Hi there,

TTC #2, starting this month.
Anybody else out there thinking new year, new baby?

Currently OV, first attempts this month.

SWI this week and feel a bit sorry for DP having to 'perform' every day. Doing ovulation tests every day but it's still not clear to me how long my cycle actually is. Last one took 32 days.

Hope I will have a smiley face this weekend with the tests. And the it's waiting, waiting, waiting

Good luck to all you ladies this month! St Davids

LPO · 04/03/2011 19:30

SWI here this week too. Not using an ovulation kit, but relying partly on ov calendars and what my body is doing.

Let's hope there is smiley faces at the end of this month!

I give up this month. Think I had my ovulation early last week, when I was not testing yet..... good thing is that we were already SWI. In the meanwhile I (again) have some symptoms that may be AF: tirednes, spots, hungry, irritable)

The waiting has started.

BeeMyBaby · 07/03/2011 22:08

Dutchie, would you have AF symptoms so early?Maybe just stressing yourself out too much. You need to relax... somehow.

LPO · 08/03/2011 07:51

I spent all last month imagining AF symptoms when I would never normally have them! And then convinced myself it was pregnancy symptoms, which it wasn't!! Oh dear, are we all beginning to lose the plot a bit?

Bee how are you doing?
Dutchie I'm so confused, have been using OV calendars but for some reason this month they all say different dates so I am really confused, and think the we, too, have missed it this month!

I'm doing ok, as normal no idea when I ovulate so we are just keeping trying, and I'm taking the folic acid now so if it happens it happens. On the down side I finally faced up to being overweight which I think may mean that its very unlikely I will actually conceive until my BMI gets down a bit, but I do love sugar. I had one of those new malteaser bunnies today... I don't know how everyone else manages with weight here... I am a bit worried about pregnancy again because last time I ballooned and I'm not sure how to really keep it all on track.

LPO · 10/03/2011 11:13

Bee Have you spoken to your GP about your weight and conceiving?
I am trying to keep my weight stable, because i too gained an awful lot through pregnancy. Sadly I lost loads when I got married in May and did a very strict diet, but typically I have now put it all on again, and more!

BeeMyBaby · 11/03/2011 14:08

Its only a little out of the 'normal' range so I don't think the doctors would help much, I think its just up to me. Though if I somehow am successful in conceiving I think I will definitely ask the midwife to check my weight when I visit, do you think they'd agree to that?

I think I am having AF cramps, very gutted. I am slightly hoping it is the old chicken I just ate instead.

Can someone please announce a BFP as I need to know someone is having success - beware I may ask for tips.

LPO · 11/03/2011 19:09

I live in Belgium and you HAVE to have you weight checked everytimeyou go for an appointment, I hate it!!

OP posts:
LPO · 11/03/2011 19:11

No BFP here, totally missed SWI this month as well with DH work hours, so not expecting it either.

Dutchie77 · 11/03/2011 20:26

LPO where abouts do you live in Belgium?

And yes...let's keep calm about 'symptoms'. I am driving myself insane at the moment. Two days ago I started to get seriously nauseous and I had to wee a lot, headaches, and firmer boobs. The spots are a bit embarrassing, all over my face. Beemybaby: yes, it would be way to early to feel all this stuff. Besides that, it could all be because of coming AF aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh

So I asked DP to help me keep me relaxed. Patience is soooo hard

Got my fingers crossed for you all girls!

LPO · 12/03/2011 06:35

Dutchie South of Brussels (begins to worry she may be known in RL!)

BeeMyBaby · 14/03/2011 14:19

LPO - Any kind of appointment, or just midwivery?

So no news from anyone then, I'm unsure if we have been deserted by a fair few, possibly due to lack of news.

LPO · 14/03/2011 15:04

In Belgium they don't have midwife appointments, it's all done with a Gynaecologist, and they do all the weighing etc.

AF started yesterday. Don't feel too bad about it tho. Smile

LPO don't worry. I was just curious cause I used to live close to the Belgium border Smile

First post-miscarriage AF has arrived. Mixed feelings.

LPO · 20/03/2011 18:59

AF just started here. Another failed month :(

OP posts:
BeeMyBaby · 21/03/2011 14:13

Hmm, there was not even raised hopes this month :(. So does that mean no December babies here? I really wanted a December baby, though I suppose an any month baby would be lovely. To continue on my obsession with chinese years, any baby born after mid Feb will be a dragon, maybe we are all destined to have baby dragons. Here's hoping.

LPO · 21/03/2011 14:39

I have calculated it and if I concieve next cycle then it would be due Christmas eve!

OP posts:
BeeMyBaby · 21/03/2011 19:28

Oooooo Christmas present baby!

Dutchie77 · 21/03/2011 19:41

Same here, if we conceive this cycle (ovulations next week), it would be due 21st of december hahaha

Okay girls, keep smiling.....next round soon to come Smile

LPO · 29/03/2011 17:46
