We are all jolly well going to get preggers this month in a nonchalant non-psycho way, and hang onto it, and there will be no brooking of any argument whatsoever!

Welcome across Rat Smackers! Glad you found the place okay. This is THE MONTH when we get those deceitful pee sticks to own up to the BLINDINGLY OBVIOUS - we are all already preggers! After all; positive people get positive pee sticks!

I too have not managed to persuade dh yet, though not entirely given up. He refused a massage. He saw through it!!!!!! It is SO hard. We were never like this with ttc DD. But I had regular periods back then and anyway, we had lots more opportunity before she arrived!!

farfalla just had a totally similar incident to you... DH has now begrudgingly agreed but it will be a 'duty-shag'.... oh, whats worse, to not and hope its not an ov day or to do it through duty...?

hey all.

just thought I'd join in the shag chat. we're currently on month 2 of every other day after AF. it was a every day SWIathon for a few months, think the pressure was getting too much with me going a bit WE MUST SWI NOW I COULD OVULATE ANY SECOND. no pressure though DH...

i have been thinking positivelyish that quite a few of the first months ttc #2 were somewhat hampered by #1 teething/being ill/going through not sleeping phases so maybe i shouldn't count those months. maybe DS just doesn't fancy a sibling and is trying to thwart us Stewie Griffin style. Grin sorry, DH watches family guy too much! touch wood he has been sleeping ok recently, although hand chewing has resumed so we may be away to start working on the final set of molars.

hmm, he does spend a lot of time talking to the toys in his cot before eventually passing out at night. there may be plotting going on.

he's not 2 till next month, so i don't think he has any advanced duplo time machine building skills...

I.feel a bit out of the look, way past the swi stage of the cycle. Have big, jaggy boobs, tender right only what's that about? breasts and last night had crazy dreams that my friend was kidnapped and tortured and I was facing certain death. How knocked up am I?!

Come on Ninja! I've got to drive for 2 and a half hours this morning and if she doesn't hurry up I'll have to do the whole drive with everything crossed for her - which would be quite difficult! Confused

On that topic we're going camping for a couple of days (DS and me going to visit my parentals on their holiday) so will be away a lot - not ignoring y'all Smile

Sorry about all this feeling sorry for myself posting going on at the moment.
Last night was a disaster, ended up having a massive row.
DH thinks I just need to 'chill out' and he feels sex has just become about a baby which is exactly the situation i wanted to avoid frankly. I did not play it cool in the slightest, basically became hysterical, sobbing, crying.
We made up this morning. Up shot is I think I need to ditch the shag dictator and go with the flow a bit more, I just get way too het up about DTD on the right days. He is going to try and make more of an effort during the week.

dream did you have better luck? I think my issue is that DH can't have the duty shag, he has to be up for it. Gah!

Well bit the bullet and tested this morning, wish I had held onto the daydream a little longer though as it was a BFN. :(
Should think that it will stay that way as AF due on Thursday, so not testing too early or anything.
Oh well, be jumping on the next bus. Good luck to the other testers.

morning, was a bfn for me and af decided to rock up just as i was dipping the stick. Ah well, onto month 16. Poor dp looked heartbroken when he went to work, we really thought we were in with a chance this time. Still I am now on day1 of my pregnancy and its my birthday tomorrow and my gynae appt on thursday so onwards and upwards.

Oh Ninja I'm so sorry - bad timing of af to turn up like that. I like the positivity though - you are on day 1 now and with the gynae appointment you're sure to have success this time.

Farfalla think it's wise to try to relax about it, but it is hard striking the right balance. Glad you made up with your DH.

farfalla, DH did indeed perform the duty-shag, but I got a funny, really sharp pain (?cervix area) and then continued with funny lower abdo pains afterwards for ages...
Hope I've not damaged anything?! Was sharp and painful, not twingy, and brought on by sex not afterwards so no chance of kidding myself into thinking implantation pain... I can't get the balance either, sooo hard!

Also, i'm meant to be booking in for a smear, and keep putting it off for my blindingly obvious pregnancy without knowing if i could have it anyway? Any ideas?

Really sorry to hear about your BFN ninja, was the first thing i thought of this morning! Next month- the gynae appt will just make it happen so you'll have wasted your time going!

dream it's important to go for smears, please don't put it off. It might be worth checking with your surgery if they prefer to do it at a particular point in your cycle. You can aleways ask about the whole 2ww/ttc thing at the same time. I'm fairly sure I've read its ok though.

I'm on day 8 today so could do with starting the gruelling regime. I'm at work until 22:00 tonight & DH is up at 04:30 tomorrow for work. So I'll have to get home quick and somehow seduce DH Hmm

Farfalla DH and I have had similar problems, in fact the only time sex isn't a problem is during the 2ww! I really miss the days when my DH was the sex pest. I'm starting to feel a bit perverted as all I think about is DTD!!
