Hey All!
Im currently on CD 20 so around 8-10 days until the AF arrives or I can test :D Just thought there may be some others that are waiting and driving themselves crazy! Thought we could hopefully share our BFP within the next few weeks, and keep each other sane! :D

Well AF is due around 24th so only another 12 days and counting!! Lol

I've had dull pains but no sore boobs or anything else, I'm guessing it's way too early to get any signs anyway only perhaps implantation!

I currently go to kettle bells once a week and circuits twice a week I don't tend to go in the gym as it bores me.

Is anyone else due AF soon?

bettybat · 13/01/2012 10:32

Can anyone help me shed light on this, please?

I'm really sorry if this gets graphically TMI but if we can't talk it here, where can we Grin

When my AF is coming, I get a leaky, drip sensation. My period is approx 2 days late now, but I keep getting BFNs. I say approx late because my cycle has been a rang of 25-30 days these last few months. If it comes today, it would be a 29 day cycle.

I keep getting that leaky sensation. I have a fully, bloated "period" belly. Slight cramping. Two BFN's. But - the leaky sensation is due to a clear liquid, almost like wee in terms of density (so doesn't seem like mucus). My knickers - I'm so sorry!! - are soaking in the front. I cried on the train into work this morning because I was convinced it was AF, went to the loo in the station, got out a tampon and got tissue paper, prepared to clean up the caught-on-the-hop mess....and nothing. Just clear liquid. All morning, it's been the same.

Has anyone experienced the same? Could it be a jippy period due to just hormonal shifts from TTCing, perhaps?

LauraM20 · 13/01/2012 13:36

no major constructive advice here I'm afraid, but if AF hasnt arrived yet there is still hope!! AF has not arrived for me either and my cycle is basically the same as yours, but like you BFN for me twice!! I'm holding out until sunday I think (going to be awful!!) if has not arrived will do another test!

Get your DH to take you out for dinner or even better the pub tonight to take your mind off it! Good Luck, keep me posted!!! :)

Winnie..you sound like me!! I am always symptom spotting and Ive normally convinced myself im pregnant by about 5DPO!! TTC actually sends you slowly crazy!

Okay - so I couldn't wait any longer. Despite (or maybe because) of the persistant feeling of AF round the corner I tested yesterday morning (sorry for not coming on sooner to say - I was Blush at how early I had caved). Asda had sold out of my old faithful tests, so I bought the Superdrug cheapies, which turn out to be super-sensitive. I got the faintest of lines, so faint that I couldn't be sure if it was a real line, or an evaporation line. I followed the instructions exactly, but have read some horror stories about false positives.

In the absence of any further FMU (oh why, oh why didn't I pee in a pot), I had to wait until this morning to retest. DH was dispatched to the next closest Asda for the familiar tests, and this morning I retested using both the Superdrug and Asda tests. Two more very faint lines within the allotted time Shock

I still feel really crampy though - my back hurts too and I have a lot of the above mentioned discharge. Because of this, and my previous MC, I am cautiously optimistic, but not counting my chickens yet. First things first - a clear positive is needed!

browneyesblue · 13/01/2012 16:57

PS - AF due on Monday

RozziB · 13/01/2012 17:05

I had a miscarraige in June at 11+ weeks, AF is due 21st, DH just left this afternoon and won't be back until April Sad so really hoping that we have been lucky this time. Really trying not to think too much about it, I will drive myself round the bend if I do.

I hope everyone gets the results that they are hoping for Smile.

Iheartpasties · 13/01/2012 22:31

Browneyesblue - I've just been catching up and as I was reading about your non-AF type thing I was getting more excited, then your three BFP 's !!!! Fan-fucking-tastic news!!!!

I was going to test this morning but I forgot!? It's my birthday today so if it had been BFN I was gunna have some Champers at lunch to take my mind off things. But I've wasted my Morning pee!!? Shall I test later anyway? Does your second pee count if you don't have a drink?

browneyesblue · 13/01/2012 22:48

Thanks - I'm keeping my fingers crossed, and will test again tomorrow to see if I can get a clearer line :)

I'm not sure, but probably does count if you haven't had a drink. I think it's all about dilution (or lack of it). Fingers crossed for you (and for all the rest of you), and Happy Birthday Iheartpasties

bettybat · 14/01/2012 08:07

Three days late, three BFN's. Bleurgh. Either way, I'd just like to know. I'm not particularly liking this maybe/maybe not no man's land limbo situation! JUST TELL MEEEEEEE!!! Hahaha.

Browneyes! Yay! Yay! Grin Congratulations, so exciting!

RozzieB and Iheartpasties - good luck! Sending lots and lots of positive thoughts your way!

LauraM20 · 14/01/2012 08:32

Browneyes-Yaaaaay!!! Congratulations! That's amazing news, a line is a line after all! Please keep us posted!

Betty-I'm still the same as you, still no AF still bfn, so I'm still playing the waiting game.I used the super sensitive superdrug ones and it was still bfn, so im in no doubt AF will arrive it's just when!! I still have my fingers crossed for you tho :-D

Rozzib-I really do have my fingers crossed for you!

Iheartpasties-happy birthday! Regarding second wee, think it depends on what test you have, how sensitive it is and where you are in your cycle? But regardless of that have a lovely day!

Anyone got any nice plans for the weekend? I have a 1st birthday party and I'm the only person going without kids out of 25-should be fun!! I wonder how many people will ask me when I'm trying for children! ( hoping AF doesn't arrive before the party, or on likely to bf crying at any baby that looks at me!! ) x

Iheartpasties · 14/01/2012 08:38

I had a BFN this morning, but never mind we'll try again next month. I just don think we got our timings right this month?!

