If you are TTC after Miscarriage (or waiting to start trying again), this is the place to be. This thread is full of lots of lovely ladies on the post MC rollercoster and is full of support and advice from people who have been through it, and know what you are going through.
Jump on board and join in the for some laughter, crying or even the odd ranting (whatever you need). There?s lots of Wine, Brew (caffeine free of course Smile ) and chocolate, and more importantly, friendly ?ears?.

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Don?t be afraid to ask anything ? nothing is ever TMI!!!

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length
WFT cycle = what the f*uck cycle (cycle after mc but before first AF)
For more accronyms see here

Good luck to all ? The last one was a lucky thread for lots of people so here's hoping for lots more healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread Grin

This is the previous thread

Stats to follow.

Collie2 · 05/03/2011 15:59

blackkat xpost hope you're ok today. I think you deserve a Wine tonight for painting your frames. We have diy to be getting on with, really should take a leaf out of your book. Smile

OP posts:
Blackkat · 05/03/2011 16:05

Grin Collie, you don't know that I started the paint the frame last August, so it was about time I got my arse in gear!! Grin I will indulge in a Wine tonight, enjoy your fizz (that so needs an emoticon!).

meliesmummy · 05/03/2011 16:24

Thanks all.

blackkat before my mc I always spotted for a few days before af (looks as if mc has messed up all our usual cycles doesn't it?) and when I calculated my edd the midwife said to count from the spotting, so it's prob the same for CDs too?

collie enjoy your weekend!

At least if im having af I can open some wine later, silver linings and all that (altho I had planned on swi too, guess that's out the window, dh is gutted!)

MumTumWanted · 05/03/2011 16:29

thank goodness i tried to catch up on the olde thread ... youve all run away and left me ! just q quick update ( as ever as you know in the cupboard typing away silently ..)

mouse fingers crossed everything is ok for you today

milkyway big welcome to you sorry that you have found yourself here but everyone is lovely ( though fond of fish slapping )

banana fingers crossed its the good stuff ( ive no isdea how feel for the Cm correctly either but back on the last thread there was some very good advice.

collie no symptom spotting for the next 2 weeks ..... a glass of Wine says i dont believe you ..... haddock at the ready..

hey to cep hows things for you ???

waves to all iove missed ...

as for me ... still no af..... temp steady ( though no idea wtf that means ) and POAS ( yes thats now the 4th and im not due to monday ) pass the haddock ... still a bfn....

Chloe55 · 05/03/2011 16:48

milkyway I def know what you mean about planning around a MC Sad No matter how grim it sounds, It's bad when you have had just one but to have 2,3,4 etc it just gets disheartening. I am not booking my July holiday just in case I fall pg and will be less than 14 weeks - if I am not pg by July then I will book a last minute deal. Couldn't bear to be away from home and MC - it was hard enough being down in Brighton for my last one but at least my stepdad drove to get me straight away (or it would have been a train journey) Bless him, he did a 9 hour round trip in one go for me.

Collie Enjoy London! I haven't had a dip - all my temps post ov have been above average, should I have dipped at implantation? I will post my chart if anyone wants to have a look and give me some insight.

No idea if this works but think I followed Ceps instructions correctly:

www.fertilityfriend.com/cg/index.php?c=browse

Chloe55 · 05/03/2011 16:50

Nope all I appear to have done is add the whole lot of charts from the gallery!

Does this work:

www.fertilityfriend.com/ttc/index.php?interface=

mousebacon · 05/03/2011 19:15

Hey, I'm home. BP is still low so I'm a bit woosy and sore but it's done. I have a night of rubbish tv ahead of me.

Will update properly tomorrow xx

hadrian · 05/03/2011 19:16

I've got so much to catch up on! I've been lurking all week but just don't seem to be able to find time to write at the moment.

mouse I'm so sorry to hear you've been having such an awful time. I hope everything goes OK tomorrow and that you can treat yourself to something lovely some time soon.

milky welcome to the thread. I'm sorry for your losses and will go and have a read of your other thread to see what's going on with you.

I'm sure there are lots of other new people who I haven't met yet - looking forward to getting to know you a little more over the next few weeks although fx you won't be here for too long!

Just to introduce myself - I'm ttc my first and had a MC at Christmas. I had a very long WTF cycle and am now in the middle of my first proper cycle. Absolutely NO SIGN of ov yet which is very frustrating but it should be any day now...if indeed I do ov this month...oh it all still feels like mission impossible.

(waves) to cep, collie, chloe, blackat and all you other lovely ladies.

Good evening ladies

mouse glad you are home and that it's done, hope you are feeling a bit better tomorrow, when are you next due bloods/a scan?

Hope you are all having a lovely Saturday evening. Dds tucked into bed, Dh has gone for a takeaway, the wines open and I'm looking forward to a bit of tv and an early night (I'm always wiped out the day after work). I'm still bleeding, still fresh blood but it's slowed right down, not sure what that means but it's doing my head in, mainly bcos I don't know if it's af or what! I'm assuming it is tho and going to count as if it is.

lily06 · 05/03/2011 19:26

Evening ladies,

Just a quickie as in the car and its too bumpy to type properly. On our way to a trade show that's on tomorrow, so having a night away Wink. Bit confused with FF as its not showing any crosshairs yet, but temp is all over the place. Had a rise past three days, which I thought might be ov? If anyone would care to take a look its at www.fertilityfriend.com/home/lily06. Not sure I'm quite managing the SMEG plan, but giving it my best shot!

