pecka........

wellieboots · 18/03/2011 12:28

oh my word! What you miss in a day on here!

for lunch I have made a selection of nibbles which we can all share - the buffet table is laden with various BFP friendly goodies - the cheese is not blue for example! Sandwiches, salad bowls, and a selection of hot nibbles for those who fancy that! Followed of course by a selection of cupcakes which I have made myself, with coffee and tea, and fruit juice for the bfpers!!

We need to celebrate - fab news on the job yellow I have been thinking of you and admiring your patience and it has paid off! So excited for you - are you allowed to tell us what it is yet or would you have to shoot us Grin

And harassed and wombat - CONGRATULATIONS!!! Absolutely awesome news :) Has made my day, I had good feelings about you two....

nurse it it so fab to see you, we have missed you! We were hoping you were OK, so glad to hear from you

waves to emma - hope the seduction plan went well, worm sparkly and pecka - hope things are OK in your worlds today.

waves to anyone I've forgotten!

yellowtomato · 18/03/2011 12:50

A good point worm.....pecka I have my beady eye on you now......

wellie thanks for all the goodies and the job support.....I really am excited and very relieved, I just couldn't take it anymore! It's not really that exciting...I don't want to out myself so let's just say it's in travel. Grin

nurse I'm sorry in my excitement I forgot to say that I'm so pleased and relieved for you that things are going well. So exciting to be nearly at the 12 week scan...

wombatinwaiting · 18/03/2011 13:30

ooooh wellie - you do spoil us - thank you v much for the goodies and congrats. I'm still feeling soooooo happy!

And yellow - more intrigue.... I wonder if we'll guess eventually!

OMG, just popped on quickly as parents due round any minute to whisk dh and myself to a cottage mini-break, and can't read effing quick enough!
Wombat, I'm so happy for you, yay!
Harassed, am so happy for you too!
Gargh, the fridge is empty of tomatoes...

Oh, it hasn't sunk in, I need to lie down. I'll be back on Sunday and will read and respond properly then, am so over the moon for you both. Much rather you than me!
Grin
Went to the loo just now and saw ewcm and actually out loud went "Oooooooooh"! Fingers crossed for me aswell this month, don't want to be left behind when you're all chuntering on about ankles and whatnot.
Yellow, congratulations! Great news, the country is a safter place with you in charge of security!
Nurse, hiya, we were worried.
Right, really got to go, hi Wormy and everyone else, have a lovely weekend and don't party too hard tonight, go easy on the elderflower wine ladies!

Oooh am in a good mood now.....xxx

Sparklywine · 18/03/2011 14:12

Sorry, hi Wellie, the buffet looks lovely. Have we any vodka jelly?

Travel eh, Yellow?

emmaandthestar · 18/03/2011 16:33

Well I won't partake in any of the alcoholic beverages on offer - just in case...
This seems like a lucky place to be right now huge CONGRATS to wombat, harrased and of course yellow!!!
Cupcakes, mmmm delicious, lucky we have some runners amongst us to burn it all off :)
Seduction wasn't the word I would use but it just needs to do the job, top ups on the way i think...

I used to ovulate on CD18ish and my cycles were quite long (32 days +) but I had first AF 6 weeks after ERPC and ovulated 14 days after the bleeding stopped so don't really know what I am doing now, I have falled pregnant 3 times (4 if you count the Chemical) so hope the next one is just as quick and sticks...

nurse47 · 18/03/2011 18:13

wombatinwaiting · 19/03/2011 04:48

Morning lovely ladies!

Good work on the "top usps" emma - still makes me laugh!

nurse, sparkly, pecka - thanks to you all for your really kind words - I feel quite choked up!

Loving the cheesy missiles sparkly - enjoy your weekend and great timing for the cottage mini-break with your ewcm (or are the parents with you making SWI a little trickier....?!)

Do your girlfriends know about your MC and TTC pecka? I'm sure you're getting well stuck into the party action now!

French posh nosh was a.m.a.z.i.n.g last night - I had 2 sips of DH's glass of champers and 1 sip of his red wine -deeeelish. There were so many complimentary amuse bouches, palate cleansers etc. that I reckon they alone could have constituted a dinner in themselves. My new favourite food is pineapple and coriander sorbet - to die for!

yellowtomato · 19/03/2011 09:05

Morning wombat oooh that does sound yummy. I am still in bed but my hunger may motivate mr to get up and get some brekkie!

