Sunshine you sound JUST like me! Lanky, gangly and clumsy with giant extremities and no boobs. I am delighted to learn There Is Another Buy one of those Magic Bras from M&S. I got one three days ago and I can scarcely take it off even for bed. I luffs it. This fantastic item

kat2504 · 06/01/2011 20:30

I am the opposite, no shortage of boobs or any other form of body fat. definitely not lanky, more like chubby.

I have just had an internettage scare. Is it true that because my lovely man has a son with another woman, we would never be eligible for NHS assistance with fertility should we need it? Gaaah!!! Obviously no reason to suspect problems yet, got another 6 months to go until the one year post miscarriage point. But still. Seems very unfair and has started me worrying. Obviously no point worrying yet.

I need to stop reading internet forums. Not good for the sanity. Have wine and pringles, virtual share for the rest of you BESHes. Green flavour, very nice!!

cheezyquaver · 06/01/2011 20:36

Sounds like we could all do with a larf.

Aries
no matter what you got, you always want the other, right? I am huge, my rack is huge, I am now beyond hope of ever buying a pretty bra ever again. Doreen all the way for me. Some gangliness would be welcome. I am 5ft11 but a size 20/22.

Who's in the hot tub tonight then ladies? Do you think he can cope with mummamanatee jumping all over him/or her in a naked squlechy way :)

kat2504 · 06/01/2011 20:39

oooh hot tub! Count me in I love hot tubs!!
cheezy I agree with the difficulties of underwear. Am still within bounds of reason (F cup) but wish I could get nice cheap pretty primark stuff not spend 30 quid a pop on bras. If I was skinnier I could possibly get back to a DD. But that would be me two sizes smaller and is frankly quite unlikely.

InTheSunshine · 06/01/2011 20:45

Ooooh lovin that bra Rie haff just bought one on line - thanks for linkage.

I have a suggestion for hot tub - did anyone see Lynda Le Plante thing on ITV? I want the Drug Squad cop in the hot tub pliz.

kat2504 · 06/01/2011 20:55

I did not see it but assume the cop was not visually displeasing? Lets get some eye candy in the jacuzzi!

starnosemole · 06/01/2011 21:06

Evening all, especially barbiessquirrel (I was originally thinking of going down another doll + muff euphamism, but tinytears' + anything just sounded really really wrong) simply divine to see you again, and we're all lined up at the wall ready to take anything you desire to throw at us in the name of stress relief. Will be thinking of you having dildo cam tomorrow, and not completely in the naughty way.

Did everyone do the impromtue roll call? I need to know for my spreadsheet so no one gets left out.

Regarding Naomi- am massively in favour of not being beaten into insanity by society, but my self reduction programme is entirely ttc related- I lost three stone before I got diffed, and don't think the two things are completely unrelated. I think if you are a bit bigger you almost have the freedom of not feeling the pressure to conform to the ridiculously tiny- I aspire to a 14, that would make me happy, healthy and still curvy where it counts- I would imagine people who are size 10 but still not happy with their body are the ones who are more affected by famous air brushed skinny minnies- to me its completely not relevant to me as a human being. Haven't expressed myself well, but I know what I mean.Wink A close friend did once say in reply to my worries that molette will potentially struggle with her weight in the future that 'the best thing you can do is set a good example', and right now I don't feel that I do have a healthy relationship with food or exercise, so I really need to buck my ideas up before she's old enough to remember.

Anyway, hot tub, amazonian goddess fromagey and hmmm, I think tonight we'll be sampling the delights of <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=www.flintoffsashes.com/wp-content/uploads/cosmocentrefold.jpg&imgrefurl=www.flintoffsashes.com/tag/stuart-broad/&usg=__hEbId7wu94VCyGJbCf5-AwWdbPU=&h=635&w=553&sz=73&hl=en&start=8&zoom=1&tbnid=VdLKBO6WD5l_2M:&tbnh=166&tbnw=167&prev=/images%3Fq%3Denglish%2Bcricket%2Bteam%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26rlz%3D1T4SKPB_enGB353GB353%26biw%3D1003%26bih%3D489%26tbs%3Disch:1&um=1&itbs=1&iact=rc&dur=406&ei=cy4mTa60B9OH4QbH34W-CQ&oei=aS4mTfqeFM6xhQej5eG3Dg&esq=2&page=2&ndsp=8&ved=1t:429,r:2,s:8&tx=104&ty=122" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">these boys, to celebrate the cricket and stuff

rocketleaf · 06/01/2011 21:09

kat Debenhams is the only place I have found that does half decent bras for a reasonable price in bigger than DD cup. And by half decent I mean ones that don't look like they were designed before the war and build to house 2 actual torpedos. And they don't tend to do that annoying thing where the D cups look nice but then they double the strap width on the DD cup or above making them look like a trebechet rather than a bra. Hmm

rocketleaf · 06/01/2011 21:11

oh and i tittered at calling mrQuaver "mancheeze". I wonder how he would feel about that? :o

kat2504 · 06/01/2011 21:15

Debenhams is not bad, they have some quite nice stuff. I often order from Bravissimo but they are pricey. La Senza has stuff but the fit is awful in larger cup sizes. Same bra, just bigger so not well designed. Doubling the strap is rubbish, but so is a tiny strap that doesn't do the job!
If I was minted I'd go Rigby and Peller. Corsetiers to the Queen no less! they have a well posh shop in the new shopping bit in Cambridge but I have seen the prices - Ouch!

