They can convert to IVF but then you would want as many eggs as possible - more than 4 if they can get it Hooters. If I have to use up my NHS IVF go I would want the maximum number of eggs possible and that would mean being on stronger drugs from the start really. Yes, the possibility of quads is real, so they only let you have a maximum of three eggs for IUI. I'm just greedy for Dildocam action, what can I say.

AlpinePony · 10/01/2011 18:04

haha drrrrrrrty grrrl barbiesbeaver! Grin

milano So very glad to hear everything is A-OK! Pls not to fret?

Is anyone WOOFLING or doing the sechs? Or is it all about cakes & boys to fuck?

Can I also bring D'Angelo to the Stringer Bell partee-sandwich? I dunno, there's just something about him.

And Derek Morgan from Criminal Minds.

And Eric from CSI:Miami.

OP posts:
Ariesgirl · 10/01/2011 18:22

I am. WOOFLing that is.

PrincessBoo · 10/01/2011 18:38

Hoists Milan onto shoulders to parade around the room. Wahey! Have you got a doppler? I had one, found it very reassuring. Although some midwives don't like them in case you don't find a heartbeat one day when everything is ok really and it send you into a panic.

WOOFling eh Rie? How many days still potential POAS/droid dispair action?

I am still with droid Alps so it's all about cake and girlie bonding in the old red tent (has anyone read that book by the way? 'The Red Tent', not 'The old red tent'.)

I am still sans Facebook. It still feels good. I'm wondering if other people feel the same way - I've had lots of chats with people lately who have also fallen out of love with it. When I go back on there's gonna be some changes afoot...

So not all sisters adore each other then? I have a very compliacted family with stepsisters stepbrothers half sisters and half brothers and in the midst of it all I am an only child. At the risk of sounding all 'poor me' it can be a bit lonely stuck amongst all the stes of two around me.

PrincessBoo · 10/01/2011 18:38

PrincessBoo · 10/01/2011 18:39

oh dear lord

*despair

owlbooty · 10/01/2011 18:45

I like the one from CSI:NY who is slightly geeky and sometimes wears glasses. I think he might be slightly of Italian origin. I have watched far too much CSI:Miami but cannot think who Eric is. Oooh noooo, you can keep him.

Boo my and my two brothers kicked the living crap out of each other until the point where we all left home. I used to wish I had sisters. Now I'm glad I don't!!

Go swimmers! Go swimmers!

BB on the other fred I lurk upon we are all willing someone else's eggies as they are not quite big enough for IVF yet - I shall therefore see if some form of egg size swap magic can be invoked so you both get what you need.

Ariesgirl · 10/01/2011 18:48

Oi Boo Get thyself back on FB (if you want to that is). I have to say I love it, but that's because I don't have any family on there apart from cousins, who are more like friends than relations. Oh and my mother is there but she may as well not be. My sister and I adore each other but I know her faults very well and I'm glad she's not on FB - she sometimes seems arrogant in that she says she's made the effort to stay in contact with all the friends that matter to her so doesn't need FB. Whereas I am on it all the time, as you know! Delete your awful rellies or invent a new name or something. Aren't families the bitter end?

If you do insist on standing on bridges in heavy rain, make sure you wear a sturdy mackintosh and wellingtons.

Truffkin · 10/01/2011 18:55

Hi BESH and firstly, am pleased to see MilanoBabe is staying put and giving his mama some quality time without pukage.

I have enjoyed LOLing whilst catching up on the weekends' escapades, so fanks mychly for titter material. I of course, would never kick my husband during the night for loud snoring and then pretend he had actually lashed out at me in his sleep and forgive him because I am such a nice wife like that [innocent face]

ChuckAnotherShrimpOnTheBarbie am feeling for you on the egg debacle. Too many for one process, too few for the other. The bloody bastards are messing with your mind. Am hopeful that further dildocam action tomorrow brings more positive news (and of course, who wouldn't want another dildocam if it was being offered?)

Rie am WOOFling with you, although at only 5DPO it's a bit early for me to make up spot any symptoms yet. Am sure it is only a matter of days.

Boo nice work on FB flounce, hope noone thinks you have just ditched them as a friend (apart from evil sisters, they can swivel)

I had a lovely but tiring weekend. Surprise party was roaring success I am very pleased to report. Very cute niece and nephew only wanted Aunty Truff all night, which was lufferly (although made my pangs a little more pronounced after 5 a glasses of wine)and then we were treated to a mahoosive Chinese meal by the out laws before heading home yesterday.

AlpinePony · 10/01/2011 18:59

owl too right I'm keeping him - I get all weak at the knees with them cuban-looking boys.

boo They fuck you up, your mum & dad. Apparently dopplers can also be bad in that you think you're hearing the hb but actuall you're just listening to your cord. It's a blinkin' minefield innit.

Aries Are you proper woofling with real live symptoms et al?

OP posts:
Ariesgirl · 10/01/2011 19:07

I don't WOOFL! Am strong minded, rational woman, am strong minded, rational woman, am strong minded, rational woman...

Um, am 7/8 DPO. Have had wombular-region aches, but could need a big poo. Slightly sore boobs. That's all for now.

PrincessBoo · 10/01/2011 19:23

I am going back on FB Rie but I am enjoying the break from such gems as:

*** is expressing. 3 mls so far! (I kid you not - some people have no concept of TMI)

PrincessBoo · 10/01/2011 19:29

Truffs I did do a status update saying I was deactivating for a while, and to email text and phone me. I left it up for half a day before deactivating.