OOh, just noticed FF have changed their layout and colours - very nice.

mousebacon · 05/03/2011 19:45

I've not been offered any follow up - I'll just do it myself again Sad

LILI80 · 05/03/2011 19:46

melis sounds like your AF to me. When I mc is took 6 weeks for AF to arrive but when it did it was full on straight away and then just stopped after 3 days. A week later I had another bleed for 3 days which wasn't as heavy as the first. I went to my doctor who said that because of what my body's been through it's just sorting itself out so to begin with you can have a couple of bleeds.

See this as a good thing and that your body is getting back to normal ready to conceive again Smile

Now i def do need to be fish slapped as my DD was just sitting there having her tea when she said I want a baby brother, "where is my baby brother" I've been thinking maybe my DD is picking up on something and maybe i'm pg! God how crazy am I?

meliesmummy · 05/03/2011 19:51

Thanks LILI. I was just thinking and realised that my af came back really quickly after my dd was born too, even the I bf, it just must be me! And I've thought that too when dd says there's a baby in my tummy, it's not just you!

:( to no follow up mouse

Now where is dh with that food? I'm starving!

Iggly · 05/03/2011 19:53

mouse look after yourself and rest up. How are your iron levels? Might be worth taking spatone to help boost you.
mel my af was and still is bright red post MC. very weird - it's longer and heavier too. I figure my body is sorting itself out. Also was on the pill for 8 years so can't remember what they were like before then!

Blackkat · 05/03/2011 22:02

mouse glad you are home, hope you are feeling a bit better tomorrow, good on you for being persistent, but total bollox that you have to be. ((hugs)) x

Fish readily available for mumtum and lili Grin

Hadrian hoping that o/v turns up for you soon, lovely to hear you are ok Smile

mel sounds like a lovely evening, really does sound like AF, think lili is right, try to stop worrying - remember clear uterus on scan and -ve test....

Waves to iggly, cep, olis, lily, banana, Milkyway, chloe, collie, ninu, shorty, laylas, brooke, mumtum, zam and all you other lovely ladies, hope you're having a good evening, and clinks Wine Sorry cep!

milkyway2007 · 05/03/2011 22:38

chloe55 That is terrible your mc'd away from home - you truely realise how important family is at times like that.

hadrian Hope that you ov soon x

meliesmummy I read your other post, and I too think it is AF - sometimes you ovulate earlier and I see it as a good sign that your body is in good working order.

Hi to everyone else - hope you're all having a lovely saturday night!

cep · 06/03/2011 08:58

morning all, hope you're all ok.

lili you asked for fish sooo <

mel i think the others are correct, you had an all clear scan and a -ve test so sounds like af to me.

chloe not everyone has an ov or implantation dip. i certainly didn't have an implant one.

hadrian ov can be delayed if you've been stressed. hopefully it'll be here anyday now. remind me are you doing any checks? temps cm etc.

mouse hope you're feeling better today.

mumtum hi hon how is everything going? i'm ok at the moment thankyou, i haven't had anymore blood.

blackkat i was always told to cound cd1 as first day of fresh red flow, and that's what i have always done.

mel enjoy your wine.

collie hope you enjoyed London hon.

sorry if i've missed anyone there was loads of chatter yesterday. Grin

Chloe55 · 06/03/2011 09:35

Oh dear, I am a little hung over Sad Did really well at the beginning of the night, making drinks last for hours at a time but once I'd had a glass or two of bubbly I slipped a bit Blush Didn't get to bed til 3.30am either, after a painful session on Singstar Grin I didn't feel particularly drunk all night though but I know I consumed a fair amount.

However, on wiping this morning there was still a bit of pinky/brown discharge but have been crampy and sicky this morning (I am not usually a sicky person when drinking) so, still non the wiser and wasn't at home first thing so couldn't do a FMU test but no doubt will cave and do one later! I bet I end up spending money on a FR or CB or something at this rate even though I swore I wouldn't this month!

Mouse Glad you are home but Angry at your lack of after care, that's terrible.

meliesmummy · 06/03/2011 09:52

Chloe sounds like a good night! You need a fish slap tho (sorry can't draw one!)

I won't be enjoying any wine this morning cep, it's not even 10:00 Grin!

Chloe55 · 06/03/2011 09:55

I really do need a slap, I'm doing my own head in now! Grin

LILI80 · 06/03/2011 10:20

thanks for fish cep & blackkat

chloe glad you had a good night. Have to say if I had that sort of discharge I would be getting excited Grin sorry I'm not helping!!!

I am now on CD27 oh god how am I going to stay strong this week!! Shouldn't really test until next sunday or possibly even next Monday! Arrgghh!

and anyone I've missed xx

shorty100 · 06/03/2011 10:20

Morning everyone, mouse glad your home and hope you start to feel better soon. X

hadrian · 06/03/2011 10:26

Morning chloe this is for you my dear < < <

Although it does sound quite promising...! Keep us posted.

Glad you had a good night out. I've been trying not to drink too much but I've got no discipline at all. Ended up having a boozy meal out on Friday. I do feel a bit guilty but then I don't want ttc to totally dominate my life iykwim.

Speaking of which, good news here...I don't do temps but I did get a positive ov test this morning so we're going to be busy for the next couple of days!
