Rie it's chucking it down here too. I have made chilli, nachos and soup plus done loads of washing. Keeping busy?! Now I'm watching series 2 of Misfits. La la la la.

Ariesgirl · 16/01/2011 15:04

LA LA LA LA LA LA LAAAAAAAA.

If truth be told, I am almost crazy. This is not like me at all. It will all end in tears. Mine.

Ivegotmrbitey · 16/01/2011 15:06

mmmmmmmmm risotto sounds lovely milanomasterchef

I have spent three hours installing skype. A lot of those hours were spent shouting "why don't you fucking work for the love of fuck" at the computer. FDH is kindly soul and restarted computer for me instantly mending it. Can now call family over seas via web cam, yey!

Would also point out while not looking at anyone AT ALL that the only sign I had of being diffed was a positive test. No symptoms except the droid didn't arrive despite rather a lot of poking around in office toilets. And what was a barely discernable line on the cheapo tinternet test was a big flashing cross on clear blue. Just saying is all

ariesketterley it is pissing down here also. Usually I can see the sea from my window, today just grey ominous ick.

Ivegotmrbitey · 16/01/2011 15:10

cross post again! aries you need more distracting me thinks! Here's a thought; what can I buy the foot dragging one to celebrate his brthday? Any ideas anyone?

Ariesgirl · 16/01/2011 15:47

Ummmmm....does he like outdoorsy things? How about an adventure activity in Pembrokeshire? Something like coasteering or a flying lesson or a trip on a big fast boat? All things MrA and I have done in Pembs and loved!

owlbooty · 16/01/2011 16:05

I've given up trying to guess what Mr Shoes wants for birthdays and just ask him which bit of windsurfing gubbins he requires next. Tis easier but not v.romantic.

Bitey I think you should get him a dirty weekend in a B&B somewhere remote - Pembrokeshire ideal, or somewhere fun like Brighton maybe? That would be top.

It is shite here but no rain.

Rie consider this plus point - you are potentially saving yourself from a possible is it even really there tiny hint of a tint type line that will drive you even more insane (yep, that is possible Grin ) - alternatively you are saving yourself from wasting a fiver. Either way it's a win-win situation.

Ariesgirl · 16/01/2011 16:19

That's my thought too Pellet. It'd probably just yell "Not pregnant! Fuck off!" but if there was a teeny tiny shadow...well. Too much of headfuck.

Apologies for over use of the word fuck.

InTheSunshine · 16/01/2011 16:31

IMO you can't overuse the word fuck in these situations.

Bitey how about tickets to some sort of sporting event or gig? That way you can select if you want to go with him or not Smile

Ivegotmrbitey · 16/01/2011 16:54

He has solved my problem by requesting yet another drum! Our house is pretty full of them already but that is what he wants and it is a bit different to all the other ones...

Pembrokeshire is lovely, we went here off season last year and was muchos romantic! Also could check surf from bed room and have disconcerting moments with seals Smile

owlie sea view is a bit scary during spring tides when sea comes to bottom of street but is lovely otherwise. Makes my street sound all seasidey and posh but is in fact cul-de-sac of semis that could be anywhere in the country, just happens to be on the edge. And in fact a marshy edge not a sandy edge. This is why I am not an estate agent!

Ariesgirl · 16/01/2011 16:58

I adore Pembrokeshire. It makes me go misty eyed with longing. Just looking at booking a night or two here

Ariesgirl · 16/01/2011 16:59

PS does he like his sport? Do you? Do you support the Ospreys? Will you be going rabid with me during the Six Nations?

rocketleaf · 16/01/2011 17:02

Was dull and grey and a bit moist here earlier, now looks like it's clearing up and I have missed a cracking sunset as was napping.

Ariesgirl · 16/01/2011 17:04

How lovely! Thank you!

Ariesgirl · 16/01/2011 17:04

PS how soon do veins appear?

rocketleaf · 16/01/2011 17:08

Not sure about 4-6 weeks ago for me, i believe everyone is different.

Thats place looks lovely rie, I especially like the look of the melty chocolate pudding on the 'restaurant and bars' page.

Ariesgirl · 16/01/2011 17:20

I would just like to make it clear that the Newport where the lovely place is located is of course different to

rocketleaf · 16/01/2011 18:16

looking for a long weekend retreat for us to spend some 'couple' time before sprout appears, that is now on the list.

InTheSunshine · 16/01/2011 18:52

Ooooh that hotel looks devine! We've been debating whether to go on hols or have more decorating done. Exciting chat in the Sunshine house this afternoon.

Ariesgirl · 16/01/2011 18:57

Hello Sunny. How are you ?

starnosemole · 16/01/2011 19:22

Weather contribution from the North West: A bit rainy, froggy umberella not however required on walk from car to shop, so not that rainy.

12pt (BTW where's Cass?) Um, nothing. You're being very stoic. Jolly good show. Cunting fucking wait.
P.S. Although I have a very welsh maiden name, I didn't realise there be two Newports, so thanks for the heads up.

Truffkin · 16/01/2011 19:34

What's that you say Rie midnight waking for snackage?

owlbooty · 16/01/2011 19:36

Nope, no real vein action going on here.

Ariesgirl · 16/01/2011 19:39

Cass is working very hard for her exams before she lays her baybee. She's all fine and dandy.

Yes Truffers - I had toast at 3.30am. Prolly not enough eaten for tea.

InTheSunshine · 16/01/2011 19:48

If anyone can find my tits please let me know Grin

I'm fine Rie, just knicker checking having a relaxing evening. You?

InTheSunshine · 16/01/2011 19:54

Owl we had boiler serviced before Xmas. So glad we did! I want to go somewhere sunny but MS wants to 'do' something. We always have this debate.