LauraM20 · 14/01/2012 08:53

Sorry about bfn, hope you enjoy your day tho, with extra big glasses of champagne! X

bettybat · 14/01/2012 08:55

Laura - I am choosing to believe it's good news and we're going to be identical all the way through our wonderful identical pregnancies and it's all good! Hahahahahaha!

I feel like I am going mad. Well done for having the will power not to test. My mum told me to wait until tomorrow but I caved this morning :( Has anyone ever had this - BFN's for ages??

LauraM20 · 14/01/2012 09:08

I have read that it can happen, some people take longer to produce the pregnancy hormone than others, it's hard testing each day and seeing the bfn though isn't it, that's why I'm waiting until tommorow, I can't stand the crushing disappointment! How long have you been trying Betty? Ha ha hopefully it is good news and we both get our BFP together!! X

browneyesblue · 14/01/2012 13:17

Thanks ladies :) Still a very faint line this morning, but I'm coming to terms with that still being a Good Thing. No more testing until Tuesday, when I hope to get a nice, strong, 'no doubt about it, you're pregnant' pink line.

Hope you still had a nice birthday Iheartpasties - did you do anything fun?

RozziB - it must be hard with your DH away for so long, especially while you're ttc and/or driving yourself bonkers during the 2ww. Keeping my fingers crossed that this was your lucky month.

Good luck bettybat and Laura, and of course anyone else testing in the next couple of days. Please keep us updated.

wifey6 · 14/01/2012 13:29

Congrats browneyes! A line is a line! I did 3 tests with my DS over 3 days!!
My OV app might have got my OV days calculated as slightly earlier than reality. I had OV symptoms a few days later than predicted so made the most of those days..hoping it all counts! AF is calculated to arrive 21-23 January..so a bit of time yet! Can any one recommend a good, reliable OV app please?
Good luck everyone for this month. Smile

Countmyblessings · 14/01/2012 20:47

Hi Laura and others -
I'm also waiting or hoping that AF will stay away and I'm now late according to my pass AF since my MMC in June 11
Im having cramping and the feeling that she's coming but nothing!
No brown spotting no nothing!!! Which I would of had before she comes full force! I'm on CD 30 today and always come on by CD 28!!
No stress nothing strange has happened for my cycle to change but it's just missing!!! And I have done FR, pound land cheapy, super drugs digi, all telling BFN so whats going on if this was me in the passed I would say I am but with the tests all saying no and they worked for me in the past I just don't know what to think!!! If no show by Monday making an appt to see Gp!!!!
Oh I also surrounded by new born and pregnant people everyday!!!

Iheartpasties · 14/01/2012 23:55

Hi,

I had a lovely birthday yesterday, and now I have a bit of a bad head! We had a lovely meal for lunch and I had two glasses of Champers. I also got a hair cut and went for something a bit different, quite a bit shorter so that made me feel good (because I really like it and I think it's gunna be an easy hair style for me). Then I had a few more drinks last night :)

I am affriad I don't know anything much about the ladies who are having no AF but also BFN's. But I have my fingers crossed for you all.

I like to try and find some positives even though I got a BFN, so here goes -
1.I can now go and get my tooth looked at as before I wasn't sure I could just in case I had a BFP,
2.I can focus on moving flat in the next few weeks rather than thinking about anything else for a few weeks,
3.I wont have to stress about being out of the country for the 12 week scan! (booking holiday real soon, hopefully tonight)

keep me up dated with all of your news, and good luck to you all.

RozziB · 15/01/2012 13:05

Well AF appears to have arrived 6 days early (which is a first for me) so I don't have any more waiting to do :(.

Good luck to everyone and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you all that you get the results you are hoping for.

Countmyblessings · 15/01/2012 15:07

Ohhh sorry Rozzi - that the AF hag has gotten u flippin early she is so awful!!!
Iheart - good positive thinking looking at all the good things u can now do!
Glad you had a good birthday!
Well still no sign but pains are coming back so will see by end of today if hag is showing any tell tell signs of coming flippin 3 days late!
Found out another person is expecting I'm happy for her she lost after me! And now beggining to show I guess she wanted to keep it quiet until she went pass the weeks she was when she lost!
Super emotional right now, DH cooking I'm off for a nap!

yellowbrickroad · 15/01/2012 20:16

Hi, can I join you? We're TTC DC3. Only on my 1st cycle, AF due in 8 days.
I've totally convinced myself I'm pregnant too, been clocking all the symptons (bloating, cramping, sensitive to certain smells). Don't have tender boobs though. I know it's extremely unlikely (read somewhere that only 10% of women get pregnant in their first month of trying), but that's not stopping me hoping!

Good luck all those waiting to test!

Beeblebear · 16/01/2012 05:56

My first 2ww is over, but I'll be joining in another 12 days our so. Not sure how I'll do with the waiting this time. Last cycle w was on an amazing vacation and it still managed to take over a little. Doesn't help that my dh doesn't say a word about it.

bettybat · 16/01/2012 06:12

Day 32 - no AF, no BFP. Hmmm. It could still come this week so I'm still in no man's land.

Beeblebear · 16/01/2012 06:21

Betty, good luck!

My cycles are anywhere from 26-34 days since going off the pill. So hard not to start thinking I may be upduffed after that 28 14 day mark.

bettybat · 16/01/2012 06:45

OK, scratch that - AF just arrived, I think. I have never, ever had a cycle this long. AF was playing very un-funny tricks on me!

Back to the drawing board :)
