Oh BESH I am feelign rather sad. Took my darling little cat to the vet today and he has given her a really poor prognosis. She has lost 1/3 of her body weight and he isn't sure what is the matter with her but it could be renal failure, diabetes or cancer or anything else. He wants her back tomorrow for full b lood work and x-rays.

She is old - probably about 13-14 - and I have already decided that I wouldn't have any aggressive treatment on her as it wouldn't be fair.

She has been my constant companion for about 8 years and has been there all through me being really sad about being single and not having a baby.

Poor Delilah... and poor me, just a little bit. :(

I haven't had an external scan in years. It's all about the dildocam these days, it seems.

I was diagnosed with PCOS as a teenager. When I had fertility investigations on the NHS, they decided I didn't have it. My private gynae says my ovaries are "multicycstic" and it looks like I responded to the Letrozole like a PCOSer (i.e. lots of follicles).

My main symptoms are insulin resistence (I feel faint and odd if I have sugar and then allow myself to get hungry) and some hair (now all lasered away - if you can afford it I would wholeheartedly recommend it). I get more spots than most 35 yr olds, but not acne. And I'm slimmish and always have been.

I think a CBFM would be useful if you have irregular cycles but I don't think it really does anymore than OPKs and/or temping does. If you are having regular sechsy time around ov already, I don't think it could contribute much.

eurochick · 10/01/2012 12:10

Sorry to hear about your kitty, Dot. :(

Bugs thanks for giving your blessing.

Dor so sorry to hear about poor Delilah Sad my Molly-Cat is my constant companion these days and I know how heartbroken I'd be if anything were to happen to her Sad. Big (((hugs))) for you both.

KatAndKit · 10/01/2012 13:09

cavey pm me your details and I'll get it sorted for you. I presume you intend to start it next droid? If you are having regular sechsy time then it doesn't really add all that much, but it does help if you are having to time things. And it lets you know when you can ease off for the rest of the month which can be a big help!

dor very sorry to hear about your cat :( But I think you are doing the right thing not putting her through aggressive treatment at her age.

rie arsewipes and bollocks to the evil stick fucker.

euro very sorry to hear your friends are going through such a tough time.

MadameBoolala · 10/01/2012 13:35

Rie, Would today have been the first day of the droid? Or would it have been tomorrow?

AriesWithBellsOn · 10/01/2012 13:40

Dunno. Probably tomorrow. Maybe even the next day.

AriesWithBellsOn · 10/01/2012 13:41

You're going to tell me to test again aren't you?

AriesWithBellsOn · 10/01/2012 13:41

Boo is it ok if I come up to your house and weep on your bosom?

CaveMum · 10/01/2012 14:23

Kat, you have mail Grin

Northey · 10/01/2012 14:51

rie, what's wrong? Is it a post-pissing comedown? If boo's buzzwams are unavailable, I own a pair of GGs which are always here for you.

Just discovered I have misplaced my laptop charger during the move, probably 200miles away at my parents' house. And I need to complete and submit a job application before tomorrow. Argh! On bonky rural bus to nearest city now, in desperate hope that their PC Wirld will have a replacement. Sob.

MadameBoolala · 10/01/2012 15:11

Maybe we could put our marvellous chests together to form a sofa for our Rierie?

And yes dear one, I think you have tested a little early and it's worth waiting a few more days.

Northey · 10/01/2012 15:16

She is such a goddess of slenderness Envy that she may be totally encompassed and never escape! I like to think it would be a happy end for her.

KatAndKit · 10/01/2012 15:21

Adding my FFs to the GGs to make this lovely bosomy sofa for rie who will now be drowned in boobies!

Northey · 10/01/2012 15:26

It would be very unseemly to have a biggest buzzwams competition, wouldn't it? Can anyone top GG?

MadameBoolala · 10/01/2012 16:49

I'm FF too soNorthey can go in the middle.

Or on the end, chaise longue style. What do you think?

eurochick · 10/01/2012 17:20

Crikey, you are all well-endowed. My teeny little B cups appear to be shrinking. Not sure what that is about. :(

AriesWithBellsOn · 10/01/2012 17:23

Thank you for all the kind bosomage

Euro, I am a teeny little B cup too. Well C at the moment, but that's only because I am only 30 inches under my boobs. Sunny is another lithe whippetty type.

InTheSunshine · 10/01/2012 17:49

Did I hear my name? Yes I'm a skinny no boobs too.

AriesWithBellsOn · 10/01/2012 17:51

Sunny, shall we tell Euro about the Magic Bra?

CaveMum · 10/01/2012 18:03

B Cups?! Ha! Positively Jordan-esque compared to my A Cups! There is no way my breasts will be confused with mountains [pop culture reference folks] Wink

LaLauraDePalmer · 10/01/2012 18:20

I used to be skinny, no boobs...now I'm just no boobs. A cups here.

Dory I'm so sorry to hear about Delilah - my little pooch is saving me right now. I absolutely need her cuddles. She's been the number 1 constant in my life for the past 8 years - have dog, will travel.

RieRie you don't have to test if you don't want to. You can be like one of those women who suddenly discover they're updiffed at 24 weeks. Then you'll miss all the worst menkulling!

I pm'd Faith today...I miss her.

And now for the best news of my day: This evening I get to meet a real life BESH in person. The lovely Euro is meeting me for some wine (& separation blues hand-holding) I am feeling quite lucky, despite my situation.

AriesWithBellsOn · 10/01/2012 18:27

Hurrah!!! Always exciting to meet BESH. How will you recognise each other?

I'm liking the bosom chaise longue concept. I feel it could go places.

LaLauraDePalmer · 10/01/2012 18:36

She politely described what she'll be wearing. I told her I'd be the one with the red carnation.

Does feel a bit like a blind date, but without all the cringy parts - neither of us will have to make the call of whether or not we're hard up enough to engage in a drunken make out session!
