so very low alcohol. They're also something like 80p for a 4 pack so really are very good value.

Most of the supermarkets do their own value larger which is around 2% and all for around a £1 per 4 pack. If you're a real beer connoisseur then they'll probably make you hurl but if, like my DP, you like a beer or four at the end of the day to help you unwind then these are a pretty safe option to stay within the limits.

You could surprise him with a 4 pack and gauge his reaction? Probably one of barely concealed horror but I'm sure you're feeling like you'll try anything at the moment

We've just had a chat about switching to light beer and only having 2-3 in the evening a couple of times a week - hope it works!

Winkle - I lived in the low alcohol section of Tesco / Sainsburys when I was pg with DS, seeking out drinks that had only one unit so you could nurse one all night at a party / barbecue etc without feeling like you were totally missing out! There's a great low alcohol cider Tesco / Sainsburys and a couple of other places do, that you can drink in a pint glass with ice and one pint of it is only one unit and when you drink with ice, it takes forever to drink! You and your DH could give that one a go, even if he was drinking it steadily all night he'd have a hard time getting above 3/4 units lol

Also I'm with you on Valentines Day baby - that was my due date when my mum was pg with me but I arrived 5 days late hee So maybe I'll end up being due on my birthday - that would be cool!

I'm on CD34 here tho....and noooo sign of AF anywhere.... But no real symptoms either so bracing myself for AF's stupidly late arrival later in the week. Hmm. Next cycle going to be using that weird drain blocker lube and doing the winkle a lot me thinks

Not been a great day really. thankfully craftygirl kept our spirits up.

Still no bleeding but constant cramps. This is the longest run up to Af. I am only going to join June thread when there really is no hope.

We had a real flurry of BFPs in April but May isn't being very fruitful for us, is it?

Nothing to report here haven't run to the toilet yet today but I still don't feel 100%, hopefully just a bug that has now passed.

I'm getting slight twinges in my left boob but I'm trying not to read anything into it as I get twinges all over the place and that just makes me old not pregnant

Think AF is here for me too - which is really odd as it's 5 days late, which is highly unusual. Think I'm gonna be giving up as it looks like DP's radiation treatment more than likely renders him infertile for 2 years or so; that takes me up to 44 and, well... them's the breaks! :(
