Helloooooo everyone!! Had a day off work today for my smear......
Whuch didn't happen coz I got another faint (but immediate) blue line.
Yes OO I disobeyed you.

I took the stick to the Nurse who said it was definitely +ve. She did another one and she got a faint +ve too.

BUT
She also said that it could mean an egg has been fertilised but may not have implanted!

BUT
She also told me to wait until Sunday to see if my AF arrive. Her exact words were.. "I think it is highly unlikely your period will come"

Don't know for sure though.... I'm still getting quite normal and painful period pains.

Advice please: When you get those pains ovualation pains how long have you got? do you need to have sex then or around that time??? I know i sound thick but it was by fluk that got pg with DD 2.6yrs. i have been trying for 6months i guess Thank you for letting me gate crash xxxxxxxxx

Slink - I had OV pains on days 11/12/13 of my cycle..... then we bd'd twice on day15/16 and look where I am now! We are still in limbo but the egg seems to have been fertilised! Whether it has implanted is another matter.

I am complete beginner at this though. Quacks is the girl to ask!

Oh goodness! I hope that my AF doesn't arrive in Sunday and the tests were just picking up hormone from un umplanted fertilsied egg! I'm getting used the the idea now!!!

At first I thought NO NOT NOW, This wasn't supposed to happen until after Christmas! but now I think who cares.... the sooner teh better. Starting to get nervous now....

M2T, good news!!! Even better news for you is that no HCG is produced whatsoever until the egg implants in the womb lining. That is when the embryo sends signals to produce it etc... You can only get a pg test pos if the egg has implnated!! HOWEVER, some eggs don't make it past the 'period' just after. Fertility friend says that until implantation there is a 75% chance of failure. AFTER imp, it goes right down to 30%!! That's where you are. Then from day of missed AF it goes down again to 10-17%. Then from 12 weeks, 5%.

Dinny - The tests I have done were Boots own. £8.99 for 2 and 100 advantage card points! Which is the only reason I bought them so early!

5 days after what?? Bd'ing?? I got my first faint line 10 days after BD'ing. My AF isn't due for another 3 days. When is your AF due Dinny?

did test five days before AF due (was due yest, did it Sat) neg.

have just got a really weird sense of smell, that's why thought I may be....
