That's it really. I'm CD 6, having red days, planning my BD-ing & wandering if anyone else is in the same boat as me...?

Wow that's a long cycle Natty. I don't envy you, you poor thing.

We are a right bunch, you're right Jag !
The rash sounds nasty I hope you manage to sort it out soon. Has the doc given you anything or suggested a natural cream?

We may move to Surrey or West Sussex. DH is changing jobs within the company and so will be working from Croydon instead of London. We are looking for somewhere with good rail links to both.
The stressful bit is that it takes us 2 hours to get there so we can't just go at the drop of a hat. We haven't looked at any houses yet. Only looked them up on rightmove.
It's also an area that we don't know.
The sooner we get our house on the market and buy another the better. I hate this bit beforehand, it's so unsettling.
DH made the mistake of telling the children at the weekend because we were visiting Surrey.
DD1 was in tears saying that she doesn't want to move and doesn't want to change schools. She's only 5 and doesn't have close bonds with the girls at school so I was surprised. I was annoyed with DH for telling them. We haven't told our neighbours. WE thought it would be better to do that once we know it's definately happening but before the for sale sign goes up.

In the meantime DH is convinced that I am pg because of his 'moment of madness'. I have been so tired but I am cerytain it's this cold/bug that I have. Of course he's reading too much into it. I'm 100% certain that I'm not pg. Having read the Toni Welscher book from cover to cover (minus the irrelevant bits) over the past 3 days I am sure it was too early for anything to come of it. It's a good book though.
I will try temping next cycle, just to check out my cycle rather than anything else.

Anyway, I must go and clean as my parents are here for the weekend. That makes me sound awful. I do clean but I do a more thorough job (wash down skirting boards and doors) when my Mum is coming. It's a good thing she comes really!

BBW - I hope the next few weeks go well for you.
That sounds very time consuming - but worth it in the end.

Natty1806 · 30/08/2006 09:01

i know it's a right pain, hopefully this clomid will shorten them and make them regular.

What CD are you on?

Yes that rash sounds horrid, i have got spots at the moment that never seem to go away just move around my face - lovely!!! give me the pill back for clear skin. x

Maybe someone on here lives near or in surrey and can tell you the nice and not so nice areas to look at.

3catstoo · 30/08/2006 11:05

I have spots too ! We must all be going through the teenage phase again !

I ahve started a thread about places to live nr Croydon. People have been really helpful.

Hope the Clomid works for oyu.

Natty1806 · 30/08/2006 12:25

Thanks that's really nice of you.

Will keep you posted

3catstoo · 30/08/2006 15:01

Not sure what happened to my typing on that last post. Trying to type too fast. I'd make a lousy secretary.

JAG123 · 30/08/2006 19:11

That is a long cycle Natty I really hope the Clomid sorts it out. Will be keeping everything crossed for you.

I hope that someone can help you out re Croydon 3Cats. You never know re the pg front. Do you feel the same as you did with your other pgs?
Is the Toni Weschler book any good?
My DD is 5 also she goes into year 1 on Tuesday. Can't believe its gone so fast.

The Doc gave me some steroid cream for my face. I told him about ttc, but he said it would be ok for short term use & i can only apply twice a day. It does seem to have helped a little but i still have no clue what i am allergic to. My friends at work think its hilarious.

J

Natty1806 · 30/08/2006 20:14

The book is excellent it should be compulary read for every female it is very informative about things you should really know about but don't.

Thanks for your positive vibes, i really hope clomid works for me.

3catstoo · 30/08/2006 20:22

Hope that cream works fast then.
Strange for something to effect your face like that though.
Although DD2 had an allargic reaction to raspberries and her face was covered, more like blotches though.

Seems silly but I can't remember much about how I felt. I was about 6 weeks when I tested all 3 times. Only with DD2 I felt tired very early on but didn't put 2 and 2 together.
I have started getting some pre AF symptoms this evening though. The dreaded thrush. I get it every cycle a week before AF arrives. But I seemed to have it permanently during all of my pregnancies.
It's so easy to see things that are not there, IYSWIM.

The Toni Welscher book is great, IMO. It's stuff you may know already. I didn't know that sperm can last for 5 days. I thought it was 3 days no matter what. The book says that they can only survive if there is sufficient CM to keep them going. Plus they can survive for 5 days. She makes the point a few times that you can BD on Monday and still conceive on Friday.

The reason that I don't think I am pg is that I had no CM until after 'the event'. But I wasn't doing an internal examination so it could have started I guess.
Sorry that was probably far TMI.

AF should, in theory, arrive late next week. So I'll let you know.

Take care.

BBWBabeLisa · 01/09/2006 11:46

Morning all. How we all doing? It's the weekend!! Woooooo!
AF arrived this morning. CD 30. Will be starting to TTC from this cycle as blood sugars are pretty much controlled now. Had appt with docs first thing this morning for a fasting blood test requested by the pre-conception clinic. Made sure I pressed m button at 10am, as I didn't press it til midday last month and it was a real pain if I needed to go before 9am (with DD almost 8mths who wakes between 7.30 and 8.30 I really struggled some days!) 10am is just right coz it also means on a Saturday when DH gets up with DD and I get to lie in til lunchtime I'm ok for testing up til 1!

