Right, I need to punch something!

Just been on another conception thread I frequent (yes I'm a thread slut) and someone has got her baybee win ON HER FIRST FECKING ATTEMPT!!! She and her other half only decided to start trying in November and she's just pissed on 3 sticks which all say "win".

I've been waiting very patiently for 2 bloody years! Life is not fair!

[necks gin]

SantasCave · 03/01/2012 18:46

Am I a horrible person? Sad

Northey · 03/01/2012 18:47

£20 each. They got soaked, and I had cocked up about their parking space and so on. And I suspect that there will be more cock ups at the other end tomorrow, so I sort of wanted to buy some advance good will.

KatAndKit · 03/01/2012 18:47

You punch away cavey that is bloody unfair. A very good friend of mine got two instadiffs but that was long before I started trying.

Not horrid in the slightest, cavey. I think we all know exactly how you feel. I am furious and jealous about that poster too and I don't even know who she is.

Are you another one who started trying in Jan 2010, then? I am just hitting my 2 year anniversary too.

From what I can read, the people on it tomorrow will be barely out of school uniform.

SantasCave · 03/01/2012 19:03

Technically I didn't come off the Pill till spring 2010, but we first agreed to start ttc in January 2010. Feels like such a long time ago Sad

In the wise words of my dear friend Casserole, NGCCOWTP. What do you mean, you don't know what that means? It stands for "No Good Can Come Of Watching That Programme."

I remember a massive fight I had with some daft bint last year when I expressed frustration about the age and circumstances of some of the parents on it. I finally repented and admitted "But OF COURSE it's not up to me to pass an opinion on an anonymous internet forum about two 17 year olds who have got pregnant, have no money and qualifications. It's a BRILLIANT idea for them to procreate now rather than wait a few years. I was just being a middle class, judgmental cow! I'm very, very, very sorry if I advertently made through my thoughtless comments you think that getting knocked up at 16 might have been unwise. I'm sure that now - after a few years of getting yourself sorted - you are a very, very, very good parent. Yes I am just jealous because I am 36 and am freewheeling down the road to 40 and am a barren old cow. You're completely right!" I didn't say those things of course. "Witless teenagers screwing" was how Headbanger put it

In other news, how am I going to get through the January evenings with no booze?

AriesWithBellsOn · 03/01/2012 19:28

And if anyone lurking has taken umbrage at the above comment, then I don't care and you shouldn't be nosy.

LaLauraDePalmer · 03/01/2012 19:28

oh Bugs your Feb 20th 20 week date is would have been my first due date. Sad

I'm going back to the Parlour now.

LaLauraDePalmer · 03/01/2012 19:30

But not before questioning Rie why she is having a no-booze January. Certainly the path to insanity?

The Parlour is the BESH book club in Adult Fiction, bugs. I haven't even bought the book yet, so am too ashame to show my face till I have.

LaLauraDePalmer · 03/01/2012 19:41

The Parlour is the new home of the BookishEvilSelfishHags Book Klub. EveryESH welcome. Even if you don't read the book you are eligible for gin and snogs. I'm finding it nice to have a ttc-free place to spend time with the lovely ESH. Especially as I'm not allowed to ttc at the moment. Envy
