Izzy is your acupuncturist a specialist or general? I've never tried it (terrible with needles), but wonder if its worth a try - someone did say you don't see or feel the needles really.

Have you seen this? Yum don't mind if I do!

Wow loola I'm loving the !!!

lily my acupuncturist specialises in fertility, she told me about 80% of her work is fertility based. She is absolutely fab and I love it (and no it doesn't hurt at all). Am a complete convert, having been very sceptical to start with! The aim for me was to get my cycles back into order after the mc and try to get into the best possible state for conception. She's also been brilliant at checking my charts and letting me know when she thinks I'm going to ov and things like that. Definitely recommended.(if you're anywhere near Bristol I'm happy to pass in details)

Anyway, cake's in the oven so I'll pass round a few glasses while we're waiting x

Hi ladies, just had a total freak out because I took a pg test and it was still positive. Phoned the ward but they said that was totally normal and that it might actually take another 2 or 3 weeks for my hormones to settle down. Ugh. This is what I want...

1. bleeding to stop
2. sore boobs and fat tummy to bugger off
3. AF to arrive in record time
4. body to lay a nice, juicy, VIABLE egg
5. Have a BFP that sticks

Is that too much to ask?!

In the meantime I shall settle for lots of this...

Dashes in quickly to share some of the stockpile of cakes I accidentally managed to buy at the supermarket today.

lily as aandr says I too am a complete acupuncture convert. I promise it's not actually like needles that they'd take blood with or anything - I've never actually even seen them while they're in and it doesn't hurt. The first time it was a little bit uncomfortable but I think that was mainly because I had no idea what to expect and was a bit tense! But I thought I'd give it another go and have never looked back. Where are you based? The lady I see is lovely and she's got clinics in a few places, I think Chelsea and St Albans. Maybe somewhere else too. There's a fertility acupuncture network for acupuncturists that specialise in it - hopefully there's someone in your area. Definitely worth a try.

mummya really glad the counselling went so well and that DH is on board for more sessions.

izz you might be interested to know that I was getting low on the CBFM and then suddenly went straight to peak last cycle, v. weird.

chloe which did you go for? I think first response is more sensitive but has a bit of a reputation for giving a bit of a weedy second line even if you are definitively updiffed so maybe get both so you've got a backup in case the first response is inconclusive?

that's interesting about the cbfm. I've been doing cheapie opks as well in the afternoon, and today's had a faint second line so i think I'm gearing up to ov - will be interesting to see what the cbfm does (still going to bin it next cycle though!)

Oooh izz my things to make and do OPK chart I made where I stuck them all down onto a sheet of cardboard showed that when I got a faint second line it went strong v. quickly, within a day or max 2. Looking good hun!

just a quicky as about to put ds to bed. I had a friend request on ff but when i click on the homepag or pm it just goes blank. isn't it supposed to show who it is??

AandR I didn't really bleed much after the op just had some brown stuff (tmi) that came and went for a couple of weeks after the op.

Sign me up for the SMEP think it will give me something to focus on and knowing DH he will be more than up for DTD on a regular basis

The list looks odd these days, doesn't it? The TTC list is shorter than either the grads or the recent bfps!! Which is absolutely fantastic of course, but after so long of having a huuuuge list to shuffle every time it's updated, it just looks a bit odd!
