That's it really. I'm CD 6, having red days, planning my BD-ing & wandering if anyone else is in the same boat as me...?

Sorry about AF 3cats & for your pain.

Natty - Even more waiting! You are very patient. Do you know if the amount of progesterone that is produced affects the level of AF. I only ask because i wonder if this could be my problem. As i'm getting regular surges so i'm sure i'm oving & my cycle is like clockwork but my AFs are very light. I get my blood results on 5th Oct.

Hi BBWB - I know what you mean about remembering to test. I should have done my cd6 one today but i forgot so i don't know whether to bother this month now. As for the bd we have had problems too due to illness on my part. We are getting there now although we still only manage a couple of times around ov. Have you thought about trying preseed? Its a sperm friendly lubricant which might make it easier for you.

Have a good weekend all
J

Another weekend over !

How is everyone today?

I'm feeling much better than last week. Still have AF and stomach pain but migraines have gone so it's a big relief.

I remembered to take my temp before getting up this morning. So my chart starts on CD5. Not sure how successful it will be but it's another way of getting to know my cycle so I'll try it, if I remember each morning.

Best wishes to you all.

Hi Ladies

Glad everyone is well, AF arrived on Sunday so start taking clomid today.

Jag not sure about progestrone effecting the light/heavyness of AF.

JAG123 · 11/09/2006 19:53

Hi

Natty - I'm glad that you didn't have to wait too long. Good luck

3Cats - Glad you're feeling a little better.
I've thought about giving temping a try. I don't know if i could be disciplined enough though.

3catstoo · 12/09/2006 12:15

Glad AF arrived finally, Natty. Good Luck with the Clomid. Fingers crossed that there is good news soon.

Have you always had light AFs Jag?
I was on the mini pill for years to make my flow more manageable. That is progesterone only I believe. I can't take oestrogen (spelling?) because of my migraines. The mini pill certainly gave me a shorter and lighter flow than I had previously had. Maybe there is a link with your own progesterone levels too.

3catstoo · 12/09/2006 14:08

I've just started a free 15 day trial of Ovusoft fertility softwate. It's by Toni Weschler (at last I've spelt her name right !!!).
15 days isn't much but I thought it might make me remember to check my temp before getting up.

www.ovusoft.com/fam

www.tcoyf.com for more info on the book.

3catstoo · 12/09/2006 14:10

My goodness, I need to go back to school. Is there such a word as spelt? Spelled must be what I meant.
I am tired but that's no excuse.

Jolly phonics here I come.

Natty1806 · 12/09/2006 18:56

Thanks ladies lets hope it works for me.

I have paid for that software i did do the 15 day trial it is easier than me trying to fill in charts just type it in and it does it all for you.

3catstoo · 12/09/2006 19:56

How much did the software cost Natty? I could only see the $ figure. Hope you don't think I'm too cheeky asking.

Natty1806 · 13/09/2006 07:15

No not at all it came out at £21.69 or something so not too pricey.

3catstoo · 13/09/2006 14:14

That's quite good really.

I find it a bit confusing the way it adjusts my temperature because I took it earlier. I guess I need to read the book in more detail. I must have skimmed that section.

Also having trouble deciding whether my cervix is high or low. At this point it should be low but it feels pretty high to me. If it gets any higher I won't be able to reach it!
After having children your cervix is usually partly open so it's also difficult to tell if it's open more than usual.
I don't think I'm going to be very good at this charting thing.

Do you still chart your cycles Natty?

Natty1806 · 13/09/2006 20:05

yeah i chart, but do not do do cervix pos Just Cm and temp.

Natty1806 · 13/09/2006 20:06

Forgot to say clomid drys up CM so i going to be taking grapefruit juice after AF up to ov and i EPO + cough med aparently it all helps.

3catstoo · 14/09/2006 10:02

I read that Clomid dries up CM. A bit ironic really. Cures one thing but causes another.
Hope the grapefruit works.

I have a cold now. Will that effect my chart?

Natty1806 · 14/09/2006 16:51

Yes it probably will, make sure you mark the sick symbol and if it thinks you temps are different because of this it will do something with them, maybe take them out.

3catstoo · 15/09/2006 16:03

Thanks Natty.

Wishing everyone a good weekend.

charlyp · 19/09/2006 18:33

hi all, have read this thread and feel like i know you all. have been using persona for 4 months, initially for contraception although my dh and i are planning to get knocked up soon, loks like it might be sooner than planed as had a little bd on a red day this month cd15, no o sign at all this month although did get the heavy blue line which normally comes just before the little o - usually day 16. Think I might be PG - is day 27, AF due tomorrow, did early HPT and got no line saying the test worked properly, did another today but its one that supposed to do on due day, very faint line - but a line - still not sure, haven't even spoken to dh about it - freaked out, although at 34 my clocks ticking, its like time to get going ready or not .... feels good to share

3catstoo · 20/09/2006 12:37

Finger crossed for you Charlyp.
That didn't take you long if you are pg.
Do let us know.

How are you all?

I'm still temping. It's my 'peak' day today according to my temp and CM.
DH was in a foul mood last night (work I think) so I don't really want to tackle him tonight.

I have bought some new underwear this week. Nothing special. I needed some new pants and bras so I thought I would stray from my usual white and go for red instead. I thought maybe DH would like it. It would show that I am making an effort. I also bought some massage oil. I gave him a massage at the weekend and made a point of telling him that I was noy Ov'ing so I wasn't doing it to tempt him to give in to another baby.
Well I was really but forward planning.
DH said my new undies were 'ok' last night. He just about peered away from the computer screen.

I'll carry on with this Toni Weschler charting thing for a while. DH knows I'm doing it as it's hard to hide the bleeping of the thermometer at 6.30am (just after his alarm goes off for the 4th time!).

Hope you are all well.

Natty1806 · 20/09/2006 13:05

Well lets hope the oil and new undies work.

My therm beeps too at 5.30 am then i have to get up for the gym - lovely.

charlyp · 20/09/2006 18:49

) can relate to the peering away from the screen factor with my dh too, mind you have not tried to tempt with oil and undies

cd28 have all PMT symptoms but no AF, bought new HPT but too scared to try, might leave another 24 hours and see

Natty1806 · 20/09/2006 19:10

Are you normally a 28 dayer?

JAG123 · 20/09/2006 19:28

Hi Ladies

The temping thing you are doing sounds interesting. Might give it a try. The oil thing sounds like fun too.

Keep working on DH 3cats hopefully you will get there.

Natty - Hows the clomid going have you felt any affects from it yet?
I go to the Gym about 3 times a week, but i've been wondering what sort of affect it could have in the 2ww.

Hi Charlyp - I hope its good news for you Good luck.

BBWB -How are you getting on?

DH did his sperm test last week & you would have thought he was going in for a major OP. Just got to wait for all the results on the 4th now.

Take Care All
J

Natty1806 · 20/09/2006 19:36

Hi Jag

Just a few hot flushes last week, scan on fri to see if it is working and if i have polystic ovaries.

Good luck for the 4th is it just your DH results then or your bloods as well?

I must admit i worry abit about the gym an the 2ww and beyond but people have said it is fine, i think your body will tell you if you are over doing it, i go 4 times a week but will prob give him 4-12wks pregnant as i think you are really tired then and maybe go back aftet then to get fit for labour.

x

Natty1806 · 20/09/2006 19:37

sorry that was meant to say gove up for first three months.

JAG123 · 20/09/2006 20:41

Its for my results too.
I might ask the question about the gym when we go.
Hope all goes well on Friday.
