Hi there,

TTC #2, starting this month.
Anybody else out there thinking new year, new baby?

Currently OV, first attempts this month.

I just thought maybe the dr could do an hcg test for you? But maybe you're right, as you'd probably have to wait for the results the same amount as time as retesting next week. I'm thinking of you.

eurochick · 09/06/2011 15:17

I'm sorry to hear you are bleeding LPO. :(

Virtual hugs.

LPO · 09/06/2011 17:10

I phoned my doctor and he said that he wants me to go in tomorrow to have some blood tests done to check the hcg levels.
Still bleeding and feeling very achy.
Thank you for your kind thoughts. DS is keeping me on my toes today and driving me mad as usual.

Oh LPO, I'm so, so, sorry. As you know, I know what you're going through. It's bloody, bloody awful. There's nothing I can say to make it better, but please accept a hug.

As for me, I have felt really weird all day and really sick when needing to eat so blooming well cracked and did a test. BFN. DH trying to tell me it's far too early and that I can't say anything based on that, but I think it's another month out the window for me.

LPO · 10/06/2011 11:18

Thanks Wicket My fingers are crossed for you. When is you AF due? It could still be early, best to wait rather than keep getting yourself down by testing to early.

LPO · 10/06/2011 18:02

Test results have come back to confirm a miscarriage.

Big hugs from me. I'm so sorry.

LPO · 11/06/2011 12:12

Hi Wicket How are you doing at the moment? Anymore signs? When is AF due?
I'm feeling a bit better today, still bleeding but think it's lessening and my pains are dying down.
Don't really know where to go from here and if we can just try again. How far gone were you when it happened Wicket?

I hope we have some happy news on here soon.

I now feel really guilty about the timing of this, LPO, but I got a BFP today! My symptoms just got worse and worse over the last couple of days, I have felt sooooooo sick unless I'm eating something every couple of hours, I am just compLETEly exhausted, and I've got that weird metallic taste in my mouth. So poas today. Wasn't the first wee of the day, but even so it was much clearer than it ever was the last time. Wrapped it up in a present for DH, who did his squinting trick again and thought it was BFN (why would I wrap that up?!). So did a CB digi and he can't deny it! I feel much joker than I did the last time (I was about 5 weeks or so, LPO), so here's hoping it sticks. AF due tomorrow or Mon, so we could still be in the realms of a chem pregnancy but properly feel pregnant this time.

I think it's going to be a tough few weeks, though. I'm not sure when you get to the stage when you feel more relaxed about it.

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 11/06/2011 16:51

Sicker, I mean, not joker!

BeeMyBaby · 12/06/2011 08:10

LPO I'm so sorry, I was reading the other thread you did and I'd agree with other posters, at least you went to the doctor so if at any point further help is needed its on your record. Do you think you're going to take a few months off from TTC or continue?

wicket congratulations! Happy news is always appreciated :) from the other board I am on, people don't seem to relax until they've had their 12 week scan unfortunately, but perhaps you will relax slightly at least as soon as you are passed 5 weeks?

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 15/06/2011 00:14

How are you doing, LPO? Been thinking about you.

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 16/06/2011 15:36

BTW, BeeMyBaby, just been on my MN Local site, only to find you're an Edinburger too!

LPO · 17/06/2011 13:14

Congratulations Wicket I hope that everything goes well for you.
It's ironic that the threat starter is now the only active one left.
Bleeding has now stopped so just going to see what happens over the coming weeks and see how DH and I feel.

LPO To be fair, there are alot of lurjers on here, and there was only about 5 very active posters, so one in five shouldn't make you feel too lonely. Especially when wicket and I refuse to leave you in peace!

wicket I always thought you were somewhere in England, I would wonder if I had met you, but don't know any doctors (which I think you are) so you are safe. For now.

eurochick · 17/06/2011 14:47

I am another one who started TTC properly in Jan 2011 and I am still here (albeit that I wasn't on MN until a couple of months ago!).

blue22 · 17/06/2011 16:35

I'm still here and lurking LPO and very much not pregnant Sad
AF due on wednesday and POAS this morning and BFN though I obviously know it's too early. Equally I just KNOW I'm not pregnant.
How long you going to wait before trying again?
Congrats Wicket by the way - really hope this one sticks x

BeeMyBaby · 18/06/2011 07:42

obviously on my previous post I meant lurkers and not some strange insulting kind of lurjers.

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 18/06/2011 11:18

Bee, I will be looking suspiciously at every bump I see in the streets of the Burgh in the next few months!

Well, I think I've reached a kind of a milestone - I've now got to the point when I miscarried the last time. Really hoping this one is bedding in and making him/herself comfy.

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 18/06/2011 11:21

And LPO, as you said to me when I was in exactly the same position, we're here for you!

I think it's different for every couple in terms of how they deal with it. Some people seem to want to crack on with TTC right away. We needed to lick our wounds for a month or two and I was only really emotionally ready for a BFP last month, ie 3 months postMC. just be kind to yourselves, allow yourselves as much time as you need to grieve.

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 21/06/2011 10:29

I think it's happening again. My symptoms have gone. It feels just like the last time.

SadSadSad

blue22 · 21/06/2011 10:37

Oh no Wicket I'm so sorry. I can't believe that life would be so cruel. Are you bleeding? If it's just symptoms going, that can be normal I think? I definitely didn't have any 'symptoms' during the first 12 weeks with my DD

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 21/06/2011 11:58

No bleeding and I wouldn't be so worried if I hadn't had symptoms, but I had been feeling so so sick and my boobs had been sore, and in the last 2 days that's just not been the case.

blue22 · 21/06/2011 12:30

Really really hope that it's just your body getting used to being pregnant.
Fingers crossed x

blue22 · 22/06/2011 09:43

How you feeling today wicket?
