Hi there,

TTC #2, starting this month.
Anybody else out there thinking new year, new baby?

Currently OV, first attempts this month.

A tiny bit sick. Hoping, hoping. We're away on holiday just now and get back on Saturday. I'll do a Clearblue digi when we get back to see if it's going up and I'll make an appointment for my GP for next Wed (it's the one day I don't work). Will be really pushing to be seen at EPU though, I think, unless some miraculous massive increase I symptoms occurs between now and then.

Thanks for asking.

LPO, still thinking of you - how are you?

LPO · 23/06/2011 09:58

I hope that everything is ok Wicket the fact your symptoms have come back again is a very good sign! Fingers crossed for you. How many weeks are you at now?

All ok here. Only 2 weeks post MC so waiting for AF to arrive. DH and I have been talking and we're going to see what happens over the next couple of months. Not going to do SWI and tracking etc, but not going to protect either. Just see what nature wants to do and then if nothing happens start TTC properly again in a few months.

I was putting so much pressure on myself and I need a couple of months off that.

Hi LPO, good to hear from you. I remember feeling in limbo waiting for AF after the MC and being almost relieved when it came. I think you're being v sensible.

I reckon I'm 5+3 today. Not confident but there is a tiny grain of hope.

blue22 · 23/06/2011 13:01

Can you request an early scan wicket to put your mind at rest?
My AF was is due sometime between yesterday and saturday. Just POAS though and it was BFN. Burst into tears in the loo at work. Just so tired of the hope and then feeling like I've failed again. And now of course is the stupid thoughts like 'well, maybe it's because it's not FMU' etc etc.
Sorry for the whinge, just so depressed today by it all.
LPO glad you're ok, and you're so right to just take the pressure off for a few months. It's just such a rough ride, and Jan seems a long time ago that we started doesn't it! Sad

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 23/06/2011 15:07

blue, I've made an appointment with my GP on Wed and hoping to be referred to EPU.

BTW, if it gives you hope AF was due this month on the Sunday (perhaps the Monday). I poas on the Thurs evening and it was BFN - then BFP on the Sat with FMU (v faintly, though). So you're not out the running yet!

blue22 · 23/06/2011 15:12

Thanks wicket - The pack came with 2 so I'll do the other one in the morning with FMU and see what it says.

Hope the doc refers you and you get good news at the scan.
And hope you're still feeling sick in the nicest possible way!!! Grin

LPO · 23/06/2011 19:35

Good luck to you this month Blue.

Wicket how long did it take for your AF's to get back to normal again after your mc? Doctor said to expect it about 3 weeks after, but not sure how regular it'll be again after that to work out OV etc.

OP posts:
blue22 · 24/06/2011 09:10

So I tested again and BFN. Feel crampy too so sure AF will appear either today or tomorrow.
Oh well - onto the 7th cycle then.....!!

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 24/06/2011 10:06

Sorry, blue.

LPO, if you counted the first day of my MC bleeding as CD1, then I had a 30 day cycle from then. That was pretty short for me as I've always been pretty irregular but around 33-34 days. I assumed it was just an up-the-creek cycle post-MC, but the weird thing is that my cycle has been more regular and shorter since then - always 29 or 30 days. It's weird.

I didn't use OPKs for a couple of months ie until we felt ready to try again, but did from then as I just wasn't confident about what was happening with my cycle ( and would have missed the boat had I gone with my "usual" cycle length). I felt it was the right thing for me - but TBH if I wasn't an old granny with the clock ticking loudly in my ear I would have preferred to just go with the flow.

LPO · 24/06/2011 10:41

Sorry Blue I was on my 8th cycle before MC, as we tried in December and also I have only 26 day cycles.
Thanks for that Wicket feeling really like AF today and yesterday, but am only 2 weeks post mc. Will just have to wait and see if it appears.

Saw GP today who was lovely and is referring me to EPU - just waiting for the phone to ring...

Pretty concerned as symptoms fairly patchy. Sad

Hope everyone's doing ok.

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 29/06/2011 10:05

Wowee - scan at 11.50 today!

LPO · 29/06/2011 11:42

Good luck Wicket Let us know how you get on at the scan!
Nothing to report here, still waiting for 1st AF post mc.

OP posts:
TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 29/06/2011 13:21

Well, there's a tiny 3mm person in there, in the right place with no evidence of bleeds and best of all there's a minute heart going like the clappers!

Smile
LPO · 29/06/2011 13:30

Congratulations! You must be so pleased!!

OP posts:
BeeMyBaby · 30/06/2011 06:38

Congratulations! How far along did they say that made you wicket?

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 30/06/2011 06:55

Thanks guys, I'm delighted! It's too early to do accurate dating yet but it's in keeping with my dates, which would make me nearly 6 and a half weeks. Now back to routine dating scan around 12 weeks.

LPO · 02/07/2011 17:10

So I'm feeling really shitty today. Expecting AF at some point, but no idea whether after an mc it comes at 3 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks or whatever so just waiting on it arriving and feeling very PMT today and yesterday. Anyway, I know it sounds really silly but I think it'll hit me again when it arrives, part of me is thinking 'there may be a tiny minute chance I didn't mc' which is totally ridiculous because the doc confirmed it and the test results all came back negative. But anyway, my stupid mind playing tricks on me.

OP posts:
TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 02/07/2011 23:11

LPO, I know just where you're coming from. I had very mixed feelings about my first post MC AF (although mainly relief).

There is no particular way you "should" feel. The whole thing is just shitty and you just need to survive. Lots of empathy and sympathy from me.

LPO · 04/07/2011 17:38

AF just started.

OP posts:
TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 04/07/2011 17:54

Thinking of you.

BeeMyBaby · 18/07/2011 14:54

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 23/07/2011 08:52

Also checking in to find out how LPO (and everyone else!) is.

LPO · 29/07/2011 19:26

Nothing much to report here. On my 2nd cycle now post mc.
How are you and your growing bumps doing?

OP posts:
BeeMyBaby · 15/08/2011 13:19

Its all going fine... may I ask when your next AF is due? Have you started trying yet again?