Natty1806 · 01/09/2006 11:57

Fingers crossed this is your month.

3catstoo · 01/09/2006 14:54

All the best.
at lie in til lunchtime ! Good for you.

3catstoo · 04/09/2006 09:49

Well I have confirmed by thoughts and put DH's mind at rest.
Call me impatient - I agree. I ordered some tests on Access Diagnostics. I did one this morning, CD 26, hopefully not too early, and it was BFN. for me but for DH.

Do you think that is a relible test on CD 26?
I've had all the symptoms that I get in the week before AF so am sure it will arrive this week.
I was so hoping that I was wrong.

Anyway how are you all doing? Did you all have a good weekend?

Natty1806 · 04/09/2006 12:07

Hi 3cats

Sorry to hear about the BFN maybe it is too early.

Had a good ish weekend we went to watch the red bull air race but it was cancelled as it was too windy so spent most of Saturday in the car.

Hows the face Jag?

I have doctors tomorrow to hopefully get drug to bring on AF but will be testing before i go as you have too but i know it will be a BFN, just really hope they don't try and fob me off. The fertility nurse did tell me to do this on CD42 so i am only following what she said but i am not seeing my normal gp as he is on holiday.

3catstoo · 04/09/2006 15:05

Still no AF Natty, how frustrating.
Fingers crossed that you get what you need tomorrow.

JAG123 · 04/09/2006 16:20

Hi ladies

Sorry about BFN 3Cats. I hope its just too early for you.

Natty I hope you get sorted so that you can start your clomid. It would be lovely if you tested & got a BFP but things never seem to work out like that do they. Still i will send positive thoughts your way.

Well after really getting my hopes up again AF arrived late Sat night. It got to me again this month as i got those nausea & sore boob symptoms back & no period pains. I'm starting to lose hope now its been a long time trying. Perhaps its just not meant to be & i'm very lucky to be blessed with a beautiful DD.
On the plus side my face is much better Thanks.

Take Care
J

Natty1806 · 04/09/2006 16:48

Thanks will fill you in with what happens tomorrow.

Natty1806 · 04/09/2006 16:49

Sorry to hear AF arrived Jag don't give up. x

3catstoo · 05/09/2006 09:27

Glad your face is better Jag. Any clues as to what caused it?
Sorry about AF.
You still have blood test results to get don't you? Hopefully that will shed light on things.
Have you got the Toni Welcher book?

Mine is due any day now. Had all the run up signs.

I hadn't expected a pos result but still felt a bit disappointed after the test anyway.

DH is talking of selling the pushchairs and highchair ! Not what I want to hear.

Take care

Let us know what happens today Natty.

Natty1806 · 05/09/2006 11:13

Hi

Have been to doctors and have the tablets that should have bring on a bleed going to start taking them today at lunch time.

sorry to hear AF is on her way 3cats and DH is talking of selling baby stuff.

3catstoo · 05/09/2006 14:43

Glad you got oyur tablets.
How quickly will they work?

Good Luck

Natty1806 · 05/09/2006 14:56

Not sure have been told to take them for 7 days so no idea if they will amke it start tomorrow or in a weeks time, have sent my brother an e mail who is a pharmasist.

JAG123 · 07/09/2006 20:38

Hi All

Natty - Any sign of AF yet? Have you found out how long the tablets take to work?

3cats - Hope your AF is still staying away.

Not sure what caused the rash. Think it may be Dove deo have used before but have bought a different flavour one. Might try it again to see if i get the same reaction so i will know. I haven't got the Toni Weshler book yet. Its on my list of to buys but have got DH & DD B/days coming up so it will have to wait for now. I'm feeling a bit better now. It was just having symptoms i don't usually have got my hopes up so even more disappointing when AF arrived. Have done both my bloods & DH has got sperm test next week so things are moving.

Take Care
J

Natty1806 · 08/09/2006 08:51

Hi Jag

the tablets work my giving me a similar hormone to the one normal ladies get before they have there period (progestrone) and then when i stop taking them i should bleed within a day or two, so should be on this time next week.

How long before you get blood results back?

BBWBabeLisa · 08/09/2006 14:41

Good luck with the pills natty!

Has AF come yet 3cats?

How you getting on Jag?

I'm in Glasgow at mo as GD is ill. CD 8 today, persona went red yesterday on CD7 (no testing required). Think it's just not got the hang of my cycle yet, as I don't ovulate til day 20 or thereabouts so cd7 seems a bit early for red days (but it is only the 2nd month using the machine again and I wasnt as reliable as I should have been about remembering to test last month). Will be home on Monday night so will be cd 11, so home in plenty of time for BD'ing nearer the time of ov. Having said that, we haven't managed to successfully BD yet since DD's birth (sorry if TMI but I have torn slightly both times we've tried so had to stop), so that may take a bit of perseverence if we want this month to be THE month.

3catstoo · 08/09/2006 19:21

Hi Ladies,

AF arrived yesterday
It's very very heavy. The worst I've had. Pain was bad all week in my stomach area. Made me think I need to convince DH or have the op fairly soon. I can't go on like this.

I was going to try charting/temping this month but forgot to take my temp yesterday and today. Not a good start.

Hope you all have a good weekend.

xxxxxx
