HOW'S THE HANGOVER, TRUFFS ? Grin Good work on the hair singeing, hope you missed the eyebrows.

Aries and SunnyD I am in awe of your self-restraint. I have made you these here medals out of chocolate Splendid.

Kat I agree; by 8 weeks many people are chucking their guts up or farting for England - it's not like you could miss that, really. They were probably too busy drinking cinzano and eating sherry trifle to notice, though, back in the day.

Bitey our cat weighs about 7 and a half kilos. He's more like a fecking tiger. I don't think he would fit in anything designed for a small baybee. Plus it would anger him.

Ivegotmrbitey · 16/01/2011 09:50

No, dropping ash in the butter is vile, all else acceptable! Spose I can wait rill thursday

owlbooty · 16/01/2011 09:50

And - oooh, Sunny , I do so hope this is one of the legendary FCFU moments. We have had a couple of those in here, I think it might have been laurie and rocket?

Ivegotmrbitey · 16/01/2011 09:54

Yes, I have heard of such things too owlie the ancient scriptures of the BESH need checking!

rocketleaf · 16/01/2011 09:55

Strange, this morning we toyed with the idea of testing out the Kari-me i have bought for my friend on Il Gato Negro, but decide not only did we not want lacerated arms and faces but it would be bad form to give someone a sling covered in black cat hair to carry their new born child in.

Still waiting for some sort of time scale for POAS action from hairisyourariels and allshineycap'n Hmm

rocketleaf · 16/01/2011 09:57

Ah sorry, just read from shineyonharveymoon will be testing on Wednesday latest then? What day are you 'due'?

Ivegotmrbitey · 16/01/2011 09:59

Your cat looks like mine owlie from that pic where he is wearing antlers, sounds like they have similar tempraments too!

starnosemole · 16/01/2011 10:00

Most active, most active, most active

starnosemole · 16/01/2011 10:05

You know in the bible didn't someone not know until the baby moved inside her? That would be like 20 weeks- can you imagine just getting to go straight to 20 weeks? I am going to attempt to do that if when I get diffed, I just won't look: until I can't bend down, it ain't happening. Not sure how that would work with the booze though. And I'd have to keep ttcing, which would be irritating. Bah, back to the drawing board.

Truffkin · 16/01/2011 10:09

Hello, check in for some test fest action but I see there aint nothin' goin' on but the rent.

Am liking the idea of cats in baybee carriers. I think it's because they are quite haughty creatured and the idea of them staying stiff upper lipped and refusing the acknowledge the silliness appeals.

Am feeling almost normal fanking yoo but TGB has gone bowling off to meet his brother for a pre-match pint and was definitely still drunk. He was chuntering away, moaning about 12 0' clock kick-off's being devil spawn and his brother similar for phoning to check he was awake. Of course, him feeling like his brain was swapped overnight for a miniature combine harvester is nothing to do with him playing drinking games involving large glasses of wine being downed (he was not with me) no siree.

rocketleaf · 16/01/2011 10:32

My friend who the carrier is for didn't know she was diffed until 15 weeks Hmm My mum is of the same mind as you kat when we were having trouble getting diffed, I remember her saying she thought it was very cruel for people our age that there is all this technology to tell so early on. ignorant is bliss as they say. (mind you, not so sure about all the quicky weddings, 'early' babies and subsequent divorces in the 80s due to lack of proper contraception)

truffs hate wine hangovers (or used to) those ones where you wake up feeling ok then progressively decline over the day until you are a shadow of your former self by tea time. Only one thing for it really and if he is going to the match I am guessing alcohol levels will be toped up nicely by alf time.

InTheSunshine · 16/01/2011 10:50

FCFU?? what is such a thing? I think I know I'm not diffed but would like a couple of days more of pretending I could be. FFS I just wrote that. Someone slap me hard and tell me to get a fucking grip!!

My mum also told me she never had any barfing issues and that all 3 of her labours were over in less than 4 hours. So if/ when I get diffed hopefully it will like hers!

Anyway today I'm mostly going to be making a massive chilli then going to meet some woman about organising a marathon. What fun!

InTheSunshine · 16/01/2011 10:51

Sorry for me me me me me < slaps herself with large wet fish>

rocketleaf · 16/01/2011 11:06

FCFU = Fertility Clinic Fuck U sunny

booty is right both loz and I had FC appointments on the same day and won just in the nick of time. I miss mounty who was our FC triplet and is now MIA :( (unless she has name changed and/or is lurking)

so indulge my prying curiosity and tell me when you are actually due?

InTheSunshine · 16/01/2011 11:31

Tuesday or Wednesday. Love FCFU!

rocketleaf · 16/01/2011 11:34

ok fingers crossed for FCFU BFP wed/thursday then? :o

owlbooty · 16/01/2011 11:42

HELL yes. Am sacrificing the goats as we speak. We're definitely due some more bfps on this fred, before we get to the end of it.

Ariesgirl · 16/01/2011 12:21

Oh there have been loads of FCFU BESHes. Drom was one as well. Cho was one (I think).

Loved the drunken escapade update last night, Truffles. Made me larf when I got up at 3.30am for toast and peanut butter, as you do. I was starving. I'd gone to bed early dead tired, and then from 2.30 was awake for four hours. BOR-RING. Wine hangovers are ghastly, I agree. I am hopeless at drinking lately - since an incident before Christmas which involved actually barfing in the street, I have toned down the booze. I actually felt like I'd been poisoned. It may have been the actual quantity rather than the choice of beverage, I concede.

Day 30. Eeep.

You're all very sweet. However I'm refusing to get too excited as I've been here before. Several times :)

What's the weather like everyone? It's been raining stair rods here all day non stop.

milanomum · 16/01/2011 13:13

Oh holy fuck!

I know what you mean about the late testing - I tested when I was a week late and I knew I was pregnant. It meant for an immediate, comforting, bright pink line.
May I just point out that night-time wakening is something which has been mildly irritating since being updiffed

Browner glad to hear you are feeling a little bit better. Pliz to message me where you are in Riven and I shall send helpful tips. It's one of those games which takes over your life until you get to the end and then you never even think about it again.

Bitey think it was wise not to try out the sling avec chat. you may have shredded your buzzwams in the process which is never a good thing.

I have just made and devoured a really tasty asparagus risotto but am instantly hungry again. Confused

milanomum · 16/01/2011 13:13

Cross-posted A: cloudy and cold. shite.

Ariesgirl · 16/01/2011 13:31

Um yes, I seem to have miscounted. Day 29 not 30

Truffkin · 16/01/2011 14:09

What's that you say Rie midnight wakinh for snackage?
