Well we have done well with holidays this year, what with 2 trips to Hong Kong (work-related for The Mister though), a little trip to Somerset for a wedding and nearly a month off camping in the summer before moving. Somehow I think that is it for a very long time now as we have to save for a house.

This year I have done incompetent skiing in Switzerland, romantic snogging in Venice, and rugged outdoorsiness in the Cairngorms. And possibly something else, as I'm sure there was something in the summer as well.

God, that sounds quite a lot.

Normally I just frequent it to get my fill of telling people to get a grip, in the style of "no pineapple will not cause miscarriage otherwise women would have opted for a fruit salad instead of hundreds of years of backstreet abortions" and "have you tried pissing on a stick?" and also "your boyfriend is a twat". I obviously have an unpleasant streak and need to exercise it somewhere so I pick on the babydusters.

I've had a fear of birth for a very long time and I've actually found watching it has reassured me by being upfront and showing you want goes. I think my fear is more of "the unknown" than a real "birth" fear.

I watch OBEM whilst wanting to twat all the people on it, for either being so fucking stupid as to not use contraception when they are clearly shagging unsuitable father material or for wanting a pain free birth. Wankers.

Well I want a fucking pain free birth! One like a dolphin or a shark when the little one swims out and can do everything independently immediately preferbly.