I used to love the lingerie matching set business but pretty much can't be arsed anymore. Buy it all in black now so it all matches!
John Lewis has some bigger size stuff too. Brand names like bravissimo so not cheap though. I find the best brand for me is Panache, also the Fantaisie isn't bad either.
I just hate paying the best part of 30 quid for a plain black tshirt style bra!

PrincessBoo · 06/01/2011 21:16

Moley They were having that very discussion today on woman's hour. Very sensible lady talking about wanting to pass on sensible food habits to her children without making food about comfort or rewards.

Well, I didn't fall over at body balance. But I got major giggles, and horrendous indigestion (too many fecking down dogs). I had to stop, or the lady with horrendously long townails who I always end up next to may have ended up with chicken pie all over her yoga mat.I must eat at least 2 hours before I go next week.

PrincessBoo · 06/01/2011 21:16

Townails? Ha! *toenails.

starnosemole · 06/01/2011 21:18

(can we make it a really big hot tub)

kat2504 · 06/01/2011 21:19

what is this roll call? Have I missed something?

I remember reading Naomi Wolf's "beauty myth" many years ago as an impressionable 21 year old. Was proper impressed at the time. However I later thought that some of her own ishoos might have had more than a little to do with it. She does make good points in her writing never the less.
I'm in the "would like to get back in size 14" club. So not to do with society's obsession with skinny minnies. Just for my own good. I'll never be skinny!

PrincessBoo · 06/01/2011 21:25

I think Harrison Ford was in there already ackchewally. But I am feeling doing some skiing with horse. Wind in me face adrenaline rushing fun. Am pre droidal, and it's all about female company today.

kat2504 · 06/01/2011 21:28

I may be a bit weird but can I invite Benedict wotsisname (aka new sherlock holmes) into the tub? Strangely attractive in a weird kind of way.

starnosemole · 06/01/2011 21:32

Just introducing ourselves to cheeze but an excuse for little reminder for everyone else too that's all, no pressure, or need to reveal favourite positions again or anything.

My bezzie friend in whole world is producer on said r4 prog Boo so may well listen again in order to get friend points too!

Don't know whether I should say this, but here goes- I got two bras from shhh Asda, both F, and I luffs them. And they were £6 eek! My sister took me to her bra fitting lady for a present, in a little back street boutiquie place, after I'd finished bfing and was ready to face the underwire again. She was very good and did that whole size me up by looking at me biz, and the bra she sold me was amazing (and not ££, £30 I think) but she was very big into the 'we all wear too loose around the back, get them hoiked up' and it gets quite uncomfy by the end of a day, as it's a back size less than I would normally have. She said we should have that over hang that is just so attractive over the back strap, rather than let them sag even a mm. I'm not so sure- sometimes gravity just can't be beaten. Wow I can waffle about bras.
Bet in the time I've written this there have been cross posts a plenty.Either that, or everyone's gone. It's always one or t'other.

starnosemole · 06/01/2011 21:34

Sorry, that first sentence was to kitkat not just random proclamation!

kat2504 · 06/01/2011 21:43

thanks for tip mole I did try asda but unfortunately appear to be too fat for their size 34 and not quite fat enough for their size 36. You are right that much hoikage can be quite uncomfy!
I tried to change my name to kitkat but someone else has nicked it. I like the sound of it, not least because it makes me think of chocolate.

so in this roll call
I'm Katherine. I'm still 32 for the moment. I'm still without baybee. I spent my 20s in wanton non-procreation, alas without developing a wonderful career instead. I had a baybee win age 32 last year but it did not result in a real live baybee and decided to play truant after 10 weeks. I have spent the last 5 months on Operation Re-Diff. Without success so far. I have learnt things I never knew about the science of procreation. The rest of the time I am a teacher but I am currently not over-fond of my job and would pack it in if I had half a chance.

PrincessBoo · 06/01/2011 22:12

What do you teach Kat? And what age?

I have been trying to update my privacy settings on facebook. I don't mind people seeing what I write on my own wall but I hate that every fucker gets to know what you're saying to other people.

Anyway after a bit if searching I think that there is no way to change it - unless anyone knows?

Truffkin · 06/01/2011 22:17

Evening all. Sorry for being MIA, have been for dinner with a lovely friend who is 9 weeks away from predicted baby laying date. She's exactly what I want to be like when diffed, enjoying a large glass of red and a baileys coffee Grin

I'm so frickin glad it's Friday tomorrow. This week has just been a nasty shock to the system after such a lovely festive break. We're heading back up to the midlands for my MiL's surprise birthday party. I'm not 100% sure she is going to be overjoyed as she's not really the surprise type and I think FiL has really organised it for his own enjoyment!

In bra news, I'm a generous G and was delighted to get 2 matching sets plus 2 pairs of PJs in the La Senza sale for 30 squids. As this is what I normally spend on one brassiere. It's a what I call bargain.

kat2504 · 06/01/2011 22:19

boo that new profile thing is bad! I wish I had never clicked on it. Presumably only my friends can see my wall though?
I teach French. In a middle school, years 5 to 8. And I teach a bit of lower ability Maths too.

kat2504 · 06/01/2011 22:25

I have just been on fb, set everything to Friends Only, previewed profile and nothing except my name appears. So I guess that stuff you write on other peoples walls in only visible to mutual friends. Or at least your own friends.

Is annoying that they keep changing things. I have to keep my privacy settings as high as possible and I hate it when they alter it so that people can see things you have previously hidden.

Ariesgirl · 06/01/2011 23:05

All you big-boobed biatches

Truffkin · 06/01/2011 23:13

Oh but Rie my Envy at your ability to wear racerback vests is a good match. Also triangle bikinis
