I really don't know. She's always made it clear she feels that way but when I ask why she just says she worries that I might not cope, or about my health etc and comes up with lots of reasons to delay. I do wonder whether she found it hard when I was born.

Shhhh, no more talk of chocolate pudding. I'm trying to be good today. Porridge and fruit salad so far.....but the biscuits are oh so close!

No livestock in the shop but still a bit smelly from the various feeds etc.

Hello to the newbies I wouldn't have got where I am without the support of these girls and as I am paranoid about another mc, I wouldn't be surviving these early days without them either hope your stay is short and sweet

lily thats really sad. That must be hard if you are usually really close. Have you thought about asking her? It must be really hard not being able to lean on her about this and to think she might think you are not ready. Maybe you are right, maybe she struggled. How old is she? Do you think could be something to do with her not wanting to be a granny....?? I can't imagine that making her behave that way, but we all do strange things when we are in a funny place ourselves.

I did wonder about that, Collie - she's a very young 62 and I think it would definately make her feel older. In her defence she has always been very practical so perhaps she just sees that side of things. I think its why I've put off TTC for so long.

lily That's just what i was thinking, might be more her thinking she's too young.....?

thankfully i only work part time, ds in nursery till 13:00 so i work 8:15 - 12:45.

ooh choc pud (sorry lily) i just had a small bit of toast with choc spread and another bit with peanut butter....diet's going really well here.

pooch i just had an af (all be it a weird one) and i was still testing for pg.

oooh at epo evening out hormones, and put's whole chemist on shopping list.

yrmotb yes it's grapefruit juice (pink tastes better) EPO and cough medicine. Serious qu: which do you think has least weight watchers points?!

re: grapefruit juice. I only tried it once, I did one tall glass a day for three days around mid cycle on the fourth day I got massive quantities of EGCM for about 3 days. Really massive. If i can find some I am going to start drinking it straight away from CD1 all the way until ov. Shame it looks and tastes like bile though.

EPO, I reckon. I would feel cheated having to count cough medicine as some of my points though..

I have found the massive dose of Vitamin E has done wonders for my skin, it all went hellishly pimply for the first month, but has settled into a lot clearer now. A nice side effect. I must remember to put the Pink Grapefruit juice on the shopping list. I did buy a massive thing of Beetroot juice once 'cos I read it lowers BP. I had to throw it away, even DP wouldn't drink it

I had a v nice healthy lunch, and then ruined it by eating 3 portions of carrot cake. I'm getting fat, and it's not funny. SORT IT OUT YRMOTB. Off to the gym tonight, and then home to watch Big Fat Gypsy wedding and Shameless. I love Tuesday nights.

Oh yeah! Big Fat Gypsy Wedding night, love it. Dh hates it though, mainly for the fact that he says they aren't even gypsies because most of them live in houses now-a-days. He has a point I guess.

chloe i love bfgw some of the dresses are lovely if a bit too huge. did you see last weeks?? and the thread that went with it about the mother?

this talks about grapefruit juice and how much..... just a small glass - 8oz ?? i don't 'do' Oz's but doesn't sound like a lot

collie it's always been bad on a monthly cycle, although 800mg vit e really helps, daily. It was horrendous after I gave birth to ds, and always goes quite bad when pg, I'm just a slave to my hormones,I guess! The first month made it worse, if anything, then it got a lot better.

chloe just read on here about clomid possiblity of making cm hostile, were you warned about that at all?

apparently boots sell robitussin. wonder if you have this and grapefruit you get a super effect.

with the epo does it matter if you don't start on cd1??

Yes Cep - it's a right laugh, not only has it given me shitty side effects but it also hates dh's baby makers and even if I manage to get through all that it can also increase chances of MC so that on top of my endometriosis and PCOS I will be a walking miracle to get through 9months!! Be warned if I do get pg ladies, you think other people have been fretting on here? You ain't seen nothing yet

I feel I should lock my way in a little room for a few months and def not have access to google!!

oh dear, it's like reading the info sheet and finding side effects are worse than original illness. Sorry it's so complecated. did you read the thing about the cough medicine?? It was saying can reverse effects on cm.
