mummya i ordered some preseed the other day. Am a bit about it all to be honest, never used it before so not quite sure how much to use. although apparently it's all supposed to be measured out, and there was a comment about using it 15 mins before dtd.

Has anyone used it before?? if so how did you find it?

sorry loola! There are actually loads of us who have been here 6 months or more, BOA, getawiggle chloe kat knitter and I am sure that some of the others have been TTC a long time before mc even if they havent been on the thread so long.

I just mentioned these three because they were here posting.

But anyway, those stats count for you too, I really think the longer you have waited, the greater your chances not vice versa

Izz if only I could get pregnant by peeing on more sticks. The job would be done in no time!

re: preseed Look away now if you dont want TMI

I used it, but not per instructions. Just smeared it about really. I discovered that it goes sticky really quickly on contact with air, so not great if you end up with it all over your thighs, bit of a turn off actually.
I was also a bit about needing to squirt it in with the applicator first, it would work out v expensive that way as you use quite a lot. Also hard to do if you are trying to make sex spontaneous and fun. I came to the conclusion that if you have EGCM thats got to be better right? But its another thing to try if I dont get updiffed soon. Worked for HKlady

collie and cep I know what you mean about wanting to get pg straight away.

I'm really deparate even though my cycle is all over the place!

I took a test last night and it was BFN which I thought it would be but couldn't help testing anyway.

The only thing is I keep telling myself well maybe it's not showing up because I tested at night or maybe because I used a cheapy pg test from the £1 shop of all places! :)

Today I have been at work looking at my calendar wondering when I could have ov'd and when I should do another test. ahh it's driving me mad !

Think my AF will appear soon though as was getting pains today that were definitely in my womb, rather than being to my side as they have been.

Is hard to be around here such a long time. Like everyone else, had hoped for a shorter stay! Especially since cycle 5 seemed to be lucky for a lot of people. But I know that some people on cycle one or two are actually on round three of trying so have been here just as long and with a harder time.
Have missed diffed by due date deadline and had total meltdown at weekend but feeling better now. On day period started went to party where newly diffed lady present. Was not good!

kat I feel your pain. It's bloody hard. As you say, there are, sadly, quite a few of us who have been around for a while now, or had been trying for ages before their mc, or who are on their third or fourth round of ttc after mc. It's heart-breaking really because I'd just love you all (and me!!) to get diffed quickly with a sticky healthy bean. But we are here, so we had better just stick together and make the most of it. Our time will come!!! x

mummya hmm, if it just gets smeared around would it go in enough? i just found this I got it for £13 on amazon. for 9 applications. which would last me about 2 months.

One of the comments about it said it was too much. i'll wait and see what it's like.

kat i understand the missed deadline. my new one is December this year (one year after my dd). Surely it will be my turn by then??

Lol cep just looked at that link...I'm sure it makes it sound worse than it actually is, but just reading all about the sanitary application of preseed is a bit of a passion-killer! . I just don't see how it gets incorporated into the business with any degree of spontaneity!!

velvet I'm trying so steer clear of deadlines having completely missed the due date one. Originally we said we would give it a year from the mc (beginning of July) after which the age gap would be getting a bit big and we would call it a day. Trouble is, it doesn't seem so far away now and feels like it's coming up fast!! Last time I discussed it with dh we agreed to ditch the deadline for now and just see how we get on, but realistically we can't just keep going forever. Hmm...a bfp in 2011 doesn't seem too much to ask for, does it?

ooooh I just read it too, thats very unsexy! I dont think I would feel like "proceeding to intercourse" after that! Was it written by a Victorian?

oddly, its really making me want to try it next month though!

oh i wish i could get dh to ditch deadline, he wouldn't even restart it after mc, still counts from sept.

maybe dh could read it in a sexy voice "insert the tip of the Pre-Seed applicator into your vagina while standing and squeeze to release the lubricant into your vaginal canal." he said in a deep breathless voice.
