I am ttc as of next month (although halfheartedly tryed this month ). I have one ds aged 2.5 yrs.

Dinny, First resp can pick up 3 days before AF, although it says in the box that it can only get about 60% of positives so early cos people produce diff amounts of pg hormone. Can you wait a little longer??????????

Don't worry, the amount of HCG differs, esp in the evning, less concentrated. STOP testing! Do another in the am if you are worried, but not at night!

M2T, I'm the same, got Xmas party next week. How the hell do I convince the rabble I work with I can't drink!!!

I haven't actually done one in the morning yet apart from the Nurses one, but it seems to be crap coz it was even fainter!

I think I'l just have one drink and say that it's given me hearburn or something feeble like that!

It's well known now that those tests done at the Doc's are not as sensitive, There was womsone on here this week who had a Doc's test, it was neg but a couple of days later a home test gave a pos! 2 freinds I know have had crap results from Doc ones, so don't worry. Hope I managed to just reassure you about imp of embro. I was at this stage 2 weeks ago. I was praying for this stage to come and now I'm just desparate for 12 weeks to come!

Haven't been here for a few days, writing job applications etc. but . . .

BLIMEY M2T!!!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATS!!! You must be mega fertile, and you weren't even going to try properly til after xmas! Soooo pleased for you!

We are still bd'ing every other day this month and see how we so. I am not so in tune with my body that I know when I am ov'ing, so its a bit hit or miss.

Re the drinking... JUst take all the drinks and sip them and then tip them away - so dont mention not drinking it always sounds implausible

THIS IS DRIVING ME MENTAL! Still getting cramps, but very mild now. I'm at work today so no more peeing on sticks until Sunday afternoon!

Many congratulations M2T - what a quick result! Re the not drinking, saying you're on antibiotics is always a good excuse - cystitis or tooth infection, maybe. Depends how much you can bend the truth.

I'm so apprehensive now! What if I'm not pg, what if my AF arrives on Sunday as normal??? I'll feel so stupid and like such a fraud!

Congrats M2T - you must be as fertile as a bunny!! Fingers crossed that you make it passed Sunday, but I've got a good feeling... this thread is the most fertile I've seen it in ages. Hoping that you can pass it on to all the rest of us.
