Needed to start a new one.... that one was ridiculously long!

Right:

I am ttc as of next month (although halfheartedly tryed this month ). I have one ds aged 2.5 yrs.

We bd'd every other day for almost three weeks, need a rest now, but it did work. Dh says I have set a precedent, and hopes we will continue this frequency!!! Yeah right!! DD was 5 weeks prem, so I may even end up in the June thread!! Good luck to all of you.XXXXXXXXX

Okay Ladies, my prd is due on fri, hoping that am prg now. Have had light spotting here and there ( which is not normal for me). If I were to take a test right now would it show if I were or not for sure?? I have done some and they have all been neg, but somewhere deep inside I still feel a little hope.

Right folks, help me out here!

I did a test last night. My AF is not due until Sunday, but I couldn't resist..... it was calling me....
I did it and after a few seconds there was no hint of a line, which is what I expected so I chucked it in the bin. I went up half an hour later and there was a faint blue line!!!! VERY faint!!!

I have my smear tomorrow so I'm going to take the test and see what the doc thinks.

OH MAGOD! Maybe I imagined it!!!??

Hmmm, they do say any line don't they? If you are due on Sunday, a First Response should pick it up tomorrow.........did for me about 4 days before I was due. Can you repeat tomorrow with the first wee of the day??? Did you buy a double test pack?

I did buy a double pack of the boots test (200 advantage card points if you buy it girls)!! But I did the other one last week (just couldn't resist and wanted to practice ).

I'll get a first response tonight if I can. thanks.

Is there still a line there? I kept checking that mine had not disappeared when it wwas in the bin!! How scabby did I look, rooting around in the bin?!!

I fished it out the bin again this morning (YUCK!!)and yes it is still there. VERY VERY VERY faint though.

Twiglett - I thought it was the hormone that turned the line blue????? It was about half an hour later that I first noticed the line.

Has anyone else had this happen???

What ever happened to the "any line is a line" theory?

I have decided not to torture myself this month and am going to wait until after my AF is due (she says, ha) so I won't be peering at pissy sticks again.

Twiglett - I'm not going to be too down if I'm not, I was planning on waiting until after Christmas anyway, but you know how things go.

I still have the instructions, but at home and I'm 40 miles away at work! I'll check them again tonight.

It's not a blurry line, it's a very narrow pale blue line?? Anyone had this???

It certainly is Podmog! I only did the test last night coz it was there and I was bored (DH sleeping on sofa). And NOW look what I'm putting myself through! I should've left it in the bin and did another one on Sunday if my AF doesn't show!!!! I'm such an idiot!

M2T - agree totally. They should have pregnancy tests behind bars in Boots with someone stood in front of them demanding to know how late you are and refusing to sell them to you if it's less then a week!

THEN we wouldn't all be peering at pissy sticks and putting them under bright lamps and saying 'can you see anything?'

OOOOH M2T how exciting, fingers crossed!

Now I have a problem for you all. I think I've got shingles. On top of blimmin glandular fever. Life is great (NOT) but I am now worried in case I have conceived (very unlikely as did not BD at right time but you never know). Would it be a big prob?