I meant to tell you that my dp was in Dubai this am on his way to nz. Just for changing planes but you could have waved!

manamana · 19/03/2011 09:59

Ohmygoodness.... What a lot of fantastic news - woo-hoo!!!!!! I am so excited. Yellow, you truly deserved that job after all those stages of interview process - they're thorough aren't they!? And 2 bfps - woweeeeeee. Wombat and harassed - yippeeeeee. How many have we got altogether now? Definitely a lucky thread, although I think that the swanky new surroundings and abundant snacks and beverages may be the reason! Nurse, great to hear that scan was good and date for next one is soon.
Hello new people, sorry you have cause to be here but lovely to meet you.
Sorry to hear about insensitive dps, hope things continue to improve and lots of swi gets done. Good luck to everyone with ewcm.
I have been in hiding, found it really cope to build up to 13 week scan but finally had it yesterday and all is well- a wriggly little baby in there! Very relieved but think it's going to take a while for it to sink in properly.
Take care everyone and yippppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! X

wombatinwaiting · 19/03/2011 10:24

What wonderful news mana - lovely to hear from you and great to read about the positive scan - yay! Smile

That's v funny re: your DP being here - I guess he's flying Emirates then so I'll give him a wave on his way back! Whereabouts in NZ is he going and does he do something as top secret as you'll be?! More importantly, did you SWI just as he was heading out the door to ensure a "top up"? Grin What's your start date for your new job by the way? Thought of you last night while dining as we had some amazing duck dish from Dombes(?I think?) and vaguely remember you saying something about duck on your last French hol..... Roast beef with all the trimmings for us tonight - yum!

Waves to all who are here and not gallivanting this weekend!

I think it's likely to be a bit quiet on this thread this weekend as there's a fair bit of ewcm around Grin

OP posts:
yellowtomato · 19/03/2011 10:45

Yay mana that is such lovely news...must be such a relief to get through such a significant hurdle. It seems to me to have gone fast but I'm sure it has been an agony for you....at least you can relax a little more now.....

yeh he is flying Emirates, he works in the city. He's going to Auckland first, day trip to Christchurch then Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. All in one week...he's not going to be good for much when I get him back, so luckily he took the afternoon off to 'top me up' before he went. Ov does not seem to have been detected yet so it'd better hurry up or it'll be too late

Not heard of anywhere called Dombes...but DP is from duck country, it's all about the confit de canard, cassoulet, fois gras etc down there. Your all about the food right now aren't you???

I'm off out into town to have a little mooch by the river as it is a beautiful sunny day with clear blue skies.....still a bit chilly but I need to make the most of that sun. Maybe it will help my egg appear to meet all the little swimmers that are there waiting

sparkly good luck with your SWI, sounds like a perfectly timed weekend.

nurse sorry that you are still being sick....poor you. Hope it eases off for you soon.

Right, must get on hope you all have drunken/SWI/relaxing weekends. (delete as appropriate)

wombatinwaiting · 19/03/2011 11:08

A ha yellow! Ton amie est Francais! Comment merveilleuse! J'espere que ses petit swimmers sont fortes et t'oeuf va arriver tres vite!

This is supposed to say "Your partner is French! How marvellous! I hope that his little swimmers are strong and your egg is going to arrive very quickly!" - it's been a long time since I had to write proper French - can you tell? Grin

OP posts:
yellowtomato · 19/03/2011 11:21

tee hee, perfectly understandable french...I thought I'd told you he was French? Oooh la la, he is indeed.

Wormshuffler · 19/03/2011 12:35

Excellent news manamamma and I so admire your patience waiting until 13 weeks!!

I am like a Dog on heat today.......I am swimming EWCM and last night we both fell asleep [panic emocion] today I have been miserable with DH as he knew I was after him last night LOL. Like it's his fault I fell asleep . I said to him...." can't you just put some in a pot and let me help myself"? [demented emocion] Poor lad is working overnight so we HAVE to do it today! with the kids around is not going to be easy!! Might have to send them off to the shop with money for ice creams Wink

Ok yellow.... I have sussed out who you are.... It's Judith Charmers Ladies!!! Grin

wombatinwaiting · 19/03/2011 12:46

A ha! Of course it is worm! Not only are you an Olympic medal EWCM producer contender, but you're also an ace detective! Now go send those tiddlers to the shops! Grin

Oooh la la indeed yellow - does he have a very sexy accent? Grin

yellowtomato · 19/03/2011 20:15

Hahaha worm it's a good guess! Hope you managed to dtd today. I think you are fertile until the ewcm dries up so it's still all good.

pecka have my fingers crossed for you.

Do any of you watch greys anatomy? A funny scene this week as they are ttc and were having a row. Then she announces I'm ovulating but can't look at you cos I'm so angry and he just says turn over then.

And yes he has a v strong French accent!

Made me do a wry smile, seems the ttc rowing and stress is universal!

yellowtomato · 19/03/2011 20:56

Sorry last 2 sentences wrong way round! Stupid phone.
