Just got back from nuchal scan and went brilliantly. Really pleased and feeling much relieved and baby all in good shape and very cute. Very happy.

Can I just add for those who are awaiting the droid - both times, the month I got diffed I was absolutely certain beyond doubt it was the droid advancing that was giving me the typical headache, Rage, zits and achey innards.

So basically what I am saying is, you never really know til the fecker actually rocks up properly. :)

at pogering! So glad all went well with scan ladyGG. My friend, who a radiographer, (echos of Johnny Briggs there) came round last night with pictures of my baybee! I had the scan in the EPU where they don't give you pictures but because she is the best radiographer in the world she thought that was mean and brought me three copies!

bitey i agree with the stress thing being bollox. The month we won (and i think the very day) we had our 2nd FC appointment and were told we were going straight to IVF, it was a very stressful week/month and I was extremely mizz, although we still managed to do the sechs. The following week when i would have been implanting, I had to do a lot of traveling, with long days and lots of meetings. So :p to the "relax" crew, they can fuck off and so can frankie.

What is wrong with my fertility monitor. Day 13 and still showing low!! Aarrgh. At least it gives me a rest, I am too tired and stressed anyway. But hope I get some hormone action soon. Very annoying. Cycles recently have been any random number of days long. Doctor fobbed me off with "stress related" yesterday. Which may be true, but worrying about my cycle and possibility/impossibility of pregnancy is adding to my stress. Work is really poo, I need to leave teaching!! Any ex teachers on here with some ideas for what on earth else I could do!

Beshs I'm today- found out my little girl has to have an operation, don't want to go into it on here, nothing dangerous or owt, but making me very We knew it would probably come to this, but thought we had another year or so-told today it will be in 3 weeks, had to sign consent form with risks of GA on- yuk yuk yuk.
Will be being in the corner and not really even that fussed about male company. Oh go on then, I'll take Mitchell to blow my nose on.
It's a wonderful but agonising thing this parenthood.

I teach in middle school so KS2 and 3. Mostly KS3. Used to teach secondary too. 8 years now and have had enough. Feel sick with stress.
starnosemole sorry to hear about your little girls operation. Obviously risks sound very scary but they are very rare risks with GA I believe. They are just obliged to inform you about very rare risks. Not nice at all that it has come sooner than you hoped but hopefully it will go well and she will be all better soon. How old is she?

Poor old Little Moley. Try not to worry, a stupid stupid thing to say, I know. If it's a fairly routine op, they still have to tell you all the risks and stuff.

KatFace my love, work stress is an evil thing and must be banished. All the teachers I know complain about the workload, am surprised it has never been addressed, especially with a shortage in certain subjects. Have you considered nekkid dancing as a career option? I'm sure all the practice on here would see you well and without being vulgar, I've heard the money is very good.

So work was a bit of a head fuck today, generally people being jobsworths but also finding out I have to handover my favourite group of stakeholders to a colleague On the bright side, I had an interview for a new job, which seemed to go well but I have to wait nearly 3 weeks to find out if I made it through to the next stage I will be outside all bloody day tomorrow planting fucking trees. This is for a new volunteering scheme at work, as you may have gathered from my excited tone, I am really leading by example in my enthusiasm for the activity. I'll need a hot bath and bottle glass of wine when I get home.