Some girl who I used to go school with put 'I'm sure I'm not the only person who wants to know why'. Nosey sod! It's people like her, folk I knew vaguely at school and didn't really know all that well back then, that I'm going to ditch when I get back. Sounds mercenary I guess, but I just want to be friends with my friends. I just can't be friends with 400 people, it's ridiculous!

Has anyone ever deactivated before? It's hilarious - you get all these pictures of friends and facebook tells you that they are all going to miss you. I refuse to be emotionally manipulated by a website!

InTheSunshine · 10/01/2011 19:44

Evening BESHers.

Phew Milano. Big snog. Glad you are ok.

kat2504 · 10/01/2011 20:19

Is there a BESH group on bookface?

Am I mean in desperately wanting the Beckhams to have another boy?
barbie hope your eggs do as they are told.

boo 400 friends is impossible. When I get to 95 I start deleting people I haven't heard from in yonks (unless they are family). I refuse to have 100 friends.
milano adding to the congrats!!! Very pleased :)

I need to do the sechs this week. Can only see The Man tomorrow night as we are properly busy. Am crossing fingers that the Blue Dictator does not specify that this is not acceptable. Please send me a slightly longer cycle. I will make up for it at the weekend I promise!!!

Ariesgirl · 10/01/2011 20:57

I have culled people before Boo. Mainly it was people who I hadn't heard from in ages on FB and who never updated themselves.I'm not a person who randomly befriends anyone (are you feeling honoured yet?!) so I had about 130 friends to about 110. To be honest, they hardly ever notice, except one bloke who kept sending me friends requests again and messaging me. I had decided he was obnoxious so just ignored him and he got the message. Or if some random from school sends me a request I don't accept because I always think if I wasn't friends with you in school why would I be now, when we haven't seen each other for 18 years?

Ariesgirl · 10/01/2011 21:09

I'm not sure if I can watch this episode of OBEM. Those two idiotic children are having a baby and the thoroughly autistic father is talking about how much he knows. Well not about birth control you dumbfuck! They're having a baby and I'm not. Where's the justice?

PrincessBoo · 10/01/2011 21:19

Bet she has a girl Kat - bet she has gender selected.

Feling well honoured Rie

I think there is a BESH group Kat but I'm not in it.

I am watching OBEM. I'd love to be a midwife you know. Or a doula. Trufax.

PrincessBoo · 10/01/2011 21:20

Hoping someone comes along and can answer your question Sunnyshine

rocketleaf · 10/01/2011 21:27

sunnyD yes the fella should go too. its not essential (TB didnt go to first one due to work commitments) but at the end of the day you are BOTH trying to have this baby. Also he will be sent for tests if he hasn't already so it will give him the opportunity to ask any questions.

Basically they will ask you both lots of questions about your health and medical history, and your sex life then arrange for any tests that you need (again if you haven't already had these from your GP) Ours sent me for all my Day 3 and Day 21 bloods again anyway even tho I had already done them via GP. Then u=they will arrange a 2nd appointment around 8-12 weeks later to get results and discuss treatment options.

best thing to do is write a list of anything you want to ask them. When is it? Loads of luck!

kat2504 · 10/01/2011 21:32

I can't watch it it is too painful.
It just highlights that this is not down to "when the time is right it will happen for you" or "god's will" or anything else to do with the imaginary man in the sky. It is pure dumb luck/unluck. Nothing more nothing less. you don't win a baybee cos you deserve one. Although thankfully so many people that do deserve a win get a win.

Is gender selection legal in USA?
Read about the people who aborted IVF twins because they were boys. No other reason. Made me so angry. I'm all for choice, including terminating for severe abnormalities. But gender is not an abnormality and so so so many people undergoing ivf are desperate for a healthy child. And they terminate two because they aren't girls?? Why on earth were they allowed ivf??

Anyway no point in getting up in arms. Should be researching new jobs. Teaching is doing my head in far too much so thinking about new opportunities. What on earth can I do? Feel good for not much but surely 8 years at the chalkface must be good for something? I have to get out of it before it makes me crack up. I want to move house in the summer and it seems as good a time as any to make the job leap too.

Ariesgirl · 10/01/2011 21:37

They were Australian weren't they?

There is a woman on there who is actually screaming the house down. The 18 year old is putting her to shame. She is swearing at the consultant anaesthetist Shock

InTheSunshine · 10/01/2011 21:39

Thanks Rocket. It's next Thurs. I am a bit scared tbh.

OBEM - jeeeezus is it really that painful?? Someone needs to tie her down. Grin at Rie I hear you.

rocketleaf · 10/01/2011 22:03

No probs sunny it's not as scary as you will be anticipating. the worst part is having to discuss your sex life (ie frequency) with a total stranger. :o But just bear in mind that they are professionals and they ask those questions 20 times a day! Also it really depends on what the individual consultant is like but they tend to be a bit brusque and matter of fact (ie forget that this is probably the single most important thing in your life at the mo!) so just keep a fairly thick skin and make sure you ask anything you want to know about the process, next steps etc. as that will be your one opportunity until the next appointment (which can seem like decades!!) Honest is was probably the longest 8 weeks of my life apart from the ones between finding out I was diffed and the 12 week scan :o

InTheSunshine · 10/01/2011 22:34

MS is going to come with me. Thanks rocket BESH advice is invaluable to me as I don't have any close gf's who are hunting a baybee win. A conversation with them would go along the lines of "relax & it will happen" route. And as I'm banned from talking about it at work .....
