Gah! Brian's making his presence known in my life this week. Just dashed to the airport thinking I was late to collect dh only to find I'm an hour early for his flight!

PinkFondantFancy · 03/03/2011 20:26

mamap that is what I keep trying to repeat over and over in my head, except there's a competing shouty voice that keeps yelling "but I want it to work sooooooo muuuucccccchhhhhhh" - do you have this?? How do you make it shush?? I had a bit of a strop this morning because I trotted happily to Tescos thinking of tooty fruities and they didn't bloody sell them!!! So I had fruit mentos which were a rubbish substitute....

PinkFondantFancy · 03/03/2011 20:50

Do you reckon she was pregnant: crazed mum

KnitterNotTwitter · 03/03/2011 20:51

oooh mammap splendid snog action

mamapower · 03/03/2011 21:01

oh pinks we all have that voice hon. I am just enjoying being pregnant today and looking forward to each tomorrow and the future and I can't/won't get wound up about something that may or may not happen, because it won't stop it happening... what will be will be, whether I like it or not. I refuse to let that murky voice in my head ruin my pregnancy... it's a toughy Smile
I can understand your upset at fruit mentos substitute... eeeew, they don't come close!

mamapower · 03/03/2011 21:02

why thank you knitter not bad yourself Wink

AandRMum · 03/03/2011 21:03

PMSL Pink most definitely updiffed. My crazy friend at Uni once did a full on toddler tantrum in a supermarket once (primarily to freak me out) Little did she know that as the Aunt of 13 nephews and nieces I was well versed in tantrums and simply stepped over her - very bewildered onlookers!

I am feeling the same conflicting mantras Pink - I have a feeling for me it is just going to be time. I keep saying to myself - 'There is nothing I can do to change the outcome, so let go of it'.

If you need a good laugh - head over to the Life Lessons in discussions of the day.

Ladybee · 03/03/2011 21:11

I am lurking, yes Blush. God I'm such a pregnancy junkie, I love all the pregnant chat, it's one of the things that pisses me off so much about the miscarriages - I'm a really good preggo Grin Oh well, maybe I'll get my chance later this year (crosses fingers)

Glad to see more good scans, I really hope it continues.

I had my ERPC yesterday, and it all went smoothly - lovely lovely consultant and anaesthetist and very sympathetic nurses. Emotionally, Tuesday was rough and today has been ok, but a bit teary while putting the maternity clothes that I'd just found and taken down from the cupboard back in their box Sad.

I'm not giving up hope, but am feeling very sad that there won't be an addition to our family this year - my dearest wish now is that I'll see the year out pregnant and happy in our new country.

I'll be hanging about I'm sure...thanks for thinking of me, it does mean a lot.

PinkFondantFancy · 03/03/2011 21:13

Oh by the way, i cant remember who posted it but the thought of your little boy being chuffed with his dinosaur pants has made me smile all day :) such a sweet story!

AandRMum · 03/03/2011 21:15

LadyB fab to 'see' you Glad you made it through today. It is truly crappy and I hope you get a lovely Christmas pressie or at least a lovely bump to be rubbing. When do you head off?
