Hi there,

TTC #2, starting this month.
Anybody else out there thinking new year, new baby?

Currently OV, first attempts this month.

Thanks LPO! What about your TTC this month?

LPO · 09/04/2011 19:41

We're just playing the waiting game, AF due around the 16th. But to be honest I am so so low with it all and just feeling like there's no point in trying. I know, i know, that is a really silly thing to think, but hey ho.
Just found out that 2 of my regular playgroup mums are expecting and also another friend of mine. As well as the SIL that just had a baby. All a bit :(

Ow LPO.... it's hard sometimes. Especially when everybody else around you gets pregnant. It made me soooo jealous. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. It will happen. Maybe you have to give yourself a break next month and focus on something nice to do for yourself.

But as you see, I wasn't having any hope this month and now....

BeeMyBaby · 10/04/2011 07:30

Congratulations Dutchie - and LPO, the months's (cycle) not over until AF comes, so I am still holding high hopes for you

LPO · 10/04/2011 13:09

Boobs sore, eating like a pig, grumpy, shattered. Yep, you guessed it, AF due next week!

I've got a right rage on today. Feels hormonal. Reckon I'm the same as you, LPO Sad

(but I'm deciding that's progress, that I might be sad if I'm not up the duff this month, no?)

Dutchie77 · 13/04/2011 21:04

Hang in there girls. You never know!!!

LivingDeadGirl · 13/04/2011 21:52

Yay! Congrats Bee and Dutchie!

Been avoiding MN for a while due to trying to de-stress but have a happy update. AF has returned yay! Wouldn't usually celebrate being on the blob but after 3 months of no shows am ecstatic :-)

Had internal scan and everything appears to be normal. Have another blood test to check hormone levels early May but fingers crossed AF being back means it was just my system still being fucked up from the depo and not premature menopause as the nurse suggested (Dr went apeshit about that, kicking off 'cos the nurse wasn't qualified to offer such an opinion).

Dutchie77 · 14/04/2011 17:46

Great news LivingDeadGirl. At least now you know that your body is normal and that you have the ability to get pregnant. That must be such a relief.

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 15/04/2011 07:13

That's great, LivingDeadGirl!

AF has just put in an appearance. I'm fine with it, just baffled at how all over the place my cycles seem to be now. I was always a bit irregular, but it was about 33 days before and Ov on day 22. First cycle post-MC was 30 days and now this was 28 days. Confused I think I might need to start using an OPK again cos otherwise I don't have a clue!

BeeMyBaby · 15/04/2011 14:17

Or just SWI every 2 days without fail if your cheap...

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 15/04/2011 17:04

Too knackered to do that ALL month!

(And I think I can cope with more than one child and work!!?!)

BeeMyBaby · 18/04/2011 14:35

LPO did AF arrive?

BeeMyBaby · 20/04/2011 06:57

I think LPO is trying to hide something from us Hmm

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 20/04/2011 16:14

I'm just hoping it's a nice surprise!

I'm now quite glad it wasn't a BFP this month as I have the vilest strep tonsillitis which has also kicked off my migraines so I've been able to chuck all sorts down my throat to make me feel a wee bit better without worrying and also not worrying about the high fever bringing on another MC. Check me, looking on the bright side! Grin

BeeMyBaby · 23/04/2011 08:05

Wicket, do you think you will start trying again properly next month, or are you just going to stay very relaxed about it now?

LPO if you don't come back soon, I'm going to send my dogs to find you! Unfortunately they are sighthounds, and as I don't know what you look like, they may have to jump on ALOT of women before they find you.

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 23/04/2011 23:14

BeeMyBaby, I'm ready to try properly now. I think DH would like to be very relaxed about it all, but it's easy for him as he's not 38 and a MC down.

Given that my cycle seems to be completely to pot, it's another push for me to do an OPK this month but I've not started doing temps. Should probably start the OPK nowish, based on last month's performance.

I've been thinking again about the issue of whether I'd use non-digital tests again and how early I'd test (as someone asked me a few pages back, after the MC). I think now that actually I will do the non-digital ones and if the line's not getting stronger, I reckon I'd be more philosphical about it now and know that actually that is a sign that Mother Nature has her hand on it. Not sure I'd do much different about test timing, though - perhaps leave it until AFTER AF is due rather than on the due date unless I had specific symptoms (both times I've been pregnant I've actually known it from particular symptoms) and even if I'd left it a good few days or even a week, I'd still have had a BFP - I got a BFP 15 minutes before I started bleeding.

Sorry, using you lot as a sounding board to muse!

BeeMyBaby · 24/04/2011 08:41

at least using non-digital tests will be cheaper... I saw on chemist direct.com you can get two non-digital ones for about a £1, I was pondering getting them but in the end couldn't wait for them to arrive in the post - but if I'd been more organised, I think I would have used them initially, then I could have bought loads :o

LPO · 24/04/2011 20:28

I'm still alive (not been attacked by any dogs yet!). AF arrived as expected sadly :(

Haven't been online this week as have been away visiting family. But back home now and ready for SWI this month.

OP posts:
BeeMyBaby · 24/04/2011 21:12

woohoo, welcome back LPO, I will call my dogs back now!

LPO · 28/04/2011 10:33

SWI this week, now onto the 2WW AGAIN!

OP posts:
LivingDeadGirl · 28/04/2011 11:19

2WW here too. Not holding out much hope this month though. We both caught a stomach bug from the nephew so were feeling too rough to SWI much.

LPO · 28/04/2011 11:51

You never know, it only takes one time for it to work!!
AF due 12th, 1st wedding anniversary is 15th. Will we get a nice present for our anniversary i wonder...?

OP posts:
TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 28/04/2011 22:49

Fingers crossed for all you TWWers...

I need my husband to get over his man-flu to join in some SWI-ing otherwise my TWW this month will turn into a 6WW!

LPO · 01/05/2011 07:51

Sorry to hear your DH is ill wicket. How annoying of him ;) Hope you have managed some SWI.
