CD 1 today and my last cycle was 34 days which means I'm due to test 6th April.

Anyone fancy joining me?

Hi all,

Another BFN yesterday, evening wee on a new brand of IC but I'm pretty sure it's right even though I'm now on CD42 and 8-9 days late. I've never had a cycle this long before, once it was 41 days and there have been a couple of 38/39 dayers but this is taking the biscuit!

I had a load of EWCM on CD35 morecoffee, it meant nothing for me as far as I can tell but it's well worth SWI if you see it. Along with the cramping it sounds like ovulating doesn't it? Here's hoping Smile

RIBS sorry AF has arrived and this hasn't been your month but at least you can start again soon and a new year baby will be lovely Smile

RIBS · 13/04/2012 09:59

I had 64 days rue!!! Its not fun.

No wonder my hair's going grey.

At least I know how the clomid is gonna work with me. So I wont be as hysterical next cycle. (cos thats gonna happen) (cue more confusion and stress on may thread)

Heres to wine tonight and a new year baby for all!! Wine

This TTC stuff can be a proper pain in the arse.

morecoffeewantsmorechoccie · 13/04/2012 10:01

Oh rue, poor you. My cycles have been really long before, and this one is no different. I have git a mamouth amazon order on its way with about 100 Ov sticks,so next month I will test every day, sometimes twice to make sure I don't miss it.

Maybe we should start a new thread when this one comes to an end and call it "just hoping for a bfp anytime soon with our dysfunctional bodies and weird cycles" Grin

RIBS · 13/04/2012 10:06

Count me in. "Awkward bits???" - Here!

RightUpMyRue · 13/04/2012 10:18

"Womb forgotten what it's for? Ovaries asleep?"

Ooh, yes that's my kinda group!

I'm thinking that the bleed I had on cycle 12 wasn't a period. It was a funny post-miscarriage bleed(it was lighter in colour then usual, no clots either) and the short 4 day bleed I had 10 days later was my real AF(that was usual dark colour with usual clots but much lighter flow and shorter than usual...).

That would make today CD31 which is a bit more reasonable isn't it? It would also tie in with the EWCM I had 11 days ago. I average at 34 days so if my theory is right then AF is due within the next couple of days. I've had a headache for the last couple of days which often happens before AF too.

What does everyone else think, does that sound plausible?

morecoffeewantsmorechoccie · 13/04/2012 12:00

Yes, that sounds quite possible rue

I'm thinking like you, just want to know either way now and move forward.

livismum · 13/04/2012 18:06

Hi all, been lurking all week (not been on MN for fair while, busy with 2 DD's ) finally decided to try for %233 and been "actively" TTC since Xmas, and that's when cycles started misbehaving!

Tried OPK's but disheartening when not really sure of dates etc and my small bladder making it tricky to hold on for nice concentrated pee!

So after a 24 followed by 33 day cycle tried to watch body this month for signs, CD15-16 had one sided pains and EWCM so got to it with DH! (had covered the bases on run up as well!)

Am now in 2WW and swear time has slowed down! AF due a week tomorrow and bought 2 POAS for £1 in Asda (a bargain not to be missed!) it took a year to fall with DD2 and told myself not to stress this time, just be patient and wait

But last 2 days been feeling v "twingy" anyone else had this or am I just so focused on my insides I'm reading in to it! Not usually one to suffer pre AF! Hmmmm going to be long 8 days!

God what a whingy 1st post feel free to send me straight on my way! Blush

winkle2 · 13/04/2012 20:17

Doing the winkle?! Oh no what have I started!?

OP posts:
winkle2 · 13/04/2012 20:26

God I want wine! But hubs and I are trying to be good. Aarrggghh it will be worth it in the end!

RightUpMyRue · 13/04/2012 21:31

Hi livismum Smile

It's really hard not to focus on and analyse every twinge and tug when you're hoping for that magic BFP. You're not alone in thinking trapped wind is a baby!

"Doing a winkle" We'll know what it means Grin

winkle2 · 13/04/2012 22:11

I'll be doing a winkle tonight after hubs has done a winkle!!!

Haha :D

discobeads · 13/04/2012 22:26

hello, please may I join your thread? :) I have never joined a ttc thread before. dd was conceived almost as soon as i came off the pill. This time I have been trying for three months with no luck yet.

I am on CD17 and expect my period to be here on 24th/25th april unless I am up the duff Grin

winkle2 · 13/04/2012 22:41

Welcome discobeads and good luck!!

Dtd tonight again Grin

Did the winkle for a good half hour after Grin Wink

Hi livismum and discobeads

I am still waiting for my amazon order. It's been taking ages.just checked and it seems it never processed so need to re order tomorrow! Grr!

Hope everyone gets some good swi in this weekend! :)

jennifer86 · 14/04/2012 08:44

Love the idea of "doing the winkle" I will have to remember that one!

Many congrats to iheart, wishing you a healthy and happy 9 months.

Hi, livismum. The 2WW can be long and frustrating, I know... Best to keep yourself busy or the time really does slow down!!

I caved yesterday morning and POAS. BFN on an internet cheapy which was disappointing. That was 13dpo, so think it would have been pos if I was pg. AF hasn't shown up yet, though, and now 14dpo (I've only been temping a few months but my luteal phase has generally been 11-14 days). Will give it until tomorrow and try again. I don't feel remotely pg, though... But also don't feel like AF is coming, so I'm a bit Confused

Good luck with all the SWI-ing and "winkle"-ing Wink

winkle2 · 14/04/2012 09:33

Hope doing the winkle doesn't go viral!!

CD13 here so gearing up to OV in the next few days I should think.

Got another SWI in last night - how do you girls lay with your legs on the air for ages afterwards? I can't manage long! Plus my legs get cold!

OP posts:
discobeads · 14/04/2012 20:30

what is the winkle? And do i want to do it?

winkle2 · 14/04/2012 20:55

The winkle is lying with your legs in your air after sex!!

OP posts:
RightUpMyRue · 14/04/2012 21:43

Named after our very own winkle after she was kind enough to come on post after SWI whilst she was lying prone helper those little swimmers on their journey egg-ward.

It's up to you if you want to do it but I think most of us do! Grin

morecoffeemorecoffee · 14/04/2012 22:12

I did the winkle twice yesterday!!! Grin

morecoffeemorecoffee · 14/04/2012 22:35

Oh, I have a slight name change again :) sticking with this one I think :)

winkle2 · 14/04/2012 23:35

Go morecoffee!!!

Went to a wedding today so have had a few drinks. How bad is it on a scale of 1 to 10 is it to take my santogen mum to be tablets with wine?!
