Hey All!
Im currently on CD 20 so around 8-10 days until the AF arrives or I can test :D Just thought there may be some others that are waiting and driving themselves crazy! Thought we could hopefully share our BFP within the next few weeks, and keep each other sane! :D

Aaaarh. I know I said AF coming a week early was a good thing, but ... Just realised DH's week away on business is now over my most fertile period and expected ovulation date. Sad so that's it for this month, already. Am a bit gutted as I definitely won't be having a 2012 baby now as DH and I are going to give March a miss from TTC so as to avoid a Christmas baby. Sad

Am trying to think of the positives, but all I can come up with is that the longer it takes, the cheaper it will be to have 2DCs in nursery when I go back to work. Which, frankly, is not helping.

(sorry about the moan, carry on as you were)

ellesabe · 22/02/2012 22:47

Oh no, it seems like loads of you are having a really rubbish time Sad ((((((confused))))))))

Boooo to AF secret and vasilia

I wish I could say something to make it all seem a bit better... but I'm not very good at that so will leave it to someone who is somewhat better with their words!

Rudawakening · 23/02/2012 06:20

confused Sorry you're having a rubbish time, are you avoiding TTC in march because you don't want a December baby at all or just Christmas? If you worked out your rough OV date in march then what your due date in december would be it might not be near Xmas iyswim unless you don't want december baby then probably best to avoid.

ellesabe · 23/02/2012 06:45

Ooh ladies we're nearly at 1000 posts! Is that allowed? I don't recall ever seeing that happen...

DesperateHousewife21 · 23/02/2012 07:19

Someone will have to start a new thread. Any volunteers?

Dont feel much different today, felt really irritable for a while last night. We're still going to dtd tonight, and prob every other day til AF due!

Sorry to those who are out :( hopefully the new thread will bring better luck for us.

wifey6 · 23/02/2012 07:38

I'm trying so hard not to get my hopes up- but 3 strip tests have faint positive lines. Could it be evap lines? I checked them within seconds & the lines are still there.

ellesabe · 23/02/2012 08:28

OooooooOOOOOooooooo wifey!!!!!!!!

ellesabe · 23/02/2012 08:29

I'll do a new thread now...

Rudawakening · 23/02/2012 08:30

Oooh wifey that's brilliant. Doubt all 3 would be evap lines.

Can you get a test from Boots or somewhere and test again tomorrow just to be sure?

DesperateHousewife21 · 23/02/2012 08:33

wifey ooooh def do another test!! Can you take a pic of it for us to give a second opinion?

wifey6 · 23/02/2012 08:37

I'm getting a digi test later- I have done 5 tests in all & it still doesn't seem enough to convince me. How do I upload a picture...I really do need your opinions?

DesperateHousewife21 · 23/02/2012 08:40

You can upload pics to your mn profile, you'll need to make it public do we can see it there'll be an option to do that.
Go to 'my mumsnet' and you can do it all from there, make sure the pics not too big.

wifey6 · 23/02/2012 08:57

I can't seem to retrieve my recent photosSad. But I will keep trying!

wifey6 · 23/02/2012 09:16

I have done 2 more strip tests & all are showing a positive line. My MIL is getting me a digi as I'm at home with my poorly DS- so by this afternoon I will know without a doubt!

DesperateHousewife21 · 23/02/2012 09:24

So exciting! I'll say congratulations now as it seems quite def you've got a BFP!

wifey6 · 23/02/2012 09:31

Thank you DH21- but I'm really not letting myself get excited til I see the words. I know it shouldn't matter if the test is £2 or £10- but for my own sanity- I will be loads happier seeing it on a digi. I did the same when pregnant with my DS..

DesperateHousewife21 · 23/02/2012 10:02

I know what you mean, I did 3 tests with ds then at about 8 weeks I was suddenly very anxious and needed to see the words so bought a digi, of course it said pregnant 3+ but it was still reassuring.

wifey6 · 23/02/2012 10:24

Can I do a digi anytime? With my DS I got a strong positive line in the evening...but as these lines have been semi-faint will that make a difference to a digi?

sedgieloo · 23/02/2012 10:36

Hi Wifey, if it is the same colour as the test line, but faint (e.g. a pale pale blue or pink but not a grey) then it is a faint positive not a evap line! Congrats!

I know this because it happened to me this week and I read up on the subject at poas.com which says tons quite a bit on it, anyway a few days on...and I got my 'bold as could be' BFP this morning!!!! (I think I was too scared to believe it before)

wifey6 · 23/02/2012 10:52

Congrats!!! That's wonderful. It was a pale pink...all 7 of them!!Blush

Rudawakening · 23/02/2012 11:00

congratulations wifey

Sounds like 7 bfp's to me
